- I was driving home from our holiday (vacation) when I saw this amazing gentleman carrying a cross.

the sad reality is that he never died on a cross but on a standard upright stake and the cross is a pagan symbol that existed in numerous ancient cultures..... look into old bible manuscripts u wont find the word anywhere. it was inserted into translations much later on. a very sad reality. in fact many other words commonly associated with christianity are pagan as well such as god, lord, church, bible, easter.... everything has messed up dark origins. even the supposed name of the messiah "jesus." jeremiah 16:19 says our fathers have inherited nothing but lies
but dont worry... Yahuah will forgive his people for their ignorance. only make sure to be the best human u can be and make good use of the knowledge u have

@@2l84me8 Fear of God is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. God is Good. Jesus is Good. God is Salvation. Jesus is Salvation. Someone like Adolf Hitler and the nazis who perpetuated the reich/holocaust did not Fear God or understand him. They are going to be tortured forever and Jesus won't "have to" do that or be upset about that happening. If you want to go the way of Hitler, then that's your decision to make. By the Grace of God you have free will. If you want to go the way of those who Know, then repent and accept salvation.

@@2l84me8no, we believe in Jesus so that we can accept his ultimate sacrifice and go through judgement with him rather than without him. That our sin can be saved by our acceptance of grace, through grace alone, rather than denying him and his grace. We will be judged, and with forgiveness of our sins by allowing Jesus to take our place we are forgiven rather than rightfully judged and punished... as we should be.
Jesus doesn't torture us, but if we don't have a relationship and accept his offering to die for us he lets us die, be judged for our sins, and be punished for them.
God is the ultimate judge and the ultimate loving father. If we have our sins forgiven we have been saved from that judgement, but if we don't, he will be the ultimate fair judge who desires justice, and we will have to atone for our sins ourselves

Carrying a wooden cross does not make you a disciple.
He could carry that cross around the world 10 times and never know God.
What did he say that makes you think he is a disciple?
Look at his face, the radiant glory of God shining out from him. Five minutes talking to Lyndsay anywhere will convince you that he has met the living saviour and lives at his feet. Carrying the cross is not the sign you are looking for. Passion and zeal emanates from him, that's what gives it away.

He was diagnosed at one point with multiple brain aneurisms, but kept going. His son also carried the cross !
