My first attempt on bending the C-Bout rib failed and I don't dare to do it again and has been searching youtube on how to do it properly. I have improvised my bending belt using thin aluminium strip and leather. I hope my next try will be successful following your technique shown.
Well, what you need is something so hot that you can do the process. No one knows how they did!! Some know-it-all persons claim that Strad did this because.... There is a gap between the old makers and modern lutherie that Makes all theories to be just theories.
