It's one of Sidney's best quotes. It's definitely one of my favorites. Neve has really impressed me with her acting, and that's why I'm a fan of hers. I like Neve's acting slightly more than Courtney's.
I enjoyed your take on the best and the worst scenes in Scream 5. I hadn't realized it was the anniversary until you mentioned it. I liked the relationship between Sam and Tara. Having a younger sister myself that I would kill and die for. I felt like their relationship conflicts and motivations were far superior in Scream 5 than in Scream 6. Same with most of the characters, including the other siblings like Chad and Mindy.
Whenever scream 7 releases you should make a "come with me” type of video where you show us your go to movie theater snacks, predictions before the movie, and overall thoughts of it after the movie(:
I'm happy to see Mikey Madison having one hell of a year with the success and praise she's getting for her performance in the film "Anora." Before, I remember thinking, "Hopefully, someone will give this girl a break cause it would be there shits to be that one girl who gets beat the shit out of in Scream 5 and Once Upon a Time In Hollywood."
I think Scream 5 has high highs and low lows. Sidney, Dewey & Gale and their *limited* interactions were incredible, particularly the last scene between Gale & Dewey before his death. Killing off Dewey is not ok. I really enjoyed Mindy & Chad in this film, with Scream 6 really creating a soft spot for Sam & Tara. Overall, Scream 5 brought our fav horror franchise back into being an active franchise, being back on the big screen and I think we can celebrate it ushering in the new Scream era of the 20's.
@ I think what compounded it was the way they had Gale just move on with another guy in 6. I felt we were robbed of how Gale really felt losing Dewey because the focus was on the Core 4.
Agree with you that Scream 5 has aged much better than Scream VI. It's all about the characters and killer mystery. I don't really get the beef with Liv though. She's a useless character sure, but not one that ever bothered me personally.
@ That's a good point. Her character is just an example of the overall issues with how the murder mystery is written in Scream 5, as you outlined in your video. For me personally, I find Liv so forgettable that she doesn't really bother me. To each their own though!
I agree - I think Scream 5 has definitely aged a lot better then Scream 6. At first, I was a little underwhelmed at how predictable everything was because a lot of it was in the trailer, but now I appreciate how it did resemble the Scream franchise in setting, tropes and bringing back the OG 3 one final time together. At times Scream 6 feels like a fan fiction movie in a way like Scream 3 was in a different setting.
I definitely agree that Scream 5 has aged much better than Scream VI and is the superior Radio Silence Scream film. Scream VI felt more like an unofficial Stab film. With Scream 5 and the discourse and toxicity happening on Scream Twitter, its commentary has aged like fine wine-unfortunately. Vince should have been kept alive to serve as a red herring and for Richie and Amber to frame as Sam’s accomplice. My Top 5 Scenes: 1. Sidney and Gale vs. Amber 2. Tara’s opening attack 3. Dewey and Gale’s reunion 4. Amber’s reveal 5. Wes and Judy’s murders My Bottom 5 Scenes: 1. Sam’s monologue to Tara about being Billy Loomis’s daughter 2. Sam’s attack in the hospital 3. Amber and Mindy’s confrontation in the basement 4. Chad’s attack 5. Richie’s reveal
I find basically all scenes very uninspired... there is no real new exciting setpieces in 5. I thought the Billy Loomis hallucinations were an absolute joke. No wonder Melissa couldn't act it out. I cut him out as much as I could. Such phoned in fanservice. Visions and dreams don't belong in Scream. I also think it was disappointing they deleted Judy's scene with Dewey at the station. Now they don't have any scene together in the film. I put it back in the film. Scream 6 has a way more exciting vibe than 5. Much better setpieces. I hate Ghostface talking when he is not on the phone. It feels so unnatural done after the fact. Jack Quaid wasn't a good killer reveal wise. I find him dull, just like this entire film. With Charlie and Robbie I believed they were Stab fans, here Richie just has to tell us he is... I don't feel it. Judy & Wes' kills were good, it was heartbreaking butttt in the script it's a bit better with the locked away gun in the floor. Amber's revival after being lit on fire could have been exciting but was treated as a joke. Jenna is a good actress but that whole openingscene was so bland... if you are going to do a 5th movie in a franchise bring something more exciting. I guess I don't like 5 very much.
Scream 5 is definitely better than Scream 6. The killers are more brutal and the movie has higher stakes. The motive was good as well. You can't go wrong with Toxic Fandom. Unlike Scream 6, they just copied Scream 2's motive, which is lazy writing. Pluse, there were less stakes. Nobody died.
Sidney setting Amber on fire with the hand sanitizer was badass. And her quote Enjoy that Torch was iconic.
@@billymoore7182 oh hell yeah! The torch line was top tier, one of my favs in the movie

been following you on tik tok for a hot min and now i’m glad we get longer content!!!!
Thank you so much! Excited to create
the third act is SO good
Literally makes the movie tbh
@ welcome to act 3 🙂↕️
For me one of my favorite scenes from Scream 5 was Act 3 of the film with Amber Freeman played by Mikey Madison saying “Welcome to act 3”

They should never killed off Dewey
I’m ok with Dewey being killed…but think it could’ve been done better.
Agreed. Still not happy with the decision to do this.
Why not? Scream should be about stakes. Been a fan since the first came out but he had it coming.
@ because he made it through four films and he was a fan favorite
@@Doglover79586 but he was overall pretty useless to the plot

Pretty much agree on all fronts! I was OK with losing Dewey, but not the way he went out. I miss him 😭

i really liked scream 5, it was the first scream movie i saw and it made me love horror movies and movies in general. really special movie. great vid!
Glad you liked it!

I don't really get the beef with Liv though. She's a useless character sure, but not one that ever bothered me personally.
I guess Liv was made soley to be a red herring? "Too boring to be a killer"
This is basically what bothers me about her character - I don’t think any character should exist for the sole purpose of being a red herring.
@ That's a good point. Her character is just an example of the overall issues with how the murder mystery is written in Scream 5, as you outlined in your video. For me personally, I find Liv so forgettable that she doesn't really bother me. To each their own though!
@@JaceTalksMedia even Vince was made just to be a red herring, except he is killed off so early that it basically doesnt feel impactful.
