Ho rivisto dopo un po’ di tempo questo spezzone tratto da Diane e Acteon e sono rimasto ancor più affascinato da Vladimir Shklyarov, questo meraviglioso ballerino che per tecnica, classe, energia e fascino ritengo abbia pochissimi rivali in epoca contemporanea. Strepitoso!!! ⭐️Una vera Etoile internazionale 🌏
Una coppia di danzatori in possesso di straordinarie qualità tecniche, capaci di far apparire come normali e facili passi di danza di assoluta complessità … Shklyarov, poi, ballerino di scuola Vaganoviana, all’epoca giovanissimo e non ancora Principal del Teatro Mariinsky, dimostra tutta la bravura di cui è in possesso, bravura che sarà capace di portarlo con merito, di li a poco, tra le Etoiles più affermate del balletto classico internazionale! Un momento di puro piacere e video che rivedrò volentieri più e più volte 🎉
Grande impressione di facilità esecutiva d'acchito fattasi tensione elanista e motile sorprendente della ballerina unita a dei passi ad incrociamento sulle punte di difficoltà massima ed eseguito con disarmante naturalezza.Ottimo il mantenimento delle positure figurali sia nell'ensemble sia nel singolo. Impadronimento imperativo del proscenio attuato con balzi a compasso aperto e duplicazione di sforbiciate trasverse da parte del ballerino. SPETTACOLARE ED OLTREMODO BRAVA LA COPPIA DI PROTAGONISTI. Amazing!! She is so incredible with her solid technique, great timing and strength. Her legs are powerful as well as gorgeous. It is fun to watch a very young and energetic Vlad. ❤❤❤❤❤

it is a tragedy she is not principal, and I also think she is a stronger dancer than Somova, although Somova is great, and she is waaaaaaaaaaay better than Skorik... and on this pas de deux both of them do amazing...
If you take the playback speed up, suddenly the tempo is musically correct! (I have the score). Even the dancing suddenly seems alive rather than one pose into another.
Самая лучшая Диана нашего времени была и осталась изумительная Татьяна Терехова!!! Вот это техника была, образ настоящей блистательной, грозной Богини! ❤❤ К счастью, сохранились ее записи и с Бережным, и с Ковмиром. А здесь темп музыки именно замедлен, как и сказано, прямо " похоронный" какой то.
Not only perfect legs but also beautiful port de bras and fluidity of movenets from Osmolkina. I wish tempo for male variation and coda were faster tho.
As bad as Sku is, at least she works. The most outrageous person among MT principals is pudgy Pavlenko. What a dog in the manger. Work or go away...free some space (and principal salary) for someone who really works. Like Osmolkina, Novikova or Kolegova.
A little disappointing for me as I normally love Shklyarov - but I didn't get the impression of Actaeon being in wonderment at or in awe of the goddess Diana. I wanted this pas de deux to tell a story more. Also, I wish he had not resorted to acrobatics; he has no need to as he has great elevation. More, but slighly simpler jumps would have worked better for me - those straddle type split jumps in particular are just ugly imo. Fabulous dancing from Osmolkina - beautiful legs.
Modern day dancers need to stop with this abysmally slow tempi. If you take the playback speed up a notch, suddenly the tempo is musically correct! (I have a turn-of-the 20th century répétiteur of the score - but even without a score, just use your ears...if played at 1.25 speed the music is light years better and musically correct). Even the dancing suddenly seems alive rather than one pose into another pose, etc. when played at 1.25 speed. Enough already dancers! Slow tempi is death-dealing to ballet - it causes a chain reaction to occur- nothing has any life, and I am sure such tempi is why so many of today's orchestras loathe to play for ballet.

I love Osmolkina. I love the way she moves, I don't care what role or choreography. Fateyev should never be forgiven for not making her a principal.

The tempo of this is funereal. Osmolkina is such a wonderful ballerina... better than some of the Mariinsky's principals.

Those splits belong at the ice rink, not the ballet stage.
