You don't even get land, AND you still get destroyed by property taxes (the way the government keeps you renting forever).

No deposit and 60/80 year long generational mortgages......A young couple with two kids can buy a house and commit their young children to take over the last half of the mortgage payment......Not just debt slave for your life, but for your children's lives as well.
A wasteland nothing for miles around you cannot walk to the store or a pizza place.. And then you must buy a $70,000 car and fill it with a $100 tank of gas.. You have to have your head examined to buy out there..
And where are these people going to work to be able to pay that mortgage? Waitressing jobs? Are they commuting 100 miles each way to LA every day?
The whole commuting culture is insanity. Got to be a large part of the health epidemic, no walking, unnecessary stress, vehicle maintainence, accidents. Clearly to work within 20 miles of where you live should be made the norm if they actually cared about the quality of life and social norms. Gas prices through the roof.
Looks like mad max lol 😂
What waitressing jobs those cafes are going away if not gone already.. My mom is a baby boomer. She talks about that as a way of making money that doesn't exist anymore.
Not to mention when old people talk about waitressing.. they're forgetting about a decade ago. They take the tips directly out so they are taxed on them and they cannot make a living after that..
lllegals need somewhere to live with their 9k monthly rent checks.
They also need jobs to make $$$ they came here for:))))
So over all they are saving $5 to $10 to pump their gas tank but ....but but they go spend over $20 bucks at McDonald's or Chick- Fil - A and then go have a $8 coffee latte at starbucks it sounds like a bunch of hypocrites!!

As an outside observer, these homes are ugly af. I hope they are going to plant trees alongside those houses!
It's a desert. NO trees.
Looks way too hot.
I wouldn't mind one on some acres.
Most cities have a code on how many trees and shrubs you have to plant on access streets to subdivisions. It's usually 4 trees and 20 shrubs every 100 feet. The builder will have to install them after so many properties are habitated.
True it needs plants and good landscaping.

It may be zero down but something has to be elevated to take this kind of risk for a lender, probably a lower rate for 3 years(like 7.5%, then a balloon payment going up to 9 to 10 percent if not refinanced.

Great to promote first aid classes, I took one several years ago and try to keep up/remember everything. So much more than just CPR like how to immobilize limbs, how to pack wounds, use a tourniquet, operate an AED, burn care and how to deal with a sucking chest wound. Nothing better than building your skills so you can handle anything that comes along.
Tonight on Michael Bordenaro YT channel he visited with a Florida neighbor who just bragged about his recent 4.55 million dollar home purchase. The new owner entertains us viewers with his take on how dropping another $100K on this house makes sense. He bought the home sight unseen with all cash and thinks he can flip it for another million or 2 once he is done with his upgrades. The owner carries no property insurance and seems unaffected by the taxes which will soon cost hundreds of thousands of dollars.
I watched it too but I find it hard to believe that all of that went down like that. They guy said his business is struggling, that he laid off so many employees but still bought a house. Story doesn’t seem to add up
Yeah I saw that. Well Florida is a State where the government can’t confiscate your home…lots of people put their $ into real estate there for this reason. Not carrying insurance is a gamble.
