    In the position at 7:42, couldn't white play Ra6+, followed by Rb6+ and then nabbing the pawn on b3? Or am I missing something?

    • @jeremyshar2676
      @jeremyshar2676 9 лет назад +3

      Jerry Stayton You are missing something. Ra6+ Kb8 (not Kb7) Rb6+ Rb7 and the pawn is defended.

  • @Dequda

    zugzuan XD its ZUGZWANG, a german word. it literally means you are forced to move.

    • @liver1865
      @liver1865 7 лет назад

      You always have to move; every turn you must move.

    • @Dequda
      @Dequda 7 лет назад

      Thats why the word is so funny. It says factually nothing, only that you have to move. However, it gets used in such a context that you have to make a move that weakens you, just as you said, because he ahs to move.

    • @liver1865
      @liver1865 7 лет назад

      Basically, you're in a good position, and you don't want to move.
