I love all these tips! I used to be so shy and meek when I was younger, but once I started to pay greater attention to my style and the style of people I wanted to be, I felt so much more confident because I looked like how I wanted to look. So much of confidence can come from self-care, and style is just one aspect of that!

I've just discovered your channel and I've fallen in love with your style and your personality! I'd love to see a video where you explain what things to tailor, I've started taking old clothes that I didn't like the fit of to get them fixed rather than buy new things. I also try to buy second hand, so these tips would come in really handy!!
I understand the sentiment behind this video and think it’s sweet, and at the same time I have a different opinion. I don’t like to attach my confidence to material goods (like jewelry, nail polish, perfume, etc.) because if you lose access to those, does that mean you can no longer be confident?? I do like your tips on posture and health. But really, my confidence comes from mindset and from within. That’s how I prefer it. That’s not to say that I don’t like slapping on a red lipstick once in a while!
Yep that's that I prefaced at the very beginning of the video that there are many different ways to gain confidence and recommended a book I've read on them. Since I focus mainly on fashion and beauty on this channel, I wanted to stick to more on those types. 🙂
Dearly Bethany I know, I totally understand your intentions. At the same time, you’re inspiring to so many young people that I can’t help but worry they’ll just start running around feeling like shit about themselves when they get a chip in their nail polish. There are very good tips! And the nails, omg, I'm the kind of person who has perfect them perfect for 24 hours max and then they start chipping. 2 weeks ago I got my first gel manicure (in a healthy spot in LA, where they use less toxic products and methods) and it's still perfect!!!! About tailoring, I just bought a sewing machine and next week I'm going to hem some denim and probably trying to make a pair of straight black jeans into skinny... wish me luck!
