Overwhelmingly heavenly! I would be dizzy with joy being amongst all those orchids :) Thanks for sharing - nothing like this in my country - nice to live vicariously.
It's really overwhelming to walk into a nursery with blooms everywhere and wall to wall orchids, I'm definitely going back soon because it's so close (40 min drive)
Thanks for taking us along on your trip to Palmers. Makes me wish I lived in Florida. Your orchids you bought are gorgeous. I guess I could always order, maybe when the weather gets a little cooler. 🥰🤗
Now a bunch of beauties. They will brighten up your poly tunnel. Especially the Vanda. Thank you for taking me on your visit to Palmer and Have a great day.
Wow, how could you possibly pick an orchid. So many beautiful ones to pick from. Enjoyed the fun trip to Palmer's Nursery. Thank you for sharing. And the orchids you chose. Enjoy!
very nice! great tour and great haul. That's exactly the sanderiana blooms that I would like to get, the color and the shape. Its lucky that you could get it in bloom, so you know how the flowers look, no surprises...
Enjoyed the visit to Palmer's with you. That's such a lovely orchid nursery. So glad I visited with you virtually as a real time visit would be detrimental to my health. (I'd want to buy too many....LOL) You made some nice selections for your collection. Thanks for taking us along.
Thanks for your bravery to even step foot out of your house in Florida! If I had a nursery like this near me maybe I’d risk life and limb to see it too❤️
Palmer's is a wonderful place , the quality is above and beyond ❣ Ashley has even emailed me options of the actual plants to choose from, they always treat me VERY WELL❣ And I agree with a prior post......Todd, you are just as bad as tbe rest of us, lmaooooo I hope you enjoyed yourself and thanks for taking us along!!!😊👏
Looks like a fun place to visit, but they have so many not for sale orchids, what’s up with that ? You got yourself some gorgeous ones, waiting for the blooms on Bev. Thank you for taking us along. Enjoy your new additions.
man, i would go GAGA in this place . . . a trip to Orchid Heaven; thanks for bringing us along. Glad you got that Sanderiana. Gonna put this show in my "meds" playlist.
@@toddstropicals it does sound funny doesn't it . . . that's another great thing about RUclips; we can save & store the videos for later. Meds means my meditation shows; good medicine; flowers are some of the best meds, as you know! Thanks again. Love your stuff.
Ohh All those Holey Clay Pots ! Wish I could find some locally. *LOVE* your new sanderiana. but... I haven't had much luck keeping sanderiana albas alive :'( I killed 2.. aarrgghh. Thanks for making me drool.
That Cattleya is insanely beautiful. The whole video in fact is total gorgeousness, had to watch it twice! And I adore that Mimi Palmer, SHE goes on my bucket list. I just happened to buy my very own, unbloomed sanderiana , any special tip I should be aware of? Thank you for that scrumptious video!
Wow Todd, it looked like you had the Candy Store all to yourselves. I am due for a visit to Palmer's. At 3:46, how could you have left that candy behind? I love your selection and many more. Wonderful video ❣
Wow what a wonderful tour of Palmer! As many have said, not too many places in North America where this kind of growth is possible. I'm always partial to the vandas, totally jaw dropping! Cattleyas that are small for you are large for me! I think you exercised good restraint. There go my life savings if I step in there. Really nice purchases. I hope my sanderiana will be as nice as yours! Cattleya has stunning contrast. Wish i could smell it. So vanda Merrilii smells like sweet plastic? What does Mimi Palmer and MV Tannins smell like? Orchideya has an MV Tannins. I have a Mimi Palmer keiki years away from blooming. Thanks for the tour!
MV tannins is sweet jasmine like and tessellata is sweet candy like grapey scent. Oh the ones I got are compact growers specifically why I got them and both are fragrant, I have more small cattleya arriving tomorrow. Cheers & happy growing!
@@toddstropicals Thanks for the description of vanda fragrance. I forgot to ask, is the sanderiana scented? I thought I read that they can be scented sometimes.
Beautiful tour! I think... my fantastically named denisoniana ‘Dark Chocolate Star’ is actually a merrillii ... now that I seen it in this video and when you mentioned sweet plastic fragrance, my ears and eyes peeled up... went to check it on bluenanta and compared my blooms... I think Olympus1975 on eBay has another pulled from the hat name! I love your newcomers! 🤩
Todd's Tropicals that’s possible ... no way of being 100% sure ... but when you mentioned the fragrance, I went ‘hey now’ there’s not many vandas with that fragrance .. it’s not totally unpleasant, but in a way it’s not one i would consider an awesome fragrance either
They're prices vary from not too expensive around $25-30 to $100+ depending on what you want, how big, and how rare it is. And of course all the stuff I want isn't for sale!
@@toddstropicals I am new at this (i have for sometime had a few orchids but no longer work & was in awe when i had about 8 blooming at one time) & was watching the videos learning & seeing where to go purchase reasonable orchids, how to care for them & propagate them to grow more amongst other things. Thanks. I could have gotten more but I didn't want to be greedy.
Thanks for the ride! Beautiful blooms and very healthy looking plants. I'm sure they'll thrive in your care 😊✌
Thanks, I hope they thrive! Some don't!
Amazing! That place is a dream! Like u said HEAVEN! Thanks for sharing thanks for taking me with u!

I still spent over $100!
Really enjoyed this video Todd, what an amazing place, loved the encyclias and that spotted cattleya, just amazing!!!
Yeah the spotted cattleya was tempting to buy!
Man I’d love to walk around those greenhouses. Great video as always
Thank you, and thanks for watching too!
Wow that was quite the place with many orchids ! The ones you brought home are really nice 👌👌
Yeah hazardous to my bank account!

Well we do with caution and take safe measures. It's getting pretty scary here. Palmer's is awesome can't say enough good things about them.
What a wonderful place . I would be there all day , as well as going broke ,lol. Thank you for sharing Todd.
We'll I have orchids coming in also, I just mainly wanted to get out of the house a bit I've been cooped up too long.
Wow, wow, that is orchid paradise, I could get lost in there for a week. Such beauty!!! Very Nice choices, Todd 😍
I could have stayed longer but my hunger and wallet said NO... Lol
Thanks for taking us along for the tour. That cattleya at the 3:50 mark! :O Great haul as well :)
Now I have to watch and see which one....
Ahh the spotted cattleya!!! Many liked that one! Didn't look at the name.

Enjoyed the look round Todd.....we have nothing remotely like this in the UK. All the plants especially the cattleyas were beautiful.

I was thinking about you when I was looking as the Cattleyas.
Todd
Wow orchid garden
Gorgeous plants!
Thank you JoAnn, Hope they grow well!
Pretty things at Palmer's! Nice haul!
Thanks, got so many Vandas now I needed to balance things out with a few cattleya 😁
Absolutely beautiful!!!!!!!!!
Very cool! I miss being able to go to commercial nurseries on a whim!
The downfall here was everything I really wanted wasn't for sale!
Todd's Tropicals Ha! That’s always frustrating!
That Cattleya violacea coerulea had me drooling!

Now, see, I'd have gotten the white vanda with the pink/purple lip @10:40 (Crownfox Magic?). I'm a basic Betty.
Trust me I had my eye on that one too but I wanted a sanderiana and the price was right!

Unfortunately no, it's not can't have it all I guess... Lol
@@toddstropicals
Try at different times of the day. Sometimes there is just a small window of fragrance.
Wow woooo.....Nice
Pretty cool isn't it.
Why are they not for sale? I’ve never been to an orchid nursery?
It can be various reasons like stud plants for breeding, personal plants, or it may be sold even, I didn't ask so it could be any number of reasons.

at 2.54ish, what was the name of that? I have it and apparently lost tbe tag🙄 please?
