"The warlord, Ratchet" is the funniest thing Megatron says in the show I swear. His entire speech about the evil Autobots destroying Cybertron as well as his line about why they're called Decepticons is sooo good. I love when the writers remind us that Megatron is supposed to be super charismatic and have good oratory skills. He can just lie on the spot and he comes up with absolute bangers. This isn't even the only time we see him do this, but I believe it's his best.
"Another craven Autobot scare tactic. The name was meant to demonize us. Instead, we wear it as a badge of honor, for if speaking the truth is deception, then we are gladly guilty." Actually one of my favorite Megatron lines from the shows. Even if he made it up, there's weirdly some truth to it.
14:08- It would've been too obvious to Megatron suspecting that Optimus Prime would give Arcee, Bumblebee or Ratchet that keycard, so giving Jack the key to Vector Sigma would be something that the Decepticon wouldn't expect.
Oh I think Megatron is Fully aware of Airachnid's attempted takeover with that line "Nothing happens aboard this ship without ky knowledge. You would do well to remember that Airachnid." cause Soundeave does inform him off screen like how he knew all the things he listed Starscream was up to in the cave, Soundwave's tabs on everyone And you can tell Optimus made the right call giving the key to Jack cause he's the only one who's level headed and is thinking clearly while the other Bots are freaking out and arguing without Optimus leading them Also Soundwave just Smooth with that Ground Bridge AND STARSCREAM'S BACK BABY
10:00 Megatron strongly hinted to Airachnid that he was made aware of the incident (2:29). Evidently he let it slide either because she yielded to Soundwave and/or because Airachnid’s argument for abandoning earth wasn’t entirely unsound at the time.
"Another craven autobot scare tactic the name was meant to demonize us. Instead, we wear it as a badge of honor, for if speaking the truth is deception, then we are gladly guilty." That is honestly my favorite megatron quote from any version of the character throughout the franchise
In the "One Shall Fall" episode, Ratchet says that Jack was like Orion Pax (both of them believing they are normal people who don't deserve anything special). Optimus likely gave Jack the keycard because Jack reminds him of himself when he was younger.
7:50 notice how with optimus gone suddenly jack is the level headed one ending internal conflicts and making a plan... that's what optimus saw when he chose him... i think he saw jack had the makings of what a primus seeks
Soundwave is definitely incredibly OP in this show, but he is also more mysterious than other iterations of SW because the showrunners gave him an extremely powerful set of abilities but held him back continously in the writing. For example, after episode 5 a being like Soundwave could totally find the Autobots' human allies on the internet in days if not hours and accelerated a major plotline earlier. So why didnt he? He could have killed the youngin's back in episode 5 as well. But didnt. Among many other little observations throughout the show. Canonically he is loyal to the Decepticon cause but many fans cant help but wonder at how complicated that loyalty is because of the inconsistencies from the writing. Its like, "I know this is a kid's show so the writers have to pull their punches sometimes but lbr these kids should be dead by now."
For some reason i like the conversation team prime had at the end because its shows how depressed they are about losing Optimus but each person jumps in the conversation so naturally and it sets up their game plan to save Optimus being a really effective use of dialogue standing out for me as my favorite scene of the episode.
Megatron knows what Airachnid tried, he mentions how nothing happens on the Nemesis without him knowing, because of Soundwave while specifically addressing her. As for why, at least for now, he is not doing something about it? He had Starscream as his second in command for centuries, a would be usurper is of no concern to him, so long as they remain useful.
While Orion does not remember, he kind of has good intuition, and remains wary of Megatron and the whole situation. Also let's not forget that Orion goes trough a huge shock, seeing their planet destroyed, their society in ruins, their species decimated. Memories or not he is not the naive little librarian he started his journey out as. Also Megatron's explanation of why they're called Decepticons actually makes sense, since this exact same thing happened in real world history a ton of times. The one instance that comes to mymind is the history of the name Ipressionism. It was actually used as an offesnsive descriptionof the new painting style invented by journalists, trying to make the new style appear in a bad light. The Impressionist artists just took the name, and rolled with it, wearing it with pride. The key was given to Jack because only a Prime can use it. Jack is Prime adjacent, even tho he will never be able to become a Prime , since he is human. (Only people with a certain set of internal qualities/character can be chosen) B is still a scout because Optimus thinks he is not ready for the responsability to be a warrior (since is quite young as far as Cybetronians go).
Always love seeing the key to Vector Sigma to make a return in Transformers lore. Granted, Transformers Prime just turned 14, 4 days ago, and Transformers transformed to age 40, three months ago, Vector Sigma has really been left out of the franchise. While nowhere near as powerful as the Matrix of Leadership, Vector Sigma has always had equal importance. But then again, Transformers Prime does literally everything right. I wish it got a fourth season, but Hasbro, I feel, has been missing out so much on their biggest property on how vital it is. Season 2 will keep getting better.
Lots to unpack from the massive S1 finale. I like how Megatron adopted the nickname Ratchet gave himself when he was hopped up on Synth-En and trying to murder him- 'The Doctor of Doom'. And perhaps there is a gram of truth in his rationale of the name 'Decepticon'. Clearly on some level, Megatron believes all that he is doing and all that he has done is justified.
a great start to season 2 seeing everyone react to orian/Optimus working with the cons was great and star scream was as good as ever and if your wondering why Optimus gave jack the vector sigma key card was because one Megatron would never suspect it because all cons look down on us humans and 2 because Optimus saw a lot of himself in jack and 3 its because he is the closest guy in the show to sam from the movies difference is people like jack and sam is hated also that moment with Arcee in the Artic is a call back to scrap heap where she and Optimus were stuck there plus she was angry because she couldn't find Optimus on the ship non the less great episode I figure we will find a way to get Optimus back just need one of Tony Starks patented reeks of desperation Hail Mary plans in order to get out of this mess witch is what jacks plan is and question is if it will go as well as one of Starks plans lets wait and see

Absolutely, yeah!
Yeah. He pretty much does something similar with Predaking.

There is no truth to it at all. Megatron is lying the entire time he spoke that, and he knows it.

Better than Sam Witwicky

soundwave is a true menace
💯

6:58 that’s why Soundwave is the MVP of the Decepticons!
Soundwave Superior, Arcee Inferior
If there was a problem, he can solve it
Ice, ice, baby

4:50, and that was the last we saw of Sierra.
Yup
Sadge 😢, bisexual queen
Trust Megatron's plan to be ruined by Starscream.

Unlike many, i believe this is the best season
This IS the best one! Who says otherwise!?
Not an unpopular opinion lol
It's down to this one or S3, and this one is twice the length.
nope i agree except the finale is absymal to say the least setting up the last season for failure.
Do you have a patreon? I would love to see the full length reactions to this show.
I can’t wait until you get to the series finale it’s so freaking good
The whole season is 💯
Sweet
Hi, I have a question, if I subscribe Will the member of your channel have access to the Ben 10 Omniverse videos sooner? If so, until which episode?
Once again, June is being very annoying
to be fair though... would you let your son go to a post apocalyptic cybertron
@@Tm-dn9ob While it wouldn't be my first choice, at least I'd recognize that there's no other choice and trust him
