@@anjalilodha32 Thank you! ✨ I’m glad you liked it! ❤️ Yes, you can use any yarn that you like but something that stretches less and is sturdy would be more preferable for a bag! 💕💕
Hi, I'm a beginner crocheter. So, I don't really know what dk weight. Also, the yarn you used, is it cotton or acrylic? I only know this much. Thanks for sharing the tutorial, planning to make it this weekend.
Dk weight yarn is category 3 yarn. Also it doesn't matter whether you use cotton or acrylic yarn, it just depends on your preference - what do you want the bag to be made out of. if you use a smaller category yarn like weight 2, the bag will be the same but smaller, (perhaps you could add more rows to the granny square in that case) or if you use a larger category like weight 4 the bag would be the same but larger. (Perhaps you could do less rows to the granny squares) It just depends on your preference on how big or small you want the bag to be, you're not obligated to use category 3 yarn (DK) if that makes sense
Could the last row of each square contain puffs stitches, or V stitches? My square was way too large, but taking out a couple rows to get to the previous double crochet row leaves the square too small.
Yes its totally fine to end on a row of V stitches or puff. I did that for my bag and it turned out nice. If you really dont like it you can just add a row of single crochets to end it@megacitationx
@@shayeriroy2844 Hey! I’m glad you found the tutorial helpful! And yes a DK weight yarn is a category 3 yarn and is usually preferred for making projects that are intended to be sturdy… You can of course use whatever yarn you like but if it’s a bag I would recommend using yarn that won’t stretch a lot! Further @catlover0101 has explained the technicalities very well ✨💕
