The rich and poor want to be superman and they aren't. Jesus said the master of the vineyard paid the guy who worked one hour the same he paid the guy who worked all day. To calculate who has the best life based on just money, when life is way more than money, makes no sense. You got physical strength, mental clarity, time, expenses, betrayers and true friends, more money at the start of the month then at the end, etc,,, etc.... Did all of you get the life you wanted? Did all of you want to stay in a place and never change jobs? Doesn't what you once liked not float your boat anymore? Hasn't there been a balance in your life no matter how much cash you grabbed and no matter financial bracket you've been in. Don't you start to get your way and then something gets in your way and then its back to things looking up for you for a little while?
Here's the problem: Evangelicals reject evangelism and instead embrace a political / law approach. The reason they think this works is because they don't really believe that Christianity has much effect on behavior which means that they think non-believers can be persuaded that life is sacred. But without a belief in God, a belief in the sanctity of life is irrational.
