Born in 2006. I miss the 2010s. For some strange reason the 2010s to me seem like one of humanity's most peaceful times (not sure if anyone else felt the same)
I feel the exact same way, I don’t know if we’re just older now but I know definitely when my brothers were 17 they seemed like they were having a vibe in highschool now that I’m 17 in highschool I didnt even get one experience like theirs, they were in highschool from 2016 to 2020 and that era was unmatched I don’t want to be in highschool now we were robbed
That might be because you spent half of that decade being below 10 years old lol. We were all younger then , a lot of us just in our teens with the biggest worries being about what homework we needed to hand in or what tests it was we were studying for.
Old youtube really was the best. Literally just pure comedy. I remember coming home from school watching some filthy frank or smosh and then going outside with my friends and just playing around without a care in the world. So many good memories.
Ikr I was born in late 2006. Some of my nostalgia of games are Lego Batman 2, Lego star wars 3, spider man web of shadows, we had some of the best toys, I used to collect hero factory, DC classics and marvel legends. My nostalgia for music would be rock that body, paper planes, I'm so fancy, mine craft the hero brine song, enchanted, living tombstone five nights at Freddy's, can't hold us, halo amv's. My favorite cartoons were ben 10 alien force, adventure time, Regular show. I remember I used to come home from school and my dad would take me and my brothers to the park to play basketball. The 2010's we're heaven. Now days I don't know what these little ones doing they will never know what a true child hood was like. Back in my days we didn't have TikTok we had vine.
i was born in 2005 and i think it just get worse and worse after 2015 and after avengers endgame released, our entire generation had fallen into darkness. i’m not a marvel fan rn and i miss those times man not just because of marvel but, even the air smelled different back then yk i’m sayin. y’all probably think i’m stupid for writing this but i’m watching these videos till i sleep or cry my eyes out. my life isn’t completely bad rn but idk man i missed so fuckin much the 2010’s musics, football, ice creams, fashion, i even missed the mc donalds happy meal toys man.
Im a 2002 baby and 2009 to 2015 was the best years of my life in terms of nostalgia and fun memories tbh. Now it’s just worrying about bills, inflation, stress from work, etc. I just miss the days of playing my 3DS and Xbox and trading sillybandz on the school bus.
@@Yonaqusf every generation is gonna want to know what the last one was like I still wonder what it’s like live through the 90s. All I know is the early 2000s reminded you of the 90s but it had its own vibe and then iPhones and flat screen tvs became normal and here we are. I was playing ps2 or 3 around when you were born
Playing outside with my brother is what got me into roleplaying games. Fr we would have whole story lines to pick up on the next day we got to play. best 2-5 years of my life.
Me and my brother had a hard time keeping up with the number of characters we made up, so we had to write down a bunch of names on a page in my brother's room. It's funny looking back on that piece of paper because there were some wacky names.
I think the reason our generation is so obsessed with time is because we are so easily able and exposed to the past with the internet. We have HD pictures and videos of things that we saw 10-15 years ago. All you had were memories back in the day and you’d have to try hard to remember. Now we are constantly seeing what we had in the past so it’s like we can’t let it go. It sucks honestly. Blessing and a curse
Well, I'm going to be the odd one out here and say that I'm glad that we have pictures and information of stuff from the past at our disposal. It actually makes it easier to remember because we have actual physical and visual proof of what the times were like.
No, I can assure that this isn't the case. People from all eras have a strong yearning for their pasts and nostalgia. There is science devoted to this area as well.
FR!!!! 2003 baby here as those early 2000’s shows and the music was so good. And the RUclips was amazing!! I feel like 2010-2013 was when I really had a life going to all those school discos. Now I don’t leave the house except for work and uni 😂😂
We had the balance of internet and outside. Now children below 6 have a phone scrolling on tiktok for 6 hours straight when I had to always borrow my moms

Being that i was born in 2002, everything from 2008-2010 was brought up from my childhood from those years. I remember when being in your room felt like a prison cell and being outside was the best thing for us kids. I can still remember the little things that i've done outside, like, climbing up the tree the highest with your friends, the nostalgic smell of those crayola crayons in that ziploc bag, the metal slides that LITERALLY felt like lava, the ice cream truck coming down the neighborhood, going to Chuck E Cheese for parties or for your birthday party, etc. Now, I was one of those kids that said, "i can't wait to grow up so i can do whatever i want." Now, i took things for granted. If i could go back to experience it for a week, i would do it in a snap of a finger.
Something I think about often is the smell of iron or metal almost early in the morning as a kid. Senses must been more sensitive because I don't smell it anymore. You know what I'm talking about?
I was literally born in 2000 but cant deal with the fact that there are people born like like 2004 or 2005 out here living their best life doing more than ive ever done lmao.
I'm 30, coming to being 31 this tear. 2010s went through like it was yesterday. I left school in 2009. And it was an expiernce it was. There was much there and I hope the technology and vibes come back.

I’m born in 98 I had the best time of my life in 2000s an 2010s as a kid Now life is shit and depressing. Can’t believe I’ll be 25 on June 18 I been watching the old movies from 2000s as my childhood. 😢 best wishes for you guys

I was born in 2004, and I literally experienced 98% of the same things as shown in the video and I cherish them all as well. Never realized how fire my childhood was until I became an adult lmao
Adult? You're still a baby. Come back when you have kids, a wife, a house, mortgage, etc. The most wisest man, Mike Tyson, still calls 30 year olds kids.

For me it felt like the 2010s went incredibly slowly and I couldn't wait to grow up but from 2017 onwards time has been moving way too fast and sometimes I wish I could go back
True. I remember thinking time went so slow in the 2010’s and was like ”7 years till I’m a legal adult? That’s so long I’ll never be an adult!” And then from 2017 time went so fast and now I’m 19
Wish we could turn back time… to the good old days. I was born 2008 so this was my whole childhood. So when I see my brother watching poppy playtime takes a poop on siren head or some weird crap. We had popular MMOS and Stampy wildcat. Rainbows were Rainbows, dressing up in some animal costume for Halloween was fine. It’s all different now. I hope everyone born anywhere from 2010 and below had this childhood.
I was born in ‘97 but I got to experience late 90s, 2000s and 2010s media since I was from a poor family. I gotta say I’m very grateful to live through all that at cost of not being able to relate with my school peers.
I feel like I grew up so fast. I was a 2001 baby. Over the span of 10 years I went from playing battlefront and COD with my friends and family, watching cartoon network like I was getting paid for it and not caring about a damn thing to now having a house, a career and a kid on the way. Where did all the time go?
I'm like 10 yrs older and really 1991 - 2019 was probably the best time in human history. Now it's finished but don't worry another gold era will come.
I can’t really say the 2010’s was peak Cartoon Network. That was the very starting point when people started to complain a lot about the channel. I was born in 1997 so I was able to grow up with everything Cartoon Network had to offer in the early 2000’s. The early stages of the channel was definitely handled professionally and had a lot more love dedicated to it.
Yep I was born in 98, by the time I was in 5th grade Cartoon Network was already in decline. I’m glad I got to grow up watching ed ed n eddy, courage, and a bunch of other great older cartoons.
Yeah, I was like "Breadwinners? Sanjay and Craig?! FANBOY AND CHUM CHUM?!" I actively avoided seeing any episode of those shows, I hated them that much. There was one promo for Sanjay and Craig that really grossed me out.
I really, genuinely like this guy, like he's the kind of person i want to be, he's a somewhat popular youtuber that keeps shit real and speaks his mind on topics that are interesting, but he doesn't lie and i know he has fun making these. He talks about some shit that could make a huge difference on your life, and he talks about childhood shit that makes me laugh my ass off. Point is, this guy just seems super chill, humble, and the kind of person who i wanna be surrounded by, keep up the good work and thanks!
I forgot where I saw this but apparently the period between 2013-2016 were actually some of the best years for all humanity (economic, political, health wise etc) no wonder we’re so nostalgic
It's literally impossible to determinate that. You could say that "Golden Age of capitalism" was the best since there was huge economic growth for many countries. On the other hand, in terms of political stability and human rights, the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989 and the subsequent peaceful revolutions in Eastern Europe, could be consider as a significant step towards global peace and freedom. Anyway different regions and populations may have had different experiences in terms of economic and political stability, as well as health outcomes, in any given year. Saying that some year was the best is in 100 % personal opinion.
How dumb are you? 9/11, War on Terror, Haiti Earthquake, etc. There's nothing wrong with being nostalgic but stop pretending like everything was perfect when you were growing up.
@@BrandonTBlackwell not much better nowadays; the COVID pandemic that passed a while ago, Taliban takeover of Afghanistan, the current massacre of the uyghur people by the CCP, ECT. And going back, it was even worse than the 2000s. WWI, WWII, Vietnam, influenza, horrible dictators, like Stalin. Mao, Saddam, Pol Pot, And going back even farther, we got Spanish flu, bubonic plague, collapses of massive empires, and more. As a 2007 baby, I also grew up on a lot of these things. Although one thing I'll say is that I sometimes wish I was born _a few_ years earlier just so I could've gotten a headstart. I was not a DS kid, but I did have the Wii, and that was enough for me.
Born in 2003. Being a 2000s/2010s kid, my childhood was freaking AWESOME and I’d love to go back! I have lots of good memories from my childhood, one of my favorite memories was when I watched my neighbors play webkinz and Lego Indiana jones on the Wii. I thought they were the coolest people ever. My parents got those games for me so I could play them too. I still have all my webkinz, which is a lot ❤
You really spoke to the hearts of the 2000s kids. I really wish I could go back in time to relive those moments, but at least I have these amazing memories of what a childhood should be like.
Nah man, my tv was like three-foot deep. My nintendo ds wouldn't let me connect to wifi because I didn't have a stupid usb adapter, Disney Channel was full of future crackheads. Metal Gear Solid and Mortal Kombat were supposedly suitable for young children. 90% of murders were committed over Monopoly.
Yeah born in 2011 I remember the 3ds Roblox videos with faded playing. I can’t believe I am almost 13 now. I have experienced both worlds I was in the era that he is talking about and the modern era both in early childhood and 2010s era was better. 2020 was the worst part though.
I'm 17 now and looking back at the 2010s makes sad that it ended but happy that it existed. The experiences and the friends we made along the way are all wroth it. Being a 2010s kid is truly a flex.
Enjoy your senior year if the friends you have now continue being your friends into adulthood they’re your true friends and don’t focus too hard on growing up and comparing yourself to the accomplishments of others you went to school with we all progress at our own pace enjoy the journey
The fact I can say “back in my days” genuinely gets me touched tbh. I remember everyday of life in the 2010s with my family, friends and online. It was absolutely great and good time, people were normal back then and we lived in such great era’s.
I was born in the early 90s and as a 30 something, the 2010s were actually a great time to be a teen and young adult. The last time where everything felt to go downhill. I just feel everything is bleak as I entered my 30s.
Ya I’m with ya , born in early 90s too and late 2000s to 2010s era was so good to grow up in as a kid. We got to see Sony and Xbox square off, cheat books, I could go on…
real, its sad how bad things have become, like yes things were steadily getting worse for a long time, but it was a much slower progression, now it feels like every other day is. new crisis
As me being born in 2004, I feel like 80% of this was absolutely true and the most nostolgic thing for me would probably be sitting down at 10:00 at night playing Mario Galaxy until I fell asleep, or playing with my brother on our Ds's playing New super Mario bros
As a 17-year-old who’s been in America for most of his life, man does this video resonate with me on a high-level. I could go on and on about 90% of what you said and how I’ve done all of it but honestly I just want to say thanks for making this video, you know, because not only are you showing appreciation to a great decade that at the time was considered not as good as the rest, which is how it always goes, but you did it in a way that could make anybody just be happy that it at least existed. Now back to the present… I’ll be 18 in August, Damn. Am I prepared?
You'll be fine bro. I turned 18 half a year ago and a lot has changed since then. Lots of things to consider now you know? Anyways you'll do alright. Idek if I'm doing alright but I hope. Stay safe out there man ✌️
For me, Mario kart Wii has to be one of the most nostalgic games for me. Not just racing with my family and grinding to get gold on every cup, but just the music. I recently turned on the game for the first time in 6 years and the drum at the start of the title screen music just hits different.
I am a 15 year old and so pretty much all my childhood was in the 2010s and I gotta say, you nailed everything bro, I got so much nostalgia watching this.
I was born in 2001 I remember a few weeks ago having a conversation with my cousin about our childhood and he didn't remember a lot of those memories. He then told me that he noticed I tend to live more in the past when I should be focused on the future. I told him, "Despite what you, my dad and our uncle think I do think about the future, I just remember a lot about my childhood because I want something to look back to and smile about."
If I was your dad I would’ve slapped you to the 28th dimension. Really?! You’re choosing to say in the boring-ass 2000s instead of now? What did the 2000s have that the 2020s don’t? And if you say social media I swear to god you had RUclips, Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, Reddit, and so many other chat forms and message boards. The DS is just a shitty 3DS with a broken microphone and Gamefreak releasing a 5/10 Pokemon game every week. VHS are deteriorating as we speak and DVDs are scratched up In a moving box in the attic. Overall, the 2000s are extremely overrated and suck donkey ass.
I am from Germany and it is so fun to see that your youth abroad was actually pretty much the Same. Except for the TV Series, which were just other german ones, you described like 90% of my childhood. Love to y‘all!!
I was born in 2008, but i still got time to watch this era come by, ice bucket challenge, bottle flip challenge.... Not gonna lie, Me and my friends still doing these... Nostalgia.
I am 21 years old ( was born in 2002 ) and I have to say, that you really hit me with this video in a positive way. When I was six years old, me and my siblings ( 11 and 12 years old back then) got our first and only Wii console ( We still have it to this day, but it isn't working as good as it just to do). We were so happy back then that we got one of our own.Our parents told us it was the familyconsole and we had to share it with eachother and when we didn't behave or had a bad grade in school, we weren't allowed to play with it for a day. We were also allowed only to play for an hour during schooldays and two hours on the weekend and holidays. But it didn't really bother us because we used to love to play with eachother or with the neighborhoodkids. We would run around outside playing the hole afternoon till evening and our parents had to call us inside for dinner, because otherwise we wouldn't have come inside. In the winter we would build a snowbar with chairs and a table and would just sit there and drink hot tea or chocolate and just talk. Or we would play with our pets ( we had cats and my aunt had a new dog at that time (2011)). We would run around and play with them, especially with the dog ( now R.i.P😢) . It was such a great time❤❤ All in all, I had a great childhood ❤❤ PS: But kids nowadays, they don't really do this anymore. I work with elementary schoolkids ( not a teacher ) and I am shoked of how many kids have the newest Smartphones, even when their only like 8 years old. I got my first phone when I was in fifth grade and it was a the old one from my sister ( old samsung mobile phone). I only got it because I was in the new school ( I am from Germany ) and drove with the bus the first time and I got the phone in case something happend during the busrides. I got my first own smartphone when I was in seventh or eigth grade. I was so happy back then. But the kids now, they have the newest gameconsole, smart - or iphone and smartwatch when there not even ten years old. And the way they behave and talk to eachother or to adults are way out of line and disrespectful. When I was in school, we wouldn't dare talk back to the teachers or any adults and when they scolded us, we knew we messed up and didn't argue with them about our behavior. Honestly, I am very worried about these kids growing up like this and how they would turn out as adults.
Both of you shut up we're just commenting on how our childhoods to early pre teens were and yet you two are judging us because we're born in 2006 we didn't have a choice on when we we're born that was gods choice. So no our lives aren't over but that doesn't mean you can call us out
As an 06 kid, I proudly still have a bunch of the classic 2010's mobile games, and a playlist dedicated to the absolute musical masterpieces of the decade. Like you guys, I'm biased, but the 2010's (especially the earlier years) was an era that is just unmatched.

Shout out from 2006 kid. You already can, I guess. It's actually wild to realize that kids who were born after 2010's are already studying at schools and living self-conscious lives
As someone born in 1999 this decade was the best of my life. Wii Sports, Just Dance, my best friends who were also my neighbors and I hanging out at the beach on the weekends and during summer until midnight and many other experiences are priceless to me. We’ll never have another decade like this for the rest of time
Bro, I smiled through this whole video. Those vibes you gave off like man, those times were the BEST. Even though I'm from the other side of the world, I could relate to these things except for a very little part of it. You brought back some good old memories of mine, thank you.
Even as a 90s millennial, the 2010s were super nostalgic. I’ll just list some stuff: Vine was king, Miley Cyrus was still cute, MW2, cell phones with keyboards, Smosh, swine flu, old Markiplier, Nintendo DS lite, Kobe Bryant, what does the fox say, iPod Nano Video.
bro i remember memorizing what does the fox say in like kindergarten or first grade and performing it for my mom in the living room of my childhood home 😭
Born in 2007. Im still pretty young but Im turning 16 this year which feels crazy. My nostalgia comes mostly from the Wii, the 2DS, 2015 roblox, Cartoon Network, and some yt animators. I feel blessed to have experienced the 2010’s
I still remember, super clearly, one of the most nostalgic experience I used to have, even though I’m a few years younger than you guys. Back In my day(I know I sound like I’m 80 years old), for a while, around when I was about four or five years old, me and my friends would always play Pokémon together. After school, on weekends, during recess, we would always play this game, even though we were broke as hell and couldn’t buy any better cards. My childhood best friend Oliver would always play his pikachu, and I would play like bulbasaur or something. He always knew I really loved pikachu, since I would always watch the show on my old tv. One day he gave me ten cards, and including that pikachu. I was extremely happy about it. A few years later I moved to another country and never saw him again (I think over seven years now), but whenever I look at my pikachu card, it would always bring me the memories of us two sitting down on the school bench and playing together😢😢🥲🥲
Yo 2002 gang here as well, born Jan 29. Man can't believe we had a nostalgic decade perhaps even the best of all, then all of sudden 2020 hits and by God hell broke loose and changed everything.
@@BobBob-eb4io I know what you mean, I still get socially anxious though with people. Yet I have been working on myself. Overall trying to say I loved my years of growing up as the video talked about despite bad times. (Damn sry I wrote too much at you, guess just want to vent out y'know?)
UBFunkeys were my big childhood nostalgia thing. Didnt get to experience them for long since im a 2006 kid, but something about the figures being in the game facinated me and they will always be remembered in my memory as one of the coolest online games period. Hope they come back someday :')
yo theres a google doc out there that lets you play ubfunkeys with each funkey code in it. i remember for my birthday, a friend gotten me a red flurry. for some odd reason that memory will always be in my head rent free.
2010-2016 were the best years for the internet especially for RUclips. So many RUclipsrs, games, memes, and music that absolutely defined those years. It’s so weird seeing videos that I used to watch saying 10 years ago. I love looking back on those years but hate it so much because I can’t relive them.
Being born in 04 was truly something that went for granted in my life. The things I look back on now after the waves of nostalgia are all the shit our parents were going through while we were living it up as kids. The literal worst economic recession ever and everyone trying to save money
The 2010's were great, the really were, but nothing beats the early '00s. Something about that time that was just so perfect, the 2010's were when a lot of changes were put in place that got us to where we are today.
I completely agree! The early 2000s were the transition period between the 90s and 2010s, so yes we had technology but it was all so SIMPLE. I can't explain it well.
I will forever be in debt of how much I owe the 2010s, nothing was better than that decade, and I wish that I could stay in that decade because it was truly something.
@@snsnshhhs663 I don't need to go off because it's your opinion, if the 2000s was your best decade, that's your opinion, however my opinion is that the 2010s was the best decade for me and a ton others as well.
i was born in 2003 so i also lived thru 2010 and lemme say ; those were the BEST years of my life , hands down . i have vivid memories of me spending hours at a time over Christmas break tryna beat New Super Mario Bros on my Wii , breezin thru every song in Just Dance 4 , 3 , 2 , and unlimited , and playing Michael Jackson the Experience . going onto Starfall was the best part of kindergarten and i refuse to be told otherwise , that and ABCya , Poptropica , and CoolMathGames . going to the library and reading Monster Wars , Percy Watson , American Girl books and cook books were a crucial part of my elementary school experience . and how could we forget the one and only GOAT ; the Schoolastic Book Fair . i used to be BEGGIN my momma for at least $25 to get my favorite fairy books or cool ass pen sets they would sell . i was also in 2nd grade when i discovered Bart Baker and ERB , so that was a fun time too . prolly one the BEST memories i have is when i was in 5-7th grade and MTV used to play music videos in the moring . i would purposefully get up hours early before i had to go to school just to watch music videos and listen to the songs they'd play before showing shows . plus , i was also a creepypasta and fnaf kid , i used to be scared asf to play Slender and FNAF when they came out , those things scared me to a whole new degree . and i know i wasn't the only one who would sneak to watch Toonami or Adult Swim at 3 and 4 in the morning . and i used to be staying up real late , cause they would start playing the national anthem on Adult Swim before transitioning into Cartoon Network as soon as 6 AM hit . needless to say , i think highly of the 2010s and early 2000s
Bro the 2010s really were goated! I was born in 2000 and everything you said here couldn’t be more true. I never realized it until you said it; but hanging outside with the homies until the sunset really was therapeutic. I never would have put it that way before. I remember coming home at around 8:30- 9:00 pm on a summers night as the sun had just set and that cool night breeze would begin and I would enter the house all sweaty, with dirt on my knees, smelling like grass. Priceless.
It feels weird to say it, but as 32 year old I resonate more with 00's and 10's nostalgia. I don't actually remember much of the 90's. However, aside from certain highlights like SNES and Super Mario, most of my nostalgia triggers come from either right before or after the turn of the millenium.
I'm 16. And this video almost made me shed a tear 😢. How the way my life is right now I'm thankful and grateful . But These bring back a lot of good memories from my childhood. Not just for TV but in general 😁 back then was so much easier and better. I'll would love to go back.
Those were the good all days. God, I love to go back just for a day to experience being a kid again. Watching all gold series on carton Network and playing wii sports and Minecraft resort for hours on end. Everything was so simple which just made it so memorable compared to all the over the top crap that occurs in the world today. I’m only 16 and my childhood already feels like a century ago. Where did the time go?
i was born 2006, and i wasnt on the internet much as a kid, didnt watch shows other kids watched, didnt have many friends to play popular games with, im so so sad, because what i DID experience, was awesome, nothing will be able to compare to those times bro genuinely feels like a piece if my soul is lost cause i didn’t get to experience it to the fullest
i was born in 2000 so i got to enjoy some 2000s kid and 2010s kid nostalgia, waking up on saturday morning and watching that era of cartoon network will forever be unmatched
And that was just the surface. The 2010s was such a vibrant and unique era with so many talented new artists, youtubers, bands, memes, cartoons, creepypastas, animators, music genres, games, trends etc. The 2020s on the other hand barely has anything new to offer and pretty much lacks in culture. And even though they were far from perfect, they were still so much more peaceful, optimistic and innocent comparing to the 2020s. I miss this decade and it was definely one of the best decades ever.
@@ketaminepoptarts Indeed. Most trends and memes usually last for like a few weeks these days. Then people just quickly forget about them and move on the next one.
@@diorsse You're right, though it wasn't just covid that ruined the 2020s but also a lot of other disasters like inflation, lots of new wars, a series of severe natural disasters etc. However, I do agree that we aren't even halfway through yet, so perhaps we should give the 2020s a chance

Don't sleep on the animations of the 2010s. SplashKittyArtist, BaniTheKitty, Kay, Webkinzlid, all of them deserve god status for keeping 8 year old me entertained.
The memories from playing the first black ops really hit me hard sometimes. Anyone else? I was 14 when it came out and I remember staying the night at each others houses and playing all night long. Sneaking out a window to sit out in the cold and smoke Cherry cigars and weed out of homemade bongs. We always chipped in what little money we could scrape together for a pizza or wings and some soda. Everyone would be skateboarding as soon as we opened our eyes first thing in the morning. We hangout into the afternoon, call mom for a ride or skate home to take a shower and then figure out who’s house we’re crashing at tonight… good times….
Don't say that. People of 80 and the 90 tell the same about us. The problem is that every thing is changing so fast. I hate people that want the best of everything. They are the one that changed the world very must. We also must keep calm and respect what we have. Don't buy new things if the old this are Oke.
Bruh back than seemed so fun being born in 2010 kinda sucked because I wasn’t born but even when i was 5 i was living the best of being a kid but now it seems boring even in the rez thats a fun place seems boring but most old games that were said that were fun was fun as shit when i was 3 and how i was 4 i would be making survival look like making a tower of blocke but when i died I didn’t play survival for 5 years till i manned up and completed the game as a 9 year old on fortnite i miss everything in this video that even me a 2010 kid loved i just loved watching every good videos back then i even rewatch the old smosh videos now that im 12
I was born in 2001, so a lot of my treasured early-childhood memories were in the mid to late 2000's. However, the early to mid 2010's were formative years for me. In 2011, I actually moved states, so I kinda had a bit of a hard reset at the beginning of the decade. One funny thing I remember from that time was how we all used to trade & customize Halo Megabloks mini figures in my school. I'd come to school with pockets full of them, and trade by the backpack racks at the beginning of the day, in the cafeteria during lunch, or out on the playground during recess. They eventually got banned, but that didn't stop us from having an underground trade like we were black market dealers or mobsters selling alcohol during prohibition. We also had silly bands, but I didn't really think those were all that cool.
yo i came into this world a little earlier in October '03, these days were so epic! 2010 to 2013, and with a slightly different but still awesome vibe 2014 to 2016, was something special, as far as I'm concerned I'm still the undisputed hide and go seek champion of my childhood friend group, man, i haven't seen some of those guys in almost 10 years
Everyone sleeping on playing outside, sports and such (thank you for covering it). Yes, we enjoyed games on the ds and the ipod and such but we always did those outside so if we wanted to we could play a game of baseball or just chase each other around in a heartbeat if we so choose to, actually the most therapeutic feeling in the world
it's so funny to see 2000's kids finnaly being able to say "back in my day", i thought only 90's kids could say it now
Yeah, I thought about that sometimes!

And what about the 90s kids? They got a bunch of classics!
Yeah adventure time and regular shoe was like the last good shows. Not the golden age of cartoons.

That explains alot because I consider those to be the best years of my life, like exactly. Some shit went down in January 2017 for me
It's literally impossible to determinate that.
Saying that some year was the best is in 100 % personal opinion.
i still think 2014 was 2 years ago...
When Russia annexed Crimea is when shit started going really bad.

The 2010s, and the early 2000s in general, will forever in my mind, be the golden years of humanity.

There's not one point in human history without something horrible happening. The 2000s aren't better, but they're less worse.

It was such a great time❤❤
All in all, I had a great childhood ❤❤
PS: But kids nowadays, they don't really do this anymore.

Born in 2007, and as much as I love this era, wish we could bring back the older times
Fr born in same year
@@anonymoust2877 same here I wish we could go back to the 2010s
@@faclonx6275 we were the last of gen z to experience the normal and cool way of life, waiting for premieres on tv, gaming, watching movies, etc
I mean you experience a smidge of the early 2000s. You were born two years after youtube came out. And you were 3 when instagram came out.
@@anonymoust2877 you were a baby in the early 2010s
I'm 16. And this video almost made me shed a tear 😢. How the way my life is right now I'm thankful and grateful . But These bring back a lot of good memories from my childhood. Not just for TV but in general 😁 back then was so much easier and better. I'll would love to go back.
Me too bro
Those were the good all days. God, I love to go back just for a day to experience being a kid again. Watching all gold series on carton Network and playing wii sports and Minecraft resort for hours on end. Everything was so simple which just made it so memorable compared to all the over the top crap that occurs in the world today. I’m only 16 and my childhood already feels like a century ago. Where did the time go?
@@CoolCatProductions-365 Same bro where did the time go.😕
@@cheekguardian1378 Back then was the BEST days.♥
Born in 95 but had a sister born in 01. You brought back so many good mems playing with her
i was born 2006, and i wasnt on the internet much as a kid, didnt watch shows other kids watched, didnt have many friends to play popular games with, im so so sad, because what i DID experience, was awesome, nothing will be able to compare to those times bro genuinely feels like a piece if my soul is lost cause i didn’t get to experience it to the fullest
i was born in 2000 so i got to enjoy some 2000s kid and 2010s kid nostalgia, waking up on saturday morning and watching that era of cartoon network will forever be unmatched
Same here dude.
I miss this decade and it was definely one of the best decades ever.
and back then trends actually lasted, now youre lucky if the latest trend makes it a full week before its considered cringy
@@ketaminepoptarts Indeed. Most trends and memes usually last for like a few weeks these days. Then people just quickly forget about them and move on the next one.
i mean tbf we're only 3 years in 😭 it's just that 2020 got soured by covid so it wasn't really dealt a fair hand
@@diorsse You're right, though it wasn't just covid that ruined the 2020s but also a lot of other disasters like inflation, lots of new wars, a series of severe natural disasters etc. However, I do agree that we aren't even halfway through yet, so perhaps we should give the 2020s a chance
@@TyrellWhitney-h3x yes. theres a few things that are great. prime fnf was great back than. also theres comes the fnaf movie and other stuff that i can tell that were great. sometimes it might be negative but hey we should all give it a chance. maybe it gets better
Don't sleep on the animations of the 2010s. SplashKittyArtist, BaniTheKitty, Kay, Webkinzlid, all of them deserve god status for keeping 8 year old me entertained.
Don’t forget the original Ben 10
Yesss
I was born Jan 2003 ,just turned 20 and can’t say how real this is and even before 2010,some of the best moments of my childhood.
Poptropica😂
I think it's clear to say 03 da last 00s/early 10s kids I'll say 04 too
My childhood in the 2010s was incredible. Kids these days will never know what having fun is anymore.
The Poptropica nostalgia will never be matched.
yo i came into this world a little earlier in October '03, these days were so epic!
