    I’ve been playing Clarinet for almost 5 years now, and my mom got me this as a birthday present, since my Selmer Clarinet was needing more and more repairs done. I’m having to upgrade from this Clarinet to a Yamaha one. It would not stop squeaking, it was hard to put together, and felt extremely dry. We didn’t realize that this is just for people trying to get a feel for the instrument. Nice review though

    Thank you so much for this review. My 8th-grader has been playing clarinet this year and I just wanted to get him something he could play during the summer to keep his skills up. This seems like the perfect solution!

      @@Jared_De_Leon lies. They sent this to multiple other people who also did same video around same time as you. Bet there was no “honest opinion” thing either and they just told you to say that or you made it up. This is just a rebrand that comes from the same factory as Hisonic. You sir are a lowlife.

    And do you think buffet and those bigs names might be too hyped/overpriced?

    • @Jared_De_Leon
      @Jared_De_Leon  3 года назад +1

      Looks like a basic Chinese instrument, I doubt it’s very good. Like I said in the review Chinese instruments can be okay but even a student level Yamaha will be better. You don’t have to spend $5k to get a good pro level horn, but some of the instruments in that price range are definitely worth it. I love my Uebel Superior for example.

      I see...I used to want to become a pro musician, but now I just play for fun/hobby - I want to get a G clarinet (I see most Eastern clarinet players play Ohler system)
      I have Paul Kurt Wurtlitzer 2071 Bb clarinet or just B I guess - it's a Oehler system, made from wood, but idk if it's considered good? it's definetly not $1000 or more or a Buffet, but then again idk how much the brand matters tbh
      I am thinking about either tuning my existing Wurtlitzer tuned up or perhaps selling it to buy some other clarinet in B or G...I never used boehm, so I want to rent it out and see if I like it more (they say it's easier), but I don't want to spend like thousands for a hobby you know? I heard you can buy plastic clarinet and change the bell/barrel with wood and still have a good sound?

    • @Jared_De_Leon
      @Jared_De_Leon  3 года назад +1

      Axios O7 if you just want to try out a Boehm clarinet I would buy a refurbished Artley or Armstrong, which you can sometimes find for under $100. I wouldn’t bother with a wood barrel in your situation, it makes no difference to the sound. I would get a good mouthpiece instead.

      Carl N Noblets are great for the money, you can get them refurbished for a few hundred dollars. There’s also instruments like the Buffet E11 and the older Evette and Evette and Schaefer clarinets which can be quite good. Yamaha 32s and 450s are also easy to find used, but are in higher demand and can demand a higher price.
