Yes I can't wait to see this onestly don't know who will win but I think Darth Bane has the advantages in this battle
Edit : Yeah I can see how Obi wan would win this fight but I would take it from a 7/10 to 6/10 but that's maybe just me. But this was for me the best Versus Video you have done so far, a really great Video.

I'm just saying if Darth Bane was wearing his Orbelisk armor, Obi Wan probably would not win.
Since the armor not only boosted Bane's already impressive physical attributes, it also granted him a healing factor and amplified his affinity to the Dark Side of the Force.
Plus it basically made Bane impervious to lightsaber attacks do to the durability of the Orbelisk's shell.

Bane would win in My opinion because kenobi has a weak force barrier. It would be a good fight tho they are matched up well

@@397llederson6 probably. but there are certainly better Djem So duelists out there. If Dooku had the chance to see Kyle Katarn, Luke Skywalker, or even Vader, he would dismiss Anakin as a little boy that he is.

Luke Skywalker made Yoda a little boy sooo and Vader would be too slow and lose to Dooku most of the time so yeah no Anakin's statement stands as he is stated above Bane, Ulic Qel Droma, Mace's form 5, Yoda's form 5 and Plo Koon plus plenty of other Form 5 specialist

Kenobi stronger than bane come on. I give Kenobi the speed advantage. But not strength.
Perhaps, but Bane would join a long list of enemies Kenobi has with greater strength than him:
-Anakin/Vader, Darth Maul, General Grevious’s cyborg strength, even Durge the Gen’dai.
Even when Kenobi was a Padawan his master was a strength-focus power duelist and Kenobi sparred with Plo Koon at least once. Plo and Jinn were THE premier strength-focused swordsmen of the pre-Clone Wars era, and Kenobi learned duelling as a Padawan from them.
Bane’s strength advantage over Kenobi against a resume this long doesn’t carry that much impact on a fight between them.
I don't think Obi Wan would win or even press Bane into such a desperate measure or attempt. Bane is not that foolish to do something like Essence Transfer.
You have completely misunderstood Banes physical attributes on his darkside degradation to which it hasn't really hampered him in a fight even in his last fight he didn't just simply gas out or degrade. Its such a cop-out on physicality (if anything niether really brings much to the table that can lead to a superior verdict)
And his dueling skills? I guess his duel on Tython wasn't a good enough showing of his skills especially with his offensive or ability to handle or keep Raksta and friends at bay.
And his DOE is an even greater swordfighter as Bane is much smarter and can't just dart forward. I cant see myself putting Obi Wan above Bane they are more or less equals if it was a pure saber fight. (point still sees them as equals maybe Obi Wan by a margin)
What really kills this fight was how you neglected Banes ability to integrate his force abilities in this fight. Once he realizes he can't break his defenses he can and will lash out with his force abilities like he did in his "20 somethings" Jesus. Obi Wan force wise has demonstrated to have his force barrier broken multiple times throughout TCW. Dooku and Ventress come to mind. Bane is easily in Dooku's league.
Yeah if Bane doesn't bring his force abilties into this I can Obi Wan winning but barely scrapping by, but 7/10 Obi Wan with everything? I haven't even gotten into how great Darth Bane was as a strategic warrior before his induction into the Sith Academy.
This was extremely disappointing as Darth Bane is far more experienced and skilled and physically more than your letting on. Even after taking time to rewatch and review my own knowledge I have a hard time putting Obi Wan over Bane due to the fact that Obi Wans weakness is his force barrier that Bane will break if he cannot beat him in sabers.
Bane's dueling feats are against people who don't have to their name except for hype while Obi-wan has beaten much more impressive opponents for example Dooku for example said Anakin was the best djem so duelist of all time
Bane is not in Dooku's league though literally Dooku is considered to be close to being above Bane
@@397llederson6 someone's been too much into the film/prequel era. Before I even get started. How much have you read in general SW lore? How deep have you went?
@@dreaddark2861 I have read the entire bane trilogy, read labyrint of evil, read ROTS novel and a few other novels. I know at least from the first sith up until the rule of one so yes I am very deep into the lore. Dooku again scales to people way above Bane Yoda and Palpatine are both much stronger than Bane
@@397llederson6 What about comics, lore books, an understanding of the timeliness. Because Dooku vs Bane is debatable a case can be argued for both.
My only real contention with Obi Aan vs Bane is for one he knows form 3 very well, especially if Zannah is damn near impenetrable that's a good showing. So sabers is hard for me.
However Banes force powers is more than enough to break Obi Wans force wall, being the thinker Bane is he would figure that out fast and tk him.

Obi-wan knows form 5 inside and out though as well. Also Dooku declares Anakin's djem so is the best he has ever scene that would include Bane as well since he knows about Bane yet Anakin couldn't beat Obi-wan's soresu. Also Zannah's is impenetrable but Mace says Obi-wan is the true master of it not to mention being impenetrable is something many soresu duelist can say
Yes he would figure that out but do you think Bane is stronger than Anakin who couldn't do that? Not to mention Asajj and Dooku have feats scaling above Bane like Asajj rivaling council members since the start of the war and Dooku's tk being so great Yoda couldn't overwhelm it
