The thing that always bothered me the most, was that you could set off an explosion (C4/drone/whatever) and not be anywhere near the explosion, and the whole enemy base would know exactly where you were, instantly. Mortars presighted on your exact coords and start shelling while never seeing you.
Even the enemy soldiers will percentage hit you automatically if you are exposed. Like a life sucking laser instead of actually hitting bullets in you, thats hella annoying

I played this game as basically "Baby's First Arma Coop". My friends who were not patient/hardcore enough to do autistically authentic Arma PVE ops (and didn't have the 4+ hours to do a proper one) would be able to play this with me. We could still LARP as operators and all that, but no missions needed to be edited, modlist downloaded, or insane control schemes using every key needing to be learned (wildlands just has generic third person shooter controls), nor did they need to be autistic knowers of esoteric military knowledge like how does lasing a target or reading the range lines on a Specter DR4 scope work. As a casual normies alternative to army man larp coop when you don't have the autism for Arma, Wildlands is king! Super underrated. Wildland is peak, IMO, it tops breakpoint. And it's coming from someone who spent more hours in Breakpoint than Wildlands LMAO for the graphic + tactical gun play when you're infiltrating bases only = Breakpoint (does not include mission variant, creativity, I wish they took inspiration from HITMAN!! imagine having the options to sabotage the environment like furniture traps, electronics, etc but still tactical shooter). The rest of it WILDLANDS, but it felt more like minor improvement really
I can't believe how well Wildlands did cutscenes and how badly Breakpoint did them. Also Wildlands Nomad voice actor was way more real and normal. And I prefer the cutscenes to have the clothes you're wearing instead of automatically taking off your mask and/or hat/helmet and giving you a p226 even though you don't have one equipped.
dalma is a bot for a fishing (with a ph) clam (with an sc). Generic comment, Sus profile pic, sus channel, artificially boosted likes. It wants it's profile pic to be seen so it artificially boosts it's likes to get to the top of the comments.
Interesting that you made a video about this game just now, I've actually had it in my download queue for a little bit meaning to have a play around on it again. I like going back to old games, especially ones I played a lot when they were new.
I have to give credit where its due, GRW got me into tactical shooters and i still have a good time playing it to this day. Its a fun game to fall back on and I’d recommend it to anyone who wants to give tactical shooters a try without immediately tumbling down that rabbit hole.
It’s also annoying to only have like 30% of the customizations in breakpoint coming from wildlands - and in cut scenes your head gear disappears and you only have the same, one pistol.
I love Wildlands so much, i wish the writing and the combat soundscape took itself more seriously but the game is great. turning off enemy clouds on the minimap and playing permadeath gostmode with friends is sooooooo much fun.
Honestly the game mechanics for unlocking weapons and attachments is really what tuins the entire game. Kinda wish they used a shop mechanic or level up system.
Ubi clearly didn't know how to handle it; I think finding weapon caches to unlock makes sense But if you pick up a weapon you should be able to put that into your stash which GRWL doesn't let you do Then we go to GRBP and they put *both* levelled weapons from The Division in *and* the GRWL weapon create unlocks in the game 😅
Wildlands was such a good game in my opinion just wish they hade more camo for clothes. I wanted m90 camo😅 also i hade some of the most fun with a group of friends when i played this
I want: A game a FPS Singleplayer game that has the enviroment and open world of GR:WL and GR:BP That has the enemy AI and gunplay of Escape From Tarkov And the replayability of S.T.A.L.K.E.R Anomaly/GAMMA. Multiplayer is last priority.
turn on ghost experience, turn off gear score, and play op. motherland instead of the main story. I promise it's a better experience that way. Atmosphere still isn't as top notch as Wildlands, but a much better tactical sandbox imo
The replayability for me surprisingly came from the ghost mode. How you tackled the mission felt so much more risky when you literally had one. Life. Might give it a shot again
Still not worth 5 dollars. 00:05 sorry but you dont lead a team, Game is a literal joke, you cant even control your AI squad. Want one of them to stay on a hill with a sniper overlooking the compound you are about to raid and have the other 2 go with you? Too bad, you cant split them up...WHY!!!!??? That was the gap closer needed to make single player viable and feel like a tactical game. Dont get this crap of a game.
It’s definitely worth it, you can still sync shots with your team and have them take out whoever you want, on top of that your team also can’t get detected until you are so you can still do missions silently. You can have them rally on you, you can order them to fire/hold. This game is one of the best 3rd person shooters
RUclips doesn't even update it's view count in 17 seconds... don't think people understand how RUclips works like when they put first and don't realise hundreds of people have already viewed and commented but RUclips hasn't had time to update yet
I'm not sure if you've pointed this out in a past video but the minimap only shows blobs of unmarked enemies on lower difficulties. Of course, everyone knows you can just turn off the markers completely in the HUD settings.
I remember playing the closed beta for this game, felt it would've been far too repetitive so I never picked it up when it released. Feels weird to think it's now 7 years old...
I need to reinstall this game to complete all the missions and I need to reinstall Ghost Recon Breakpoint to see if people are still playing the pvp mode and also play some old missions.
I love Wildlands and Breakpoint so much The next open-world GR should combine the environments of Wildlands and the gunplay of Breakpoint, that would be the perfect GR game for me (and without the, at times, mind-numbing repetition)

I agree XD, I was gonna comment this, also that Lambo Airbrake joke also crossed my mind
Wildland is peak, IMO, it tops breakpoint. And it's coming from someone who spent more hours in Breakpoint than Wildlands LMAO
for the graphic + tactical gun play when you're infiltrating bases only = Breakpoint (does not include mission variant, creativity, I wish they took inspiration from HITMAN!! imagine having the options to sabotage the environment like furniture traps, electronics, etc but still tactical shooter).
Love your creativity, it's inspiring!
dalma is a bot for a fishing (with a ph) clam (with an sc).
And driving got worse somehow in breakpoint

IS THAT THE EVAN ROYALTY?!
I am still enjoying this game in 2024. A few new missions and some cross border excursions would bring it back. Let’s make Wildlands great again.
man this game was fun
I love Wildlands so much, i wish the writing and the combat soundscape took itself more seriously but the game is great. turning off enemy clouds on the minimap and playing permadeath gostmode with friends is sooooooo much fun.
Who needs Ghost Recon Wildlands when we have Ghost Recon Wildlands at home. (Arma 3 with a butt load of mods.) 😂
I wish they would do a remaster of this game, it’s so fun
Honestly the game mechanics for unlocking weapons and attachments is really what tuins the entire game. Kinda wish they used a shop mechanic or level up system.
Ubi clearly didn't know how to handle it;
I think finding weapon caches to unlock makes sense
But if you pick up a weapon you should be able to put that into your stash which GRWL doesn't let you do
Then we go to GRBP and they put *both* levelled weapons from The Division in *and* the GRWL weapon create unlocks in the game 😅
Yoo drewskii you need to make a whole video on the splinter cell mission. It's just so difficult
Wildlands was such a good game in my opinion just wish they hade more camo for clothes. I wanted m90 camo😅 also i hade some of the most fun with a group of friends when i played this
31:18 If you played this mission. You suffered on it and you know that when they started shooting without silencers they were already dead
I want:
A game a FPS Singleplayer game that has the enviroment and open world of GR:WL and GR:BP
That has the enemy AI and gunplay of Escape From Tarkov
And the replayability of S.T.A.L.K.E.R Anomaly/GAMMA.
Multiplayer is last priority.
Probably one of the only games where I’ve gotten a legitimate half mile shot with a sniper rifle
Dude, I paid full price for Breakpoint. SOOOOOO DISAPPOINTED AFTER WILDLANDS
Breakpoint was a scam 😂
turn on ghost experience, turn off gear score, and play op. motherland instead of the main story. I promise it's a better experience that way. Atmosphere still isn't as top notch as Wildlands, but a much better tactical sandbox imo
Good game, I'm still playing it.
40:00 IS THAT JACKIE WELLS!?!
The complaint of all time
Not worth 5$ lmao
It’s definitely worth it, you can still sync shots with your team and have them take out whoever you want, on top of that your team also can’t get detected until you are so you can still do missions silently. You can have them rally on you, you can order them to fire/hold. This game is one of the best 3rd person shooters
This is one of the dumbest takes I think I've ever seen on the internet.
@@PugsNotDrugs4 one of THE dumbest, yet I didn’t say anything that wasn’t true, lol what an over exaggerating little baby.
I love the predator cameo. Was so cool with the music and sounds and everything.
The first ubisoft open world third person shooter*
Not much "ghost recon" left in this series
calling the 1999 suburban, a bronco, is not something I thought would bother me lmao. W video Drewski!
1 view in 17 seconds major fall off
fall off needs to be studied
RUclips doesn't even update it's view count in 17 seconds... don't think people understand how RUclips works like when they put first and don't realise hundreds of people have already viewed and commented but RUclips hasn't had time to update yet
Ubisoft's Uno and Monopoly also had this "change microphone volume globally" issue. Sometimes big studios make indie game dev level mistakes
I really appreciate the ghost war gameplay. Looks like the comedy of the game goes a long way when fighting friends!
38:32 that is a 90's suburban you absolute HEATHENS
One of the best game of all time.
I love Wildlands and Breakpoint so much
The next open-world GR should combine the environments of Wildlands and the gunplay of Breakpoint, that would be the perfect GR game for me (and without the, at times, mind-numbing repetition)
If they had the real open world of dayz with these graphics you would have one hell of a game
You & your friends are so amusing I love this video I had to subscribe to your channel and gave it a 💯 like you guys are so cool
I'm not a big gamer but I completed this game twice. It was both fun and therapeutic, loved the Bolivia setting and variety of places.
Wildlands is the first game of it's kind that I enjoyed so much I completely finished the game to %100. It was so much fun and addictive. I enjoyed the video thanks
Bro posted right before breakfast u goated fr
This game is a certified classic. I played this game on PC using my xbox controller, and I could only play it that way because the deadzone aiming was somewhat easier.
I got Breakpoint on the sale for $9 AUD... wasn't sure which to start with but so far I don't hate Breakpoint. I'd be a bit disappointed if I'd paid the full price which is $89.
PVP still very full on PS5 and XBOX if anyone wants to try this whole game is unreal!
Barely on Xbox
GR Wildlands was one of my favorite shooter games ever, mostly because I was a child, though.
Remember playing this game a tons when I was finishing elementary school, 6th grade... Nostalgia hits like a truck now that im 20 years old seing you revisiting It.
Game is awesome. Even better with the first person mod.
