You DO know people's values change right? I wanted a big career and the WHOLE shebang when I was younger. I was even in 2 relationships where I was the breadwinner, along with 4 kids. And they were abusive relationships. When I got with my current husband I SWORE I wouldn't give up my career. Guess what? I'm now I'm a SAHM. My husband is a very well paid mechanic and we just had our 5th child. He did not ask me to quite my job or anything like that, and yes my youngest was planned. You know what's funny? I feel MORE fulfilled now then I EVER did in my career. My husband has supported me through mine and my 4 eldest kids healing process, to the point they all call him dad. As people get older, and/or relationships change we learn and tend to have a change in values. I did when I met my current husband. It took ALOT to allow someone to care for me and give up the reigns. Taking a leave of absence for 2 months was part of my therapy and I found out I was so much happier being around my family and being more hands on with my kids. I WANTED to get up in the morning. I WANTED to be here. When I went back to work I felt so empty. So now I'm a SAHM. However I do plan to go back to work when my youngest graduates HS. So I keep up my education and certifications. IF I decide to work again before then, which I may have to do in this economy, I'm taking classes so I can work from home.
I would have to fight the urge to challenge Janet to a duel for all of the crud she has been saying about Olivia and Ivy. ETA: And Janet decided to be an idiot and catch herself a felony case. Damn it, Janet, you're a felon now.
Husband should have put mother in her place long time ago. I know as the wife, my limit would have been when I found the two grand kids being treated different.
I'd have cut out that evil MIL the MOMENT she changed her attitude when she heard Ivy was famous. While it was traumatic when she kidnapped Ivy, maybe it was for the best thing to happen bc they were able to legal remove MIL from their lives. And since Ivy was so young, hopefully she won't remember anything about it. Even if they'd cut MIL out of their lives before Ivy's fame, MIL might've found out later & tried to kidnap her in a way in which they didn't know who was to blame nor able to be found so quickly.
Isaac made a bad choice. As soon as Olivia said no he should have left. He is just getting problems in the end with that woman. By the way....you can get married and wait with kids and work on a career.
Getting married because your mother says so or getting married because all your friends are getting married, is not the best reason to get married. Being pushed into a marriage can later result in being resentful. Listen to what everybody says, but in the end you two have to make the decision.

Yeah, I'm nitpicking, but so many of the channels that do these text videos mess up alotta wording. It's finally starting to irk me a bit.
We get it MIL sucks Ivy eats super well We're not dead horses you need to beat over and over for us to get such simple concepts Then the BIGGEST action points of the story just gets told through summary at the end?! Instead of being a summary, that should have been fleshed out and time spent on it instead of repeating over and over the MIL nasty attitude and how good an eater Ivy is. Would have been a MUCH better use of time! Honestly screw these long stories with such cruddy pacing and writing choices. I'm skipping ALL of them from now on Too long and too much repetition.
