"They rode the cool Northeast trade winds across an ocean to The Island. They ended up in the bed of a plantation-green pickup truck, with a mad tour guide behind the wheel, and thrashing palmeras blowing above them. They rode stubby fishes and sleek shortboards through lurching, spitting sapphire surf. Each guy had a story, from the gonzo writer to the gypsy traveler. It was there on The Island where these eclectic friends converged one extraordinary winter to explore these foreign waters and revel in this dreamy island life… All aboard the Palmera Express."

Freshman thru senior year in highschool, stashing my board, wax, fins( kneeboarders get barreled deeper) in the bushes so I can cut class with Andy Harris(fellow kneeboarder w bitchin surf vw van) n some boyz fo a country sesh .. even if one of my teachers would actually call my house n rat on me cause she knew my mom was a highschool teacher .. the memories of perfect, empty rockys-Joccos-Logs-fiiiring Kammies n epic outside Pua'enas simply superseeded any ramifications of being grounded !! It's probably an unreleased studio demo. If you didn't know, Matt Taylor (Growlers guitarist) is good buddies with the Vissla crew and usually does the music scores.
