Can you tell me what does it mean that Wildlands has offline play mode...so Breakpoint cant be played offline??? Do i have to have internet connection all the time to play Breakpoint ?? WHy i ask: Basically i see that Breakpoint is on discount in playstation store... but i don't use playstation + ... i play games solo alone....so should i get Breakpoint or is that game not for someone who likes to play solo and not use internet connection on PS4?
@Tanel Viil Yes, breakpoint requires an online connection even if you're playing solo...Ubisoft ay 🙄 Both games are great solo or online only difference is you need WiFi to play breakpoint no matter what
If they remastered wildlands graphically, mechanically and bring back and expand on the predator mission I don't think there would be much of a debate which of the two would be better. Even without that I still much prefer wildlands
Wildlands feels more alive. you see children, dogs and many more wild animals around. the map feels more alive lots of people in the villages Breakpoint in the other hand is more poor which makes the game feel very empty sometimes the graphics and the gameplay mechanics are not the most important thing.
"If they Remaster Wildlands Graphically and Mechanically" My guy, I've played Wildlands on my Xbox One S on my 4K TV, and Breakpoint on the same. Breakpoint is HELLA Inferior graphically AND Mechanically to Wildlands. If they made Breakpoint the same way they did Wildlands, then Breakpoint would be amazing
If it wasn't for breakpoints gunplay which in my opinion trumps wildlands, I mean the ability to be able to do precision headshots at long distances even with a assault rifle that has a good range is very gratifying something that's hard or impossible to do in wildlands. I mean precision in the most tightest areas where you might just get a very small glimpse of a Target and you time it right and get off a headshot, I've done it numerous times, through windows or what have you. This is the only thing that keeps me coming back to breakpoint, otherwise I wouldn't give breakpoint a second thought because everything else in wildlands is better, except for the animation, and the enemy AI, which is more on the stupid side, more so than in breakpoint.
Both games are wonderful to be honest. Wildlands was solid out of the gate. While Breakpoint took a while, it eventually added up to a version of the formula that I would say is perfected. The gameplay is pitch perfect in that game, and the customization is much better. I love Breakpoint a lot now.

These types of reviews are such a great help for these days when we have too many choices, especially if you don't usually just play the newest games. Thanks! Keep it up!
It seems many people think Breakpoint feels uninhabited but I love it. If you turn the settings up to extreme tactical and don’t turn the difficulty down it really feels like you’re being hunted. I don’t understand the hatred for the drones either, the azreal spotting me and my subsequent desperate escape from the wolves is up there in my most favorite gaming experiences ever!
Idk what it is but breakpoint is missing something wildlands had. I always get bored quick on breakpoint and wildlands has me playing for a week before I can play something else
@@Chadius_Thundercock I like them both. I hated breakpoint initially but now it’s one of my favorite tactical games of all time! The story isn’t engaging to me and Wildlands certainly has it beat in that regard but the survival element of breakpoint sets it apart for me. If it had a few more additions such as food being necessary and weather elements being impactful it would be almost perfect for me as I’m not playing it for the story anyways. But to each their own, I know a lot if not most people view Wildlands as the superior title so you certainly aren’t alone in your feelings.
I agree. I never found breakpoint empty cus I understand the concept of the game. Its a totally different setting to bolivia. If breakpoint had towns full of npcs it would take away the whole survival and isolated feel that breakpoint is designed to have. I did the same customised the immersive mode and turned off all enemy huds and location markers. It made it so much more immersive and far more challenging then wildlands. I found wildlands simple and required far less planning then breakpoint which immersed me more. The drones add something different it forces u to come out of hiding. Wildlands u can sit there picking off cartel with a sniper rifle from a distance with your squad it got repetitively easy. I do like wildlands but I had to keep stopping and starting with it. Breakpoint just gave me a more immersive realistic experience and hooked me from the start. I found wildlands is a game you play but breakpoint is a game your in. Breakpoint for me hands down...
True, they are both very good and immersive games and the shooting mechanics feels great. The graphics of Breakpoint is also really good. Very close to Red Dead 2.
I've been playing wildlands for 4 years now on and off of course. I've beat the game twice already and I still play it even if there's no mission to complete haha. I love the hunt, adrenaline and the beautiful places it has! I now play it all by myself, extreme mode, without my team, without huds, and without calling rebels for help, just to make it challenging for me. I haven't played breakpoint yet nor care for it
I dropped Wildlands due to the enemy ai hive mind, no matter what you did, they always knew where you were, even if they were suspicious, they would go exactly where you were, no matter if you move.. it was ridiculous. I couldnt even enjoy sniping long distances because of this bullshit. And the whole thing about enemies taking 1 shot while in stealth and all of a suden become bullet sponge when engaging, that was extremely trash and unrealistic.
That's a nice review and very much on point without getting into too much details. I own and clock multiple hundreds of hours in both titles and I think like many people my dream at this point would be the wildlands setting, teamates and story with the breakpoint gameplay turned up just a bit more (especially the audio side). I's pretty sad that Ubisoft stopped updating breakpoint when the game was just starting to get really interesting, it's a few updates away from being great imo. Anyway, very nice video, I'll share it around ^^
Cheers man! Agree with what you said there. And thanks for sharing the video around!! Honestly the best thing you can do to support this and all the hours that went into it! 👊
Breakpoint after Operation Motherland was amazing, but I think Wildlands still edges out better, especially if you're playing co-op with friends. The game almost becomes Far Cry ridiculous
he made a great point here that no one seems to realize. BEcause the story for BP is set in a isolated place, they can't have too much life coming and going. It needs to feel like you're not around anyone friendly at all. Such a great point that no review brought up anywhere from reddit to youtube. Everyone made it seem like it was a dev oversight but its not.
imo, Breakpoint has several improved game mechanisms but that map is unbearably boring and lifeless. While technically, there is some biome diversity, but everything looks very "dead" and "washed out", and too many futuristic housing littered all over the map resulting in an overall feel of "sameness" no matter where you go on the island. Wildlands just had a way more lively map with NPCs going about their daily routine. You can even see cartel members taking cars, driving home for lunch, then drive back to their outpost to resume work. I also think Wildlands was just way more visually varied, and the fact it's based on real world location with a much more believable story line made the experience a lot more immersive. While I do like some improvements made in Breakpoint to the gameplay, it was a game I immediately uninstalled after completing both the main story and operation Motherland; whereas I still go back to Wildlands every now and then to re-immerse myself in the highly detailed fictional Bolivia.
Wildlands will always win in the gameplay/story aspect, but man breakpoint is such a beautiful game, for example WL Bolivia was stunning , the aesthetic, and loved the Cartel/Unidad/and rebels and their relations it made WL Bolivias wold seem so active and interesting with the internal corruption and wars you see and become a part of. But Geeeeee if WL had breakpoint graphics and some of BPs new features like WL had a remaster, that’d warn my heart lol WL hold a nice spot in my heart too for being the game that launched my interest in open world games,
There are Alot of quality of life improvements in BP. After playing WL for 3 years, on and off, beating it once, I finally started BP, wanting more. It starts pretty good, but the world feels Soo empty (most everything is abandoned) compared to wildlands, and lacking in purpose. I constantly feel like I don't know what to do next, and it all feels so generic. The mission system, how you chose them, and pin them, in my experience sucks, the missions literally are scattered all over the map, randomly, and make you return to a base after traveling so far (at least in the beginning). WL ties the WHOLE map to the story, and gives a reason for spending time in each zone. As much as people complained about some wokeness in far cry 6...for me it scratches the wild lands itch more than BP. Mission's in WL, and Far cry 6 (which does this better than other far crys) are centered around the people and the lore connected to those same people in certain areas, which enables the story to carry, move you across the whole map, without you forgetting why you set out on your mission before you get to the mission area. The is another big point WL's story has going for it: like it or not...simply because it is about something real, and interesting (narcos), it automatically has its own lore. Ask anyone who speaks Spanish ( I do ) and played the game: of the music on the radio... there is about an album of music written about the different bosses, songs about their exploits....that isn't a random thing to have done ( write songs about narco bosses in a narco dominated country), songs about narcos are called corridos and are part of the narco world. I am still trying to play BP, but constantly find myself talking to a NPC, quest giver, and setting out to do the quest, to find I had to talk to them again, before leaving base, and or, simply talking to them does not start the mission you gotta go into a mess of a branching missions bubble map, that braches like how some skill trees look in a rpg, to enable the mission.
MGSV phantom pain also scratches the itch for me, even tho its a very different style of game lol. jsut the flexibilty of options is unrivaled.. even if the story is pretty "anime" the gameplay is just soo solid hope theres a new ghost recon game but idk ubisoft is always playing with our hearts
What u said lol ..I just started bp other day and I agree its hard trying to find the next storyline mission and having to return to base is annoying ..just tooo messy for my liking .no fluidity to the story ...fuk it im.deleting it now
I was playing far cry 2 with wildlands music, and realized, that would make a true sequel to wildlands: an edgy game in Africa with different factions, some running guns in the middle of a confusing war, with a people who want peace...sunsets, dusty desert, jungle, a game with a hard core reality to wrestle with.
I launched BP and uninstalled it 2h after. THen installed it again and since then, I can't play wildlands anymore. Wildelands is well made. Every core design aspects of the game make sense, the first time experience is very clean and the story is very well served. Meanwhile, BP has good shooting and feels like a real hardcore simulation shooter but you have to go through so much sh*t before you can enjoy the game that you will probably give up before. The first time experience I have with BP must be one of the worst I ever had AND I PLAYED SOME SH*TTY NIGHTMARES. BP goes as far as making YOU make the setups needed to make it enjoyable. As soon as you are in the HUB, you have all quests from all DLC that activates and you just don't know what to do. The real problem is that BP had an identitial crisys between casual looter shooter multiplayer and hardcore solo tactical inflitration shooter. But, if you go through all that crap, you will find a gem. A cracked gem cause some missions were clearly not designed for a solo inflitration base ("Hey , what don't we make spawn 30 ennemies scripted to rush the player once he press this button in the mission?") I would pay thousands to know what happened in ubisoft when the dude who said BP had to be a looter shooter saw the sales.
Agreed. Freaking love wildlands and it’ll always be memorable for me. But after playing breakpoint, the mechanics and gameplay in general is just less cartoony and better overall. The world of wildlands is better, but the mechanics of breakpoint are better. To me, it makes breakpoint more enjoyable to play
When I started BP after the first mission I saw so much shit to do and I got confused "who do I talk to, what am I even doing" I litetally did nothing in order and somehow started act 3 before even talking to Josiah In Wildlands the DLCs were seperate games which I Guess was a complaint but even the other missions that werent campaign were usually in higher level areas and You had to get there first before You could start them not just letting You instantly do everything
Great video! Thanks for putting it together. Not sure if my input will be helpful for anyone, but as a 52 yo casual gamer I found Wildlands to be the perfect marriage of Call Of Duty and Skyrim I was looking for. I'd played the original GR on PS2 and found having to micro-manage your AI teammates a bit off-putting and I never looked at the GR franchise again until about a month ago. So for all the gamers over 50 out there who may feel as if the the gaming industry is leaving us behind, Wildlands is a fun, relaxing, and visually stunning title with a very shallow learning curve.
I wish Wildlands got a current Gen upgrade on XSX and PS5. I enjoyed Wildlands more personally but Breakpoint just plays so much smoother on my Series X and is still fun but man Wildlands was addicting good to me back in 2017
I own both. I do prefer Wildlands in many aspects. The world is just prettier and more lived in. The story is grounded and feels like a real operation you'd see from the military, though obviously embellished for the sake of making it more entertaining. But its just a solid story. Simple and fun. The customization and gameplay are both rather solid, though fall slightly short of Breakpoint. Your ai teammates are so much better. They comment on things and just talk, not always directly talking about the mission. They feel like real people. The game was designed around playing with ai teammates, so of course they're better. They're an intended aspect of the game. Breakpoint was intended to be played solo or with real people, so despite adding AI teammates, they're rather basic and lifeless. Breakpoint looks better around the board, feels better to play, gives you more options to mess around with in terms of literal game options and gameplay features. The game just feels better to play, but in my opinion, even motherland bringing back the region system (which I think needs to be what they focus on moving forward with the next game, its soooo good, motherland is a million times better than story mode.) didn't do anything about the fact the game just has a dead world. Sure the jungle and mountains and swamps are pretty.... but we had that in Bolivia, and more. And civilians are everywhere going about their lives. I will say, I do like the injury system (and the fact you could turn it off.) It made being out of position dangerous. Get hit and you might have to limp back into cover. Both are fun, but I like Wildlands overall.
Wildlands is better… Breakpoint looks better… Wildlands story line is dope asf ,but combat every few seconds…Breakpoint not enough combat…just combine them 💪🏽
@@AverageGameReviews I wouldn’t even mind if we went after another cartel inside of Breakpoint lrg world …aslong as they structure it like wildlands storyline bcuz that story line and set up was one of the best I’ve ever seen and I’m 44 bro so I’ve seen a lot of game storylines 😂😂😂
Wildlands "story" and missions are more down to earth and realistic, which I prefer to the melodramatic Breakpoint storyline. But beyond that Breakpoint is vastly superior; everything about the weapons, including sound, is better. Mechanics, total game customization, gunplay, stealth, CQB, It's all far better than Wildlands. I also like choosing how many teammates to use. That feels a lot more like the Original GR and R6.
Unpopular opinion but I actually liked breakpoint more than wildlands. Don't get me wrong, wildlands was awesome and each have their pros but yeah, breakpoint for me. Oh and the graphics in breakpoint is just stunning. One of the best looking games out there with RDR2, absolutely beautiful. The detail and textures is insane. Basically looks more next gen than many games put there today for me personally. Overall, both are good games, offering a different experience
I just got Breakpoint, played for 20 minutes and went back to Wildlands... I know i didn't give it enough time, but it was pretty immediate that my brain new which game was better.
I prefer Wildlands, is really underrated This game is more fun and has a big map I wish the dev teams added this things 1)Being able to only equip only primary weopen 2)being able to choose weopen for teammate 3)bigger jpc or apc vest(i dont know whats the name of it) 4)add a 50 cal on armored vehicles instead the minigun
Is crazy how ghost recon is such an underrated game. Graphics and all is way beyond its time when they come out my opinion is beyond COD AND BATTLEFIELD because they actually stick to what they are known for. COD is finally giving us a MW2 that we all knew they could. Only imagine when GR comes out in the next Gen the games will be amazing
I think everyone has a different opinion but for me Wildlands will always be the best Ghost Recon game. It's a shame it doesn't run at 60fps on XB Series and PS5.
I love these 2 games. I bought Wildlands the day it released for Xbox, and then bought Breakpoint when it released aswell for Xbox, yesterday ended up buying Breakpoint Digitally on Xbox because i got it on sale for $9 I love these Open World Special Forces games with huge maps to explore
I love the customization of breakpoint I wish they would add more features such as customizing your own patches and also places them and place them on different points of your gear like in your Combat Helmet for example. Also it would be pretty cool if u could do that to weapons also 💯
Nice video though I'm surprised you didn't mention the character class system in Breakpoint0's campaign which IMO was one of the biggest gameplay changes between the two. I played through Breakpoint last year and Wildlands a couple of months ago and personally prefer Breakpoint more because of the gameplay changes and I find the story more interesting though I think I would have liked it more if the main campaign had a version of the rebel support system.
Really like both, if I have to choose I prefer Wildlands real country setting in Bolivia (where Auroa in Breakpoint is a entirely fictious world) Wildlands has brilliant atmosphere in a lively open world and and real attention to detail. The best thing about Breakpoint is that it is 60fps where Wildlands is 30fps, Wildlands needs a 60fps update and that would again make it even more superior to Breakpoint, having said that am glad there are these two games and hopefully there will be a new Ghost Recon open world in the future.
I love them both and have some issues with both.. i think they are masterpieces… wildlands did get me mad when they took out the predator missions… i didnt like that.. if they put those back in i’ld give the game a 9 out 10… now if they make the unlocks for tier mode the ability to where once you unlock something a gun or anything its unlocked forever.. my point is if you unlock the bad news lvoac you should now be able to start any new game and be able to use the bad news right away…if they did that or do it i’ld give the game 10/10
wildland is really good very immersive but after playing breakpoint it is very hard for me to change to play wildland again because the mechanic and control on breakpoint is far more better than wildland, hope the dev can remaster wildland with breakpoint mechanic ,graphic and control
Ghost Recon Breakpoint = Assassin's Creed Odyssey 👍 Various fun + RPG growth factors that make me feel more attached + random battles by drone reconnaissance + AI colleagues...ETC The shooting sound of the assault rifle M4A1 is thrilling. The movie "Hit" echoes cheerfully, reminiscent of the battle in the city
What have they done? I've been playing Wildlands for a couple of month, done about 80 hour's and I love the game. So I got Breakpoint today and played 2 hours and I hate it. Yes they made Breakpoint tactically better but that's it, the graphics are so bad. I play on PC so I have been through the setting's and it still looks bad. How did they bring out a game 2 years later and mess it up so much compared to the first?
@AverageGameReviews I'm sorry I should have specified the way they had their multiplayer system set up was an amazing way of play. I never really play the campaigns I've always been a multiplayer. My bad lol.
If you’re on Xbox like me, there’s only one choice. Wildlands is a great game but only runs at 30fps while Breakpoint gets 60hz and very crisp resolution. I hope they update Wildlands.
If breakpoint could be played offline I would have bought it but running the risk of wasting money since they could kill the servers at any moment really turned me away from the game
You are so underrated dude, Im looking at buying Breakpoint when I get uncapped wifi, just sucks there isnt any crossplay, cause my friends on xbox dont have it and my one friend that had it is on PS4.
Jesus Christ Ubisoft HURRY UP AND BRING US ANOTHER GAME I’ve got withdrawal symptoms Pissed off with breakpoint now only playing 5 hours but wildlands was 40… So my opinion not that anyone cares lol Motherland 9/10 Breakpoint 6/10 Wildlands 10/10 Fallen ghosts 9/10 😊
I'd still have say wildlands as I own both on pc and xbox and mostly enjoy wildlands more, it seems more accurate than breakpoint to me with lots aspects
Wildlands in better by far, imo. If they made more DLC for Wildlands I would buy it. Breakpoint became good enough to play through later. But I much prefer almost everything about Wildlands. One thing I didn't care for in these games was the stealth technology. Even when I was using it myself, I felt like I was somehow cheating because of the cheesiness. I would rather it was just left out of the game.
In the future there will be videos like "is breakpoint still worth it in 2031" by then servers are closed and ubisoft has released 2 or 3 new ghost recons in short NO, there is no future for "online only games" players come back for the story and game, I tried to play bad company 2 and had to use an emulator to play online yeah there was a few players in the lobby but it was nothing like how I remember it so I completed the campaign again and had a blast, but the truth is no matter how good a game is the online aspects meaning multiplayer will eventually die at some point, I just hope developers put the breaks on making games that are "online only" It should out right illegal to be honest, like imagine in the future if you had to connect your car to an online server and if the servers down you can't drive anywhere at your own free will or when they eventually close the servers you need to then trade in your car or scrap it that's what its like with online only games, you pay for something and they control when you can use it, someone should sue them for this before they come up with the idea of making everything we use and pay for in everyday life online only 😂
Personally, Wildlands is the better game for me. It's gunplay and accessibility not be better than Breakpoint, and I give it that. But the rest I have to give it to Wildlands. First if all, Wildlands is on Gamepass, which does indeed give it a upgrade in my opinion. The game also has some of the best looking areas. Sure, Breakpoint may be better for terrain, but Wildlands beats it for its design. The grapichs are legit beautiful on Wildlands, while my head hurts not even a hour into playing Breakpoint. The stories are both kinda meh, but I personally loved the one in Wildlands over Breakpoint. Sure, in BP we are the HUNTED, but I kinda find it a bit lame? Like, don't get me wrong, I don't mind being the underdog, but I much proffered Fallen Ghost's approach to it over BP. Personally, here's how I see it Want a fun, third person tactical shooter for coop with friends? Play Wildlands. Want a immersive, methodical game? Also play Wildlands on Ghost Mode. Want a mostly working, more sim like game with some great features for immersion: Play Breakpoint (Please don't, go play a better game)
One thing I want to disagree with is the gun customization point. Wildlands does it WAY better. They have more variety of weapons, don't lock certain attachments to certain guns, allow for much more depth in actually changing the parts, and the game doesn't rely on named variants with unchanagable attachments. As a gun guy, Wildlands is far superior. Breakpoint is so bad at this in some cases that it almost kills the fun of the gunplay as a whole.
It's weird for me Wildlands has a great story but not great mechanics/graphics. Breakpoint story isnt great but the mechanics/graphics are great... Ubisoft might as well make a new game a basically combine the 2. Have it set somewhere in South America, with breakpoint mechanicans that'd be perfect (then again it IS Ubisoft)
great video as always! very detailed not sure which one is better imo but break point does look so good graphically and with the base clearing and gun play just makes me wanna buy it
i just started wildlands two months ago i really liked it but it started feeling very repetitive by the time i got to my 3rd new area. It’s basically the same type of missions just slightly different looking villages etc. Its probably way more fun with friends which i sadly don’t have an option for.
@@samn6944 you’re right , i tried breakpoint a couple days ago and the map isn’t nearly as fun to travel around in and it’s empty. Also the gameplay “feels” better in wildlands it’s odd.
@@samn6944 Atmosphere & setting in Wildlands is better but the game is so damn punishing. Its like you HAVE to stealth every camp otherwise the game just rains on you.
While all your points are very valid, the reason most people hate ghost recon breakpoint is literally because of the behemoth. It's great you can turn off a lot of the drones and helicopters, but the behemoth is the worst addition to any of these games.
If I buy breakpoint, can I just buy the standard game or do I need the gold edition for for things like operation motherland, weapons or customizables? Iv just recently went back to wildlands for first time since 2019ish. I heard nothing good about breakpoint at release so I never paid attention until recently seeing videos that talked about all the improvements from updates.
Played both, i think they are equal with breakpoint really having more customisation, i still enjoy both and play them all, don't really notice much difference
Question, how do I unlock cool looking gear and weapons in breakpoint without wanting to shoot myself ? I like the game but compared to wildlands it's so freaking chaotic I don't know where to go first its all just bunched up on top of each other. Wildlands was much simpler
In Wildlands You get a bunch of customization shit and You don't have to go somewhere to get it There were unuiqe boss items but they made sense. Sure variety isn't much but You know what to do. In breakpoint I was like. Should I go like there and do some searching and go get some stuff like.. what should I do? In Wildlands You get one region and You will do that region before going to the next one In BP they are just regions to be regions I Guess Why are they there nobody knows Intel is all over the place I'm just confused as hell I started going after behemoths after like 10 hours of playing the game and somehow took out 5
I really hope for wildlands 2 i remember having so much fun playing for the first time and even now i sometimes get on the game just to see the beautiful world and to raid some bases
I like breakpoint, much better because it seems more realistic the shooting is better and you don’t fail missions and have to restart everything just for being spotted. It’s not as required to be stealthy in breakpoint which I love, but you can also be very stealthy like prone camp, which is also cool. I really hated How Wildlands forced you to be stealthy for everything and frowned upon you just shooting the enemies.
Wildlands for me, no amount of next gen graphics or better weapon customization can compensate for a well thought out storyline and an even better open world aesthetic and navigation experience
Hello. I played Ghost Recon 1 so many years ago and want to go back in a tactical gaming experience. Wich could work better? I just want to have a fully tactical game with really hard difficulty. Wildlands or Breakpoint?
Breakpoint will be better for you! There is some trade off in immersion and story, however for absolute stealth and the top end of difficulty, Breakpoint excells
@@AverageGameReviews Dont worry hahaha I was just excited to buy it because of Black Friday. Thanks for the info and also the video was awesome! Love comparison videos
I own both games, here are my thoughts: Ghost Recon Breakpoint: Advanced combat gameplay Skill and classes system More useful AI teammate Better customization More weapons choice Enhance graphic Ghost Recon Wildlands: Real place world map Better story campaign Better atmosphere Non-RPG
Wildlands for me. The Things I can't stand about Breakpoint is when a Teammate heals you that you're still not fully healed having to patch yourself up and I also hate the Controls of how the Character struggles to climb Hills/Mountains. Such a downgrade compared to Wildlands.
i literally just finished breakpoint a few hours ago finally after playing it on and off for nearly 3 years, then i remembered wildlands is free on ps so downloaded it straight after... it sucked!!! breakpoint wasnt great but i had a shit load of fun running around the open world just killing everyone. the combat is so smooth... wildlands on the other hand just felt really clunky and unpolished but the story seems better than BP. i only lasted an hour in wildlands and then deleted it.
@@jonathanhuff884 news flash: you’re on a secluded island with enemies only…ofc it’s gonna be “lifeless and boring” compared to the one where you’re in a city💀
I just started playing Wildlands. Had the game for well over a year and never even booted it up (PC sales and giveaways are great for that)... Wish I'd have done it right away. The graphics aren't modern but the gameplay and mechanics are incredible. Aside from having to use the scroll wheel to give commands (this is very clunky and gets ya killed sometimes), idk what else I would change about this game. I haven't tried breakpoint and won't until I've exhausted Wildlands and mmeben then maybe I finally play Far Cry 5 and New Dawn... Still got Metal Gear Solid from 2015 to play. Damn PC sales.

Ayo same same
Give Wildlands most of the mechanics and animations from Breakpoint and everyone would love it.
Wildlands feels more alive. you see children, dogs and many more wild animals around. the map feels more alive
lots of people in the villages
Breakpoint in the other hand is more poor which makes the game feel very empty
sometimes the graphics and the gameplay mechanics are not the most important thing.
"If they Remaster Wildlands Graphically and Mechanically"
My guy, I've played Wildlands on my Xbox One S on my 4K TV, and Breakpoint on the same. Breakpoint is HELLA Inferior graphically AND Mechanically to Wildlands. If they made Breakpoint the same way they did Wildlands, then Breakpoint would be amazing
@@Cameron088 on console it is but on PC breakpoint looks graphically better when both games are maxed out.

i prefer the liveliness of the wildlands map but i like the breapoint gunplay and customisation more
Agree completely!
You can't even walk with weapons sheathed in breakpoint lol what customization?
@@Winterfellen that’s not a customisation issue
That's really the only reason people shit on breakpoint. It is by far the better game in every way. The only thing is the atmosphere.
Both games are wonderful to be honest. Wildlands was solid out of the gate. While Breakpoint took a while, it eventually added up to a version of the formula that I would say is perfected. The gameplay is pitch perfect in that game, and the customization is much better. I love Breakpoint a lot now.
I played WL day one. It was not solid 😂.

But to each their own, I know a lot if not most people view Wildlands as the superior title so you certainly aren’t alone in your feelings.
so you're a masochist, cool
Can’t you just cover and conceal from drones? Do people wanna play COD or something? Drone are literally real.
I think we debate these games and sometimes forget how unique and great they both are compared to the rest of the market. I love both.
I haven't played breakpoint yet nor care for it
Ghost Recon Wildlands was better overall in my opinion but Breakpoint had better weapon options and less cartoon mechanics.
For me Wildlands is much better overall
The content, open world, enviroment and much more
Wildlands map, story, and vehicle physics + Breakpoints movement, graphics, and customization would be perfect.
I actually hardly ever use the helicopters in wildlands as I have more fun traversing the world on a bike or truck off road.
Plus that hot ass cartel chick
Breakpoint after Operation Motherland was amazing, but I think Wildlands still edges out better, especially if you're playing co-op with friends. The game almost becomes Far Cry ridiculous
What do you mean ridiculous?
@@curseofsasuke I meant that as a compliment lol. I just mean that the game can be like batshit crazy with 3 other friends because of the mayhem
Cool
he made a great point here that no one seems to realize.
Honestly one of the most clear. concise, and informative reviews I've seen in a while. Subscribed.
Awesome, thank you!
Second this comment. Another sub.
Awesome review, wish I could sub.
Wildlands is exponentially better.
Wildlands cause they didn’t go for the division type live service and you can play offline lmao
I'm playing my first Ghost recon and i chose Wildlands for starters. I really enjoy the gameplay and the world is beautiful.
MGSV phantom pain also scratches the itch for me, even tho its a very different style of game lol. jsut the flexibilty of options is unrivaled.. even if the story is pretty "anime" the gameplay is just soo solid
hope theres a new ghost recon game but idk ubisoft is always playing with our hearts
@@InglesSpanishConversation I am actually very surprised that more games don't use the continent of Africa as a setting for games.
A cracked gem cause some missions were clearly not designed for a solo inflitration base ("Hey , what don't we make spawn 30 ennemies scripted to rush the player once he press this button in the mission?")
I would pay thousands to know what happened in ubisoft when the dude who said BP had to be a looter shooter saw the sales.
Very well said!
When I started BP after the first mission I saw so much shit to do and I got confused
"who do I talk to, what am I even doing"
I litetally did nothing in order and somehow started act 3 before even talking to Josiah
In Wildlands the DLCs were seperate games which I Guess was a complaint but even the other missions that werent campaign were usually in higher level areas and You had to get there first before You could start them not just letting You instantly do everything
I prefer wildlands even in gunplay and customizations, the New things in breakpoint look cool but for me don't change my way to play.
I couldn’t agree more love wildlands
WILDLANDS HANDS DOWN BECAUSE IT'S ABOUT THE DEADLY DRUG CARTEL

Breakpoint - Gunplay and customization
Wildland - Environment, AI, Story, Holt

Wildlands "story" and missions are more down to earth and realistic, which I prefer to the melodramatic Breakpoint storyline. But beyond that Breakpoint is vastly superior; everything about the weapons, including sound, is better. Mechanics, total game customization, gunplay, stealth, CQB, It's all far better than Wildlands. I also like choosing how many teammates to use. That feels a lot more like the Original GR and R6.
Wildlands is more realistic, therefore better.

Breakpoint Nighttime with a squad night vision goggles cruising in a hummer with the Gatling gun raging is a rare gaming experience
I love the customization of breakpoint I wish they would add more features such as customizing your own patches and also places them and place them on different points of your gear like in your Combat Helmet for example. Also it would be pretty cool if u could do that to weapons also 💯

Breakpoint has no sole. Wildlands keeps pulling me (and friends) back in.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint = Assassin's Creed Odyssey 👍

Yes they made Breakpoint tactically better but that's it, the graphics are so bad.
I play on PC so I have been through the setting's and it still looks bad.
How did they bring out a game 2 years later and mess it up so much compared to the first?

Fallen ghosts 9/10 😊
I'd still have say wildlands as I own both on pc and xbox and mostly enjoy wildlands more, it seems more accurate than breakpoint to me with lots aspects
Breakpoint for single player, Wildlands for PvP.
All I'm saying is I feel like nomads voice had more character in wildlands than his new voice in breakpoint.
Personally, here's how I see it
Want a fun, third person tactical shooter for coop with friends?
Yeah I hear people say breakpoint gun customization is better but I just don't see it.
The instant disappearing corpses in Wildlands breaks my immersion. Don't worry about a sentry spotting a body, they dissolve.
I absolutely loved Wildlands. Had a hard time getting into Break Point. Preferred the Bolivia setting.
They might combine the negatives of the two games knowing them😂
@@Menace.II.Society right 😂😂😂 Ubisoft is like "y'all havent seen anything yet." 😂

Both games to me are a gamer essential
Tbh i acrually enjoyed wildlands during the demo. Although the graphics were downgraded. It still looked great
If I buy breakpoint, can I just buy the standard game or do I need the gold edition for for things like operation motherland, weapons or customizables?
Iv just recently went back to wildlands for first time since 2019ish. I heard nothing good about breakpoint at release so I never paid attention until recently seeing videos that talked about all the improvements from updates.
Nope, the base game will give you access to all that stuff!
@@AverageGameReviews you the man! I really appreciate that. I owe you a sub
I downloaded Breakpoint and felt so overwhelmed and annoyed by all these missions just piling up. I ended up uninstalling the game.
In Wildlands You get a bunch of customization shit and You don't have to go somewhere to get it
There were unuiqe boss items but they made sense.
Sure variety isn't much but You know what to do.
In breakpoint I was like.
Should I go like there and do some searching and go get some stuff like.. what should I do?
In Wildlands You get one region and You will do that region before going to the next one
In BP they are just regions to be regions I Guess
Why are they there nobody knows
Intel is all over the place I'm just confused as hell
I started going after behemoths after like 10 hours of playing the game and somehow took out 5
I really hope for wildlands 2 i remember having so much fun playing for the first time and even now i sometimes get on the game just to see the beautiful world and to raid some bases
This is also my main issue with it but WIldlands has such an immersive setting.
@@AverageGameReviews I bought Wildlands yesterday...😭🤣 Ill keep Breakpoint tho in mind when finishing Wildlands. Thanks for the reply!
@@DamakriaStudios Haha sorry for the late reply! Wildlands is my pick for the better game overall! The stealth just isn't quite as good as breakpoint.
@@AverageGameReviews Dont worry hahaha I was just excited to buy it because of Black Friday. Thanks for the info and also the video was awesome! Love comparison videos
Just bought wildlands for $5. Having a great time so far. It pays to wait 6 years and buy at a sale nowadays.
I own both games, here are my thoughts:
Ghost Recon Breakpoint:
Advanced combat gameplay
Skill and classes system
More useful AI teammate
Better customization
More weapons choice
Enhance graphic
Ghost Recon Wildlands:
Real place world map
Better story campaign
Better atmosphere
Non-RPG
Wildlands is WAY better. I just wish the guns would unlock. I HATE online play with this game.
And the planes need rudder control
Wildlands was fire. I have Breakpoint installed rn but I’m hesitant to play it cause the map seems hella lifeless and boring
@@jonathanhuff884 news flash: you’re on a secluded island with enemies only…ofc it’s gonna be “lifeless and boring” compared to the one where you’re in a city💀
Bro the radio is so important. Imagine far cry 4 without that radio guy
To me crafting and hunting systems got played out in video games
To me personally they are both masterpieces. Great content
Cheers man!
Wildlands #1 game, hands down better then Breakpoint
