    Mikhail Lobukhin is without a doubt the most virile dancer I have ever seen. His Spartacus is a stunner. He may not be the most graceful dancer in the world, but he's hot as hell!

    Thank you, so much, for posting this! I always tell my students of the unbridled passion of Russian dancers, and this shows that so beautifully!

    She was injured for a half year, if not more, but I've heard that she's revovered now. But still she doesn't dance, at least in Mariinsky. I've read she refused to dance some performances in Mariinsky and danced somewhere as a guest.

    Thank you for posting this. It brings so much pleasure each time I play it. This is a piece in which both the female and male dancers are superb. Usually I do not notice the male. He is there to provide support, make sure she doesn't fall over. But this guy is astonishing. Tarzan meets Diana.. And, the music! I had never even heard of this ballet before. Sometimes it sounds like Minkus, but it is by someone named Drigo?

    I have since seen quite a few other videos, other interpretations of this ballet, and none compare to this one.

    Just beautiful. Is this pas considered one of the most difficult in ballet, anyone know? It sure looks like it.

    @retusina. As you no doubt know, she is back and in fine form, perhaps better than ever.

    If you like him so much maybe intresting for you would be rumours that he's leaving Mariinsky and is to join Bolshoi...

  • @9415908
    @9415908 15 лет назад

    Really?!!! It seems like so many people from the Mariinsky make the move to the Bolshoi for some reason. Perhaps it is the right decision for him, but Andrei Merkuriev also left and doesn't seem to get as many roles there. But good luck to him whether he goes or stays.

    @looovecats REFUSED?? wow how do you refuse to dance at the Mariinsky? She should leave and go to the Maly, they would skyrocket with her there

    she's too slow. lacks attack. I wish Gelsey Kirkland would have danced this.....and had it filmed.
