The worst part about group projects is that we're one of those guys that just want to do the work and get it done while other group members would slack off... it's so annoying. I'm trying to maintain my grades and move on.
imagine college courses that require you to work in groups with peers, 9/10 times I will get some peer that doesn't know what they are doing, I have to basically do my own work and their work. I dropped out of college for that reason alone and the fact it's absurd how much it costs for that diploma
@@brrttaa I feel for you man it isn’t easy but mad respect for doing that granted the mooches did probably get a grade so ehh hopefully nothing like that in the future
@@brrttaa Bro this is why I fucking hate group projects. I end up doing all the work because my group members dont give a shit and I end up giving them a good grade/they end up giving me a worse one. Worst experience I had was when some dude said he'd do all the work, just for it to suck complete ass. Like why offer to do the work if you know you can't do it. That shit pissed me off so much. Then I had to redo all of his stuff while he complained the entire time.
Once in 8th grade my history teacher paired us up and has us work on a project. Now, I was known as the "smart kid" of the class, and I literally did like 60% of the work, leaving my parter with only about 40% of the work to do. But he didn't do his part at all. And when the teacher found out, he dropped both of our overall grades. But that's not even the worst part. The worst part was the teacher then proceeded to blame ME and say it was my fault for picking a slacking partner, when I, and every other student in that room, knew FOR A FACT that the teacher was the one who paired us up. But I didn't say anything because I was a shy kid at the time.
That’s foul, atleast u were in 8th grade when u had to deal with that BS and the fact the teacher blamed u. I’d put a lawsuit if they were to give a failing grade for smth like that
Something similar happened to me as well except for not only did our grade drop but I was put into in school suspension for being " the lazy one " I tried to do the work even with my Bare Bones knowledge of the subject but just wasn't a help because it was a subject that I also struggled in and barely knew anything about
i ABSOLUTELY hate group projects, like why do they have to exist? why we can't just do them alone? why we have to pair up with people we don't want to know/people who literally do nothing?
@@victorcapote7376 what i meant in my first comment was: the reason teachers pair you with others you don't know is so you have an opportunity to overcome adversity through practicing your ability to collaborate
Honestly the best teachers in the whole world that i love more than anyone else is the ones that assign group projects but then say "you can work alone if you want" like i can get this done in 20 minutes tops unlike the foot ball jocks goofing off and taking more time than a slug takes to walk a mile same with the hot Cheeto girls they always come up with some lazy ass plan and spend more time chomping on spicy corn than actually doing it
On god bro, most of these projects don’t even need more people if you know what you’re doing. Most of the class are going to slow you down, unless you’re already friends and share a braincell. The teachers who be letting us work alone are hella chill.
Bruh, ngl. I get petty as fuck and erase people's name when they do that shit. Most if not all of my teachers are chill when I do that but them squirrel brain athletes or them spoiled princesses who be claiming they all that are the most useless people in the school. I'm not doing all the work and crediting them assholes. I would rather do my own work and finish it in that class if not the very next day.
@@quackmaster2578 back when I was in middle school I always got stressed out because the teachers always put me in a group with bullies and they make fun of me and they separated me from my friends
I kinda like the teachers picking out the groups for us because I don’t have any friends and it’s so embarrassing to tell the teacher you don’t have a group and then get paired with the other weird kids who are friendless 💀 Edit: EVEN WORSE IF UR FRIENDS ALREADY HAVE A GROUP AND UR LEFT OUT 😭
In my experience, the teacher would always just put all the people who didn't have a group into their own group. The problem was that most of those people didn't have a group because they are lazy and terrible to work with, not because they had no friends. I'd always have to ask for my section to be graded separately, so I wouldn't fail every group assignment.
it's the fucking worst bro, I remember back in 8th grade I would never get an assigned role in a group project and was too afraid to ask which part I'm doing and never got a chance to speak because everyone was already talking to each other instead of me, so when the teachers came by to check on us, they always yelled at me and accused me of not participating but those RARE moments where I DID participate, the teachers WEREN'T F*CKING LOOKING 😂😂
@@TheSlideCell when they took all the credit "oh yeah teacher we did alot of hard work to make this project" bro if I hadn't do all the work last minute, we wouldn't have gotten pick
If anything, those group projects would only amplify my issues with "teamwork." When I entered the workforce, that's when I learned what actual teamwork could be like.
I once had an experience where our group project was to make a short film, around 5-10 minutes long. Now at the time, I knew my partners decently well, but not well enough to know what was coming to me. The first problem was that none of us could agree with a topic or theme. Eventually, majority ruled making a movie about a tennis athlete that suffers a head injury and gets amnesia. However, another problem with that was that they wanted the main star to be a student that wasn't in the class. So another member anointed themselves the main role. We then created a group chat that was never used except for a few members putting weird jokes. We had a whole month to do the project but we didn't start working on the script until 13 days until it was due. By the time we were done, we had less than 3 days to film. We started filming only to realize we didn't have access to a tennis court or any other important details in the script. So the group just decided to skip the script and just follow the story halfway. What would have been a movie about a tennis player losing then gaining their memories became a movie about one kid falling down one step, a hospital exploding for no reason (main stars idea), a coma dream where everyone is themselves, and then waking up to the real world. We barely had 4 minute's of film and our film editor dipped a few days prior. And the whole time I'm trying to hint that this isn't going to work, but most just dismissed me saying, "It's fine", "We don't need to do that", and other lazy excuses. Needless to say, I didn't feel like working with them again for a while. *tl:dr* - My group made a half ass movie and no one except me cared
im the useless guy and in my defense and others WE DO NOT KNOW HOW TO DO WHATEVER THAT TEACHER IS THROWING AT US if we were with our friends in the group projects life would be better

Group projects are my worst nightmare as a procrastinator because I hate dragging others down, like I want to be an equal contributor to the assignment like my partners but at the same time I can't help myself.
I’m in 8th grade rn, and earlier this year, we had a group project with 3 other random students. It was in science class, and I barely knew stuff about the periodic table. Then, I was sick from Friday - Thursday (we started working on Thursday and presented* on Friday.) When I came back, 1 was yelling at me, 1 was arguing with me, and the other was out sick also (but he did a lot). I partially blame myself for this. I got reassigned another project but alone. So, never let your teacher group you with other random students, stay focused on the subject, and never get sick on weekdays. *I just sat back and watched my group present
I can’t edit on an iPad (a school one) so I’ll add a few more here. I made one enemy out of this (the one arguing became chill later and the one who was sick but did some work didn’t really care)
I feel bad you’re in 8th grade. As a first year college student, I’m so grateful for the years that came after middle school. 6th-8th grade were the years where everything and everyone is awkward, cringe, bullying is at its peak, and everyone is a piece of garbage. Rate the accuracy of my assessment
The worst is when the teacher grades everyone depending on how much everyone equally contributed. I got so many terrible grades for something I couldnt prevent. I hate the system, I do the best I can possibly do, I get a bad grade
One of the biggest problems with group projects in school is that teachers often pair up the higher-motivated or higher-achieving students with the lower-motivated or lower-achieving students, I guess hoping the higher students pull the lower students up to their level. But what ends up happening is the lower students still have their lower motivation and tend to not pull their weight, leaving the higher students to either get up in their grill to try and get them to pull their weight, or take on the majority of the workload themselves in order to get the project done right, or even to just get it done at all. One thing teachers and instructors need to to is to stop this type of group assigning. Just let people pick their group partners so that similarly motivated students naturally gravitate towards each other and the lower students, if they wanna slack, can slack together without dragging others down with them or forcing other students to pick up their work in order to not get dragged down.
I think having both would work. like.. let people choose their partners and if there’s someone who doesn’t know anyone in the class they can ask the teacher to pair then up with someone.
I have no friends at school, I'm just equally cool with everyone. And then i have like 5 associates which are borderline friends, but more so just people to talk to during lunch lol
fr me too 😭 I have 2 friends in my class , but we're not that close (I got a diff class then most of my friends) 1 of them has a lot of other friends and always pairs with them and the other is a slacker. Anw now i'm stuck with 2 random guys from my class to d a religions project cuz both of my friends already had teams 😍
My problem half the time is never being assigned to do anything. My group just forgets that I exist and gives each other tasks, but not me. Then they get on me about not doing anything. Like bruh maybe if you actually let me do something and not hog all the work then I would contribute. Simple you do this, you do that.
I hate it when those tryhard students just forget about you and do everything their way and are overcontrolling. It's kinda nice to just let them do it all for me at the same time. But not when I get a low grade because "I didn't participate" because my partner literally forces everyone they work with not to do anything.
Everyone always argues it’s so annoying when one guy for some reason Hates the idea 99% of the group agree on and then prevents any progress we try to make
Literally happened in our last group. It took us a WEEK to ALL agree on a topic because of him... Also this project was due at the end of the semester but still it shouldn't take no week to come up with something that the teacher is gonna forget about next year
Group projects with your friends are honestly hands down the funnest times in school for me since you are with the people that you actually can talk with but can get stuff done with and that equilibrium is soo soo good. However the one time I didn’t have this treatment and got paired up with randoms it was horrible. My teacher for whatever reason wouldn’t even let me do it all by myself so that I could do it. She demanded that we do it as a group. And oh my god they didn’t ever stop talking this one person never stopped and we failed since we couldn’t get anything done and I couldn’t just carry the group even if I wanted to since my teacher wouldn’t allow for it. That is the worst day I have ever had at school thankfully it only happened once otherwise I would be angry all the time and blow up one day.
whenever i partner up with my friends we all just end up getting distracted because one of us found some goofy image of barney with a carrot stuck up his ass
When I was in acting class in high school, this one time the teacher gave us a group project to act out a scene but we had to pick our own groups and literally NOBODY asked me to join their group so when the day came, I had to act out the scene as ALL 3 characters on stage in front of my class.
@@15Kei I was basically talking to myself and switching characters. I looked like I had a split personality and talking to those other personalities. It went fine as expected, not as good as the other groups, and when my class was exiting the stage, someone behind me said to his friend, “cringeworthy?” and in my head I’m like, “Bro! You didn’t want to invite me in the group.” XD.
I remember this writing assignment group project in my freshman year. This was an English class, and we basically had to make an essay about this commercial advertisement. And we had to do a collaborative essay. It was 2 other students, who unfortunately were dumber than bricks. I ended up doing it all myself and we still got an F because we didn't do the team part but got an A on the self essay part, and I ended using my essay alone to submit on the computer, cuz guess what THEY DID NOTHING BUT PLAY ON THIER PHONES, HOW ARE KIDS SO CAREFREE THESE DAYS, SCHOOL AINR A DAYCARE.By the way this was the type of teacher that lets the students control the class, because he didn't care, in the end it'll be our fault that we fail the important tests. I despised him so much for not doing anything and keeping the class responsible.
Bro legit I was in that position yesterday where literally everyone else in my group were just in their phones and I had to do all the work cuz I didn't want a F
In 9th grade I had this long-ass math project bout making a roller-coaster ride in a coordinate plane. I was grouped up with the worst kids in class. One was infamous for not doing anything and the other was absent all the days on working on the project except when it was time to submit "our" work. I was the only one who did the work and submit it. By some miracle, I got an A. Basically: I had 2 deadweight teammates and did the project on my own and passed.
these videos always seem to bring every type of high school student together to discuss their experiences in high school. it’s kinda wholesome when you think about it
I just simply refused to work with a group everytime a thing like this came around. My teachers knew this too so I didn't hardly get questioned on it. It was one of my fundamental rules of school. Another was never use the bathrooms under any circumstances unless it's just to wash your hands. You better believe some of those duces got their flight delayed like 6 hours till I got home. I'm actually gonna be graduating early and be finished come this monday though.
I’m a junior in college and one of my professors this year assigned a huge group project to work on across the whole semester and it was basically just busy work. I had this teacher for two classes, and she assigned a group project for each class (one studying a whole language and one studying a disorder) and they were both due at the same time. She also assigned a ton of homework to do in both classes like these were the only classes we had But for the group projects, we had like a good 2 months to work on the paper and presentation, and for both group projects, my partners were texting me the day before it’s due because they just started their parts. I ended up doing the most work for both group projects and even writing half of one of their sections😭
The best part to hear from a teacher is when the teacher cancels a group project. I had that for my online class this semester and I was so happy. I've gotten pair with people who barley spoke and just listen to my answers. I would always be the one to speak about the topic. I hate it so much, and I was dreading to be put in a group, but thankfully we ran out of time and it got cancel.

I couldn't agree more that some people out here act like NPCs, not really caring about what the heck is going on. I've almost always had fun with group projects because it gave me and my friends an excuse to hang out after finishing the work. My worst group project experience, however, was one of the classes I took in college where I knew NOBODY, and the people I did know were in other classes. Only one other person pulled through and we had to haul everyone else's bums to the finish line because THEY DIPPED. I was just glad my teacher was lenient enough to ace us all (shout out to the class and teacher, it was the most lax time I ever had learning history!)!
When it comes to group projects, I will work alone if I get the chance because you CANNOT tell me to put my trust in these incompetent people even if someone asks for me to join. Because if I mess up, it’s my own problem and something I can fix on my own. If someone else fucks up, I’ll be caught in the blast and will be affected.
Everytime I get in group projects you either get the kid that doesn't do anything and still pass off of your work or doesn't show up until after the project was due 😂
I was in 6th grade last year and I got a project on the Great Basin Native Americans and we were set up with our tables. I was sick the day before so I was paired with the only two person table behind mine. We do the intro and location slides and there are 10 left. Little did I know that I was the one that had to do all 10 of those slides, 6 the day before they were due because I had been tasked to do 4 already. Worst of all, we needed to cite who did which slides and the kids that did nothing took credit for 3/4 of the slides that I did. We did the presentation and I immediately emailed the teacher because I wasn’t letting that pesky stuff slide. They all got 0s and I got a 94, let’s go.
I had a group project where we had the entire class day to i guess "celebrate" a foreign holiday after giving a short presentation on it. One of the things you COULD do for the project was bring in food for your classmates. Idr what we had but i did my part in the presentation but no fucking food because all of my group members were lazy as fuck, ignorant, wannabe cool stoners. When the teacher saw that we didn't have food, she said some shit like, "Oh, so you didn't bring food? Ok, well everyone, this group didn't bring food so unfortunately you'll all have to sit in silence. Sorry." I sat there embarrassed and pissed off because she said the food wasn't even a requirement. I feel like when you get older, you can see what some teachers were doing, being wise and all; but god damnit man, when i look back on my teachers, i see nothing but pathetic excuses for mentors. Truth is, those kinds of teachers don't want to be there as much as you don't and it breeds a cycle of agony for both teachers and students: Bad teachers lead to bad students lead to bad teachers lead to bad students and so on. Highschool fucking sucked
On God. I'm in university right now and the number of group projects we had in the first semester was an unholy plethora. And not only that, you have free riders on your back, lazing like sheep while I did all the work. To this day, my back hurts from carrying many group projects.
There was this one time where the teacher made the conscious decision to partner me up with the three worst-behaved kids in my class for a project in which we had to come up with information to write down, and I was chosen as the writer. It was a Wednesday and next Monday the project would be due, a Google Slide (my teacher apparently didn’t even tell us it was a project until Thursday), but I had a doctor’s appointment Thursday and Friday I was in the school spelling bee. Me being the writer, this was a rather unfortunate turn of events, since the group had to completely rewrite all the information. Monday, the kid who owned the Google Slide happened to be absent, so we had to make an entirely new presentation portraying all the information with the 12 minutes the teacher gave us at the beginning of class. Somehow we managed to get an A, but regardless, I never liked that teacher. He had a tendency to hold us after the bell, too. Tl;dr I was the writer for my group but was absent and we had 12 minutes to make a presentation yet miraculously managed to pass
I did a group project for my Global studies class not too long ago and it was with 2 other people. My teacher, what he does is he has partners A, B, and C and has us write down what part of the project we do so he can grade us INDIVIDUALLY on our work so that way, even if they don’t do the work, you still get an A but they get 0’s
Every time a teacher assigns a group project I swear they're trying to sabotage me. I don't have any friends, so I have to work with some random people that I don't know and don't WANT to know, and 90% of the time I get paired with people that will spend most of the project talking to each other/arguing since they're friends/get along really well and I'm the only one trying to make it through the day without any problems. Not only that, they always make us present our projects, and the projects me and whoever I'm stuck with have made/finished end up being mediocre at best, plus I don't like presenting things in front of the class, so it's like a nightmare
So far I've had terrible experiences with group projects. There was this first time where we had to make a poster against bullying in Spanish class. I drew the poster and another girl wrote an essay about it. There was a third girl but she did nothing for the project. Since I didn't do anything in Spanish the teacher gave me and the girl who did nothing the same notes :') I took the time to do the poster just to get the same amount of points as the girl who did nothing. There was this other time which was recently where we had exams for sports. There were three girls counting me. We had to create a choreography based on a theme and we chose to do something based on the sea. We had a set idea. Then me and another girl was absent the next time at sports so the third girl changed *all* of the choreography. The next time, me and the other girl were left to somehow learn the dance moves in *30 minutes* before the exam and I just couldn't get it right and did absolutely terribly in the end. I also wrote a resume explain the choreography but since the third girl changed everything, I just wasted time :') Lesson learned I'm never ever doing group projects. I don't give a shit if that'll lower my grades because "friendship and teamwork are important" because all that's ever done was make me hate ppl more 🙃
I instinctively remember my 10th grade science class would have projects that'd have 2 people each working on them, and my social anxiety ass would always find itself getting stuck with the kid that did literally nothing. Though, I think he had ADHD looking back so uhh-
I don't hate Group Works because I don't like working with other people. I hate Group Projects because I know dam well I'll do everything on my own. As an introverted individual whose friends are in different strands, it's hard to find a stranger who is willing to let you participate in the group. I remembered earlier in first months of school, b*tches literally left me out on Theisis making. So you know what I had to do, I HAD TO DO EVERYTHING In order to take my vengeance, I destroyed them in Final Examinations. Like seriously If I weren't a pacifist, I'd mop the floor with them
Group projects be like: The kid who doesn’t talk or do squat. The kid who messes around the entire time. The kid who tries. (Most of the time me) the kid trying to get the other kids to do something.
I was the kid who usually never knew what to do or say and got accused of not participating but then those rare moments when I DID say something and participate the teachers WEREN'T F*CKING LOOKING, then those moments where I wasn't doing anything again, they came back to accuse me of not participating 😂😂
Last year, I had to take a team test in math and the teacher said that she would randomly pick one of the group member’s test and everyone in the group would get that person’s grade. Well, I was the only person in my group who was actually working, the other three people in my group just sat on their phones the whole time. I knew that if they didn’t do the test, I had a 75% chance of getting an F so I just let them copy off of me so that they would at least have something on their paper. We got an A, but it sucks that we all got the same grade even though I was the only person who actually did anything.
I remember in history class how I was assigned to a group that made me do all the work, hoping I'd make an ass of myself. The topic was about WWII which, unbeknownst to everyone including my teacher, I was a know it all about it. So when I present it all to the class, my history teacher asks me how I knew so much (I even went in depth about topics they don't teach in some Florida schools, like the Ustasa). I proceeded to pull up a photo of my bookshelf on my phone that's filled with books regarding topics like the branches of the Nazi Party and the D-Day invasions. My other response to him was that my fascination with World War II started in my late elementary school years because my great grandfather told me war stories from his time in the Korean War. From there onwards, everyone wanted to be paired up with me because of my vast knowledge of conflicts throughout American history. I know little of the Revolutionary War admittedly, but I shine best in the American Civil War, World War I, and World War II. As for the students who didn't help, my history teacher quickly found out and failed them, leaving me as the only one in that group with an A+
Had to work on a semester long project with 3 emo chick's in my freshman year. They did not help me when I tried to reach out to them. So I just gave up and decided to do all the work and research on my own. Give it 6 months and I'm about to present this banger presentation when they are freaking out. They all stand in the corner as I talk about rainfall affecting ammonia levels at this one channel. That goes on for about 20 minutes and I end up with 97 Exam grade and they all have 50's. Still believe they deserved 0's.
Ong I feel like teachers are sadists and just like seeing children suffer cause with most jobs they pair you up with someone you work best with so that you’re more efficient and work better. No normal ass job is gonna see two people fighting and not interacting with each other and be like “Ofc! They’re a perfect pair! All they need to do is get to know each other”. In reality jobs don’t gaf about friendships as long as you’re making them money.
one time i got into a group with the popular girls, and it was the most terrible group you could ever imagine. i carried them and they acted like they did all the work, and the teacher believed them. they be out getting As and i’m here with a C+ cuz i didn’t “try” hard enough
I always loved it when the teacher said you could work alone because finding groups was always a hassle sometimes I had that one good friend I could partner up with but in most classes i didn't have many friends to partner up with so it felt really awkward having to work with someone I hated or working with someone who I know didn't wanna work with me
Man in college rn I just finished a class with instead of four exams, it's four major group projects w/ each project being three major assignments, and guess what I LITERALLY DID ALL TWELVE ALONE WITHOUT ANY HELP NO MATTER HOW MUCH I PLEADED, A CAR LITERALLY RAMMED INTO MY BIKE AND THEY STILL WOULDN'T LIFT A FINGER, one of the 3 assignments is making a video and they scheduled filming after my Chem Midterm to my protests so I was literally hobbling from my midterm to the group to film; if they didn't exist my class would've been amazing with my professor being leader of a NASA mission going on random ramblings
The worst part of the group project is when you get paired up with the nerds that decide to take care of the project by themselves and won’t let participate in the project and then will tell the teacher on you for not doing anything theses we’re mostly the girls to.
YESSSSS finally someone who has the same experience as me 😂every time I was in a group project no one ever gave me a role in the project or a chance to participate so I always got yelled and and accused by the teachers for "not participating" and then those RARE TIMES where I DID participate the fucking teachers weren't looking 😂😂
I always got with the people who did literally nothing the entire time, stole what I did and claimed it as their own work, or never even showed up. group projects my beloathed.
Its so frustrating as a mute student because nobody knows how to communicate to me so they either give up and leave me with all the work and cause me to burn out or exclude me from the group entirely and makes the teacher give me a bad grade for "not participating"
I have some social problems so this is quite literally hell for me, BUT ITS BETTER TO WORK ALONE SO THE FINAL PRODUCT CAN LOOK JUST HOW YOU WANG IT TO WITH NO ONE BOSSING U AROUND. Especially if your more creative than others u got a w for yourself.
I hate group project and assignments, because in half my classes I have no Freind’s, and I’m just interested in keeping my head down and passing the class.
I had a group project in 6th Grade. I was grouped with 3 other students, and none of them did the work. They just slacked off and played with cards all day during class. Hell, they even did it in front of the teacher on multiple occasions and she didn't do anything about it. It was bullcrap. So guess what I did? I devised a freaking SUPER VILLAIN PLAN! I told them that for the presentation, we were going to split up our sections. But in the end, guess what? I TOOK THEM BY SURPRISE AND DID IT ALL BY MYSELF! I DON'T CARE IF WE GOT AN F ON THAT PROJECT! IF THEY DON'T DO THEIR WORK, I BRING THEIR GRADES DOWN BABYYY! Moral of the story: Do the damn work in the damn project or there's gonna be that one damn kid who sacrifices their own damn grade to watch you suffer
The thing I hate most about group projects is that most of the time, your other group members will just talk to each other and basically make you have to do most of the project.
I had this Reverse Engineering group project (or as they call it, PBL), and it was terrible since no one in my group did anything until the last minute. I saw others doing fine and I look at my group not doing anything and I thought I was gonna fail. Good thing is that I got a B+ and I was hella relieved.
If I have to hear about "getting to know other people" and "expanding circles" and "in the real world etc.etc." *_ONE MORE TIME..!!!_* I've BEEN in the "real world" and it's STILL difficult to work with other people there, so at least spare me the misery while I'm in school - trying so hard to fulfill all these crazy grade requirements so I can graduate and move on with my liiiiiiiife😭😭😭😭😭
And seriously, it's not about disliking the people themselves - it's ALL about having vastly different approaches to the work. I like to get things done as soon as possible so I can move on to other things, and that means wrapping up the planning stage ASAP so the actual work can get started. Instead, I often end up having to wait for people to come to an agreement with what we're doing in the first place. It's a burden and it really stresses me out. _If anyone from my school somehow notices this comment and realises who I am... Hello, and please don't take it personally. I just want my degree and I'm tired of slapping into all these group work hurdles 🥲_

I was just to shy for group projects. I would only say what I wanted todo when the other kids asked. They didn’t always ask though so I just went along with what they wanted to do, I didn’t mind and I think that’s why I’m so flexible now. I can go with the flow.
My worst experience with group projects happened a couple of weeks ago. i am in 9th grade and im extremely introverted. but it seems that no teacher knows the concept of being anti social. i got paired with those kinda football guys that dont do shit and then blame you. i ended up getting my grades smashed cause of em fuckers
One time during eighth grade science class, we had to make up an eco-friendly tourist attraction that fit within 100 acres of land or something; I ended up having to stay up till midnight to finish and redo over half the project the day before it was due because of how badly my group was slacking.
Honestly looking back at high school a majority of the time I was the person who helped with the speaking parts lol, like I have to admit towards the end I didn’t do as much work but when it came to presenting I could pull so much out of my own ass lmao really helped me out in the end hell even in collage right now I still do that sometimes it helps to have someone in your group that can just blabber honestly.
the reason why I hate and really despise group project is not because I hate doing the work, its because I hate most classmates like half of them are lazy or annoying, or ignorant smart who think just because they're smart and won't let me insert or hear out my ideas and it always fell apart in the end anyways.
Bro group projects are so stupid, We were doing one where we had to build a model in class and I told my team I couldn’t bring supplies because my parents always got home late and I couldn’t go anywhere, And their dumbasses still assigned me the one to bring the supplies so they can blame having no project on me and they all got a perfect score while I got a zero😭
My groups are so stereotypical because I look like a common nerd glasses and braces so I end up doing all of it, and we end up getting an f because there’s no way that I’m gonna solo all of the work
With group projects I’m always just tryna get my part done but the worst part is when you have 2 people who hate each other in your group cause then it’s just like a warzone every class period and then you have the slackers who just play along with it as an excuse to do nothin and you’re just sitting there like tf why me god?
One time I was doing literally all of the work while the other three were folding magazines making people have funky looking faces or something. One of them didnt know how to tell time btw.
I’m a sophomore in high school recently we had an art group project before the semester end. We was paper Maching mythical creature. We had struggle agreeing on what creature we wanted to do and what To add to the creature. She would suggest something, I wouldn’t like the idea then she will literally do two things: complain about me not liking her ideas and then said “sorry it’s YOUR project” (I tried convincing her it’s “OURS” but it didn’t work out) and get frustrated and won’t feel like helping me nor talk to me, her second option should would do is legit walk out the classroom. Sometimes she comes back and sometimes she don’t, so, I did 80% of the work. She would be off task very often. On Thursday I have gotten COVID and the project was not done plus I needed to do exams. I’m in the verge of passing out finishing and worried about her ruining the grade. Wasn’t able to make to school Friday so knowing her she probably took the project home after it was graded
Idk how he graded it either but privately I talked to my teacher about it he said “:don’t sit with her nor everyone else near you next time because there’s always drama between y’all and he said he don’t know what to do about her”

But I didn't say anything because I was a shy kid at the time.
that teacher is so stupid he probably thought meth stood for methane gas
May that teacher suffer these days
That’s foul, atleast u were in 8th grade when u had to deal with that BS and the fact the teacher blamed u. I’d put a lawsuit if they were to give a failing grade for smth like that

Something similar happened to me as well except for not only did our grade drop but I was put into in school suspension for being " the lazy one " I tried to do the work even with my Bare Bones knowledge of the subject but just wasn't a help because it was a subject that I also struggled in and barely knew anything about

I feel your pain, I was always so nervous before picking groups
In my experience, the teacher would always just put all the people who didn't have a group into their own group. The problem was that most of those people didn't have a group because they are lazy and terrible to work with, not because they had no friends. I'd always have to ask for my section to be graded separately, so I wouldn't fail every group assignment.
💀
The worst thing about a group projects is that for an introvert, it’s their paralysis demon.
it's the fucking worst bro, I remember back in 8th grade I would never get an assigned role in a group project and was too afraid to ask which part I'm doing and never got a chance to speak because everyone was already talking to each other instead of me, so when the teachers came by to check on us, they always yelled at me and accused me of not participating but those RARE moments where I DID participate, the teachers WEREN'T F*CKING LOOKING 😂😂
And then I am always the one who gets stuck with all the work just because I get good grades.

And it’s always a group project on stuff you can do twice as fast by yourself

When I came back, 1 was yelling at me, 1 was arguing with me, and the other was out sick also (but he did a lot). I partially blame myself for this. I got reassigned another project but alone.
Or lower achiever students can try harder. It's not hard to at least try.
I think having both would work.
like.. let people choose their partners and if there’s someone who doesn’t know anyone in the class they can ask the teacher to pair then up with someone.
i absolutely hate having to pick groups. yes, i have friends but they already have other friends. Thats why I LOVE when it is randomized
i absolutely fucking hate the both, why we can't do individually the projects?
Relatable. I'm one of those friends who gets picked second and they prefer someone else over me
I have no friends at school, I'm just equally cool with everyone.

I know that feeling, godspeed.
Same thing for my Junior physics class only my group didn't chastise me.for.not assigning me to do anything
Why is this so relatable
I hate it when those tryhard students just forget about you and do everything their way and are overcontrolling. It's kinda nice to just let them do it all for me at the same time. But not when I get a low grade because "I didn't participate" because my partner literally forces everyone they work with not to do anything.
I had similar experiences in middle school. I'd even ask if there's anything I can do and they'd just say "idk, figure it out."

Group projects progressively get worse the higher you go up in school. It's absolute torture once you reach college.
Yeah, Idk why group projects are a thing in college. Especially when most of the class are grown adults that work full-time &/or raising kids.
This is all the most relatable stuff😭 i hate group projects
I also wrote a resume explain the choreography but since the third girl changed everything, I just wasted time :')
Lesson learned I'm never ever doing group projects. I don't give a shit if that'll lower my grades because "friendship and teamwork are important" because all that's ever done was make me hate ppl more 🙃
Nothing makes me want to flip my desk like a teacher who gives out group projects that are graded.
I instinctively remember my 10th grade science class would have projects that'd have 2 people each working on them, and my social anxiety ass would always find itself getting stuck with the kid that did literally nothing.
Though, I think he had ADHD looking back so uhh-
The worst is when they make you do all the talking during the presentation and they just stand in front of the board in silence
So you know what I had to do, I HAD TO DO EVERYTHING
In order to take my vengeance, I destroyed them in Final Examinations. Like seriously
If I weren't a pacifist, I'd mop the floor with them
This is the really good why school projects are annoying.
Group projects be like:
The kid who doesn’t talk or do squat.
Don't forget: The kid who will and wants to do something but there's literally nothing that they can do for the project
Group projects are like hell man they do like nothing but mess around I ain’t no teachers pet but I ain’t tryna fail bro 😂😭
Exactly. Like I'm the only one in the entire class that does work and isn't trying to fail
As for the students who didn't help, my history teacher quickly found out and failed them, leaving me as the only one in that group with an A+
I always get a lower grade when I work with other people. If I want something done well, I do it myself. Stop forcing me to do group projects!
Bro, I feel you and this shit is the worst at uni. Honestly, just let me do single assignments for life and I'm good.
When you're socially inept, this is torture
I have some social problems so this is quite literally hell for me, BUT ITS BETTER TO WORK ALONE SO THE FINAL PRODUCT CAN LOOK JUST HOW YOU WANG IT TO WITH NO ONE BOSSING U AROUND. Especially if your more creative than others u got a w for yourself.
I hate group project and assignments, because in half my classes I have no Freind’s, and I’m just interested in keeping my head down and passing the class.
Naw bro my English teacher paired me up with the other quiet kid cause we'd "do better together" all it's doing is giving me anxiety💀💀
Sometimes you just end up soloing the entire project, I've been there.
Hated group projects. Wanted to be left alone because of past experiences with bullies. Imagine being paired with someone you hate.
yeah I know it sucks I had these past experiences too.
Group projects reach you a very important lesson about real life work. Some of your teammates are going to be completely useless
Still gotta be the most vile shit I’ve ever done
Group projects are really only done frequently by teachers too lazy to grade individually (speaking from personal experience).
The thing I hate most about group projects is that most of the time, your other group members will just talk to each other and basically make you have to do most of the project.
I absolutely hate working in groups cuz I hate talking to ppl AND I forget easily so I deadass forget to even do my part of the project 💀
I had this Reverse Engineering group project (or as they call it, PBL), and it was terrible since no one in my group did anything until the last minute. I saw others doing fine and I look at my group not doing anything and I thought I was gonna fail. Good thing is that I got a B+ and I was hella relieved.
What made it worse is that I didn't do anything either because of the FIFA World Cup.
the word 'PBL' literally brings back the trauma from 6th grade i swear-
i hated PBLs with all my h e a r t
@@DodieYT I hate the PBL and the one I talked about I just finished and was my first PBL ever. I immediately hated school after hearing about PBLs
If I have to hear about "getting to know other people" and "expanding circles" and "in the real world etc.etc." *_ONE MORE TIME..!!!_*
I've BEEN in the "real world" and it's STILL difficult to work with other people there, so at least spare me the misery while I'm in school - trying so hard to fulfill all these crazy grade requirements so I can graduate and move on with my liiiiiiiife😭😭😭😭😭
Whats hurts more is when they hit you with a group limit leaving one man behind that man ends up in a trash group
3:53: It's just basic nervousness that almost everyone experiences. Now imagine if you actually cared about what people think about you. That nervousness turns into dread and terror.
I was just to shy for group projects. I would only say what I wanted todo when the other kids asked. They didn’t always ask though so I just went along with what they wanted to do, I didn’t mind and I think that’s why I’m so flexible now. I can go with the flow.
If everybody in a group project was the same person, there wouldn’t be a problem.
This shit hits harder when you're in-7th grade and you teamed up with the hot Cheeto girls...
bro genuinely the best commentary channel, the videos and pictures are amazing
I’m honored bro🙏🏾 thank you🖤
My worst experience with group projects happened a couple of weeks ago. i am in 9th grade and im extremely introverted. but it seems that no teacher knows the concept of being anti social. i got paired with those kinda football guys that dont do shit and then blame you. i ended up getting my grades smashed cause of em fuckers
I've always hated group anything, especially projects. I'm a borderline recluse and they are mental torture
Group projects are if a teacher hates you and groups you up with 3 other people that she hates
group projects are like Vietnam
it still gives me horrid nightmares
the reason why I hate and really despise group project is not because I hate doing the work, its because I hate most classmates like half of them are lazy or annoying, or ignorant smart who think just because they're smart and won't let me insert or hear out my ideas and it always fell apart in the end anyways.
I hate group projects especially when we have to present. I just do all the work and let the other people present it all😭
a day where ggrimey posts is a good day
Bro group projects are so stupid, We were doing one where we had to build a model in class and I told my team I couldn’t bring supplies because my parents always got home late and I couldn’t go anywhere, And their dumbasses still assigned me the one to bring the supplies so they can blame having no project on me and they all got a perfect score while I got a zero😭
4:57 Bro even Mordecai was questioning that line
Just had to carry 2 FINALS and this video shows up, thank you
❤️❤️❤️

That one guy who says things that aren’t real into the project
Idk how he graded it either but privately I talked to my teacher about it he said “:don’t sit with her nor everyone else near you next time because there’s always drama between y’all and he said he don’t know what to do about her”
See, this is why I prefer being alone or with my friends.
1:55 hey hey hey, I may be a nerd with the name Olivia, but at least I eat warm pasta 💀
I just discovered this channel yesterday and it is a very good channel. Giga Chad approves and subs

2:27 love the fact you added that image even though they're both beneficial to eachother
i love the fact that the quality off your videos hasn't changed or dropped besides you blowing up and posting videos every 3-4 days good shit
