I'm 67 with 60 chickens and quail, doing most of the work on my home and growing my own food. It's only my third year and I have plans to add rabbits. I only have a half acre in a small town in Texas so nit likely any larger animals but would love it if I could!.

I can only imagine how preoccupied both of you are with Ralph’s upcoming surgery, yet you keep doing all you do for us and I couldn’t be more thankful. Prayers continue for both of you. Soon it will all be in the rear view mirror and all will be well and back to some semblance of normal. By then LeaAnn will have the chickens lining up single file for wormies, the pigs will wait until their name is called to eat, and the dogs and goats will wait at each of their bowls to be filled. The dogs will also be able to brush each other with the brush mitts. BUT Ralph’s wormie dance will be back and better than ever! 😂😂 Love to you and lots of hugs. God bless

I would love to have prayer for the Doss family!!! I am going in on the 26th to have ankle surgery and removal of some broken bones in my ankle and tendon repairs done. I will continue to pray you grandpa and grandma as well as the rest of the Doss family!!!

Hi Grandma and Grandpa Doss. Ralph, you are in my prayers for a safe and successful surgery. Please don't fret about the animals...your sons and LeAnne will take wonderful care of them. In this video, you said that you appreciate all our comments...both positive and negative. I have a serious request - please do not kick at any of your animals. When you were trying to separate Magneto and Beep Beep, you kick towards Magneto. Yes, I realize that you did not make contact with his body and he wasn't hurt at all. My concern is that sInce your's is a family channel, there are children who watch your videos along with their parents and children may think it's okay to kick at an animal...but, they won't necessarily control the power of their kick and could seriously injure an animal. I've been watching your channel since it started and have enjoyed your journey with your mini-homestead!!!
I had to share with great pride what I have accomplished this week! I have single handedly taken over my son's back yard homestead while he is camping with his family celebrating his 40th birthday!
I am on day 3 of 5 going over every morning and start the watering system (DIY) set up and get that garden watered for our 107° to 110° heat of the afternoon and evening. As of this morning I have 3 large large dogs, 4 indoor cats, 4 baby chickens in the garage, 9 chickens outside and 2 ducks! Add on 2 guinea pigs and a bunny rabbit! 3 cat boxes cleaned daily, tons of different food each left in different places around their large back yard! Everyone has cold water for at least a few minutes plus I collected over 2 dozen eggs so far! I AM SO PROUD THAT WITHOUT EVEN KNOWING IT I HAVE BEEN A TEMPORARY FARM HAND!! Now I can check that off my bucket list!! ( I do this throughout the year but for a much shorter time. Thanks for letting me share and I have learned alot about the chickens but didn't do a chicken dance because I'm recovering from spinal surgery and not allowed to dance yet! Hope I shared a laugh or two. I have you actively on my prayers list and know that God's got this! Love and Hugs always!❤❤

@grandpadossfarms Thank you! My recovery is going great it's just slow and steady, but I already feel better than originally! I just can't take any chance of falling, that's why I am not allowed in the dog pen or chicken Coop! I am taking time to talk to them! The heat is the hardest thing!
