The back up singing is what bands don't do now days. It's a super high standard to play a Beatle song. The lead singer uses vibrato in her singing. The Beatles never did that. Add vibrato and the song immediately suffers.
@@michaelblankenau6598 No I was in a Beatle trib band for years and I had to learn not to use vibrato. It's weird to do and not natural at all for Americans.
@@michaelblankenau6598 It's a fact I didn't know back in 2001. I was in a Beatle Tribute band and no matter how hard I tried, the singing ended up sounding like this. The guitar player said, "I know why this is vocally off." I said , why?" He said take the vibrato out and it will sound much closer to the record. I said, ok. It was awkward to sing without vibrato, but I learned how. The guitar player explained to me that the Beatles just didn't use it. I didn't know as an American how to sing without vibrato. Everytime I practices on not using it, the song sounded much better and like the record. So, it is a fact that I did not discover on my own. It had to be shown to me. It is hiding in plain sight.
@@orangeandslinky You assume that everyone wants to hear it like you do . Perhaps that’s where you’re wrong . And based on the praise the vocalist gets in the comments that’s a pretty safe bet .
Where is it written that a cover band has to sound EXACTLY like the original ? Seems like a ridiculous standard . Especially when some covers are clearly better than the original.
One of my favorite songs on The White Album You guys did a great job on it.
Yes. Great work!
Yeah. This song really hit me later on. The piano, I think.
John Lennon is hard to cover on songs like this. But this lady is dynamite! And incredible band too!

@@orangeandslinky You claim that the song immediately ‘ suffers’ if the vocalist uses vibrato . That seems more like an opinion than actual fact .
