Had the Kobalt bluetooth speak, now I have the jobsite radio. Love it. Use the hell out of it. You lift up the antenna and the groove is made to hold your phone.
Do the rear speakers work on yours? I hold mine up to my ear and can't hear anything from them. You can see they are they there through the mesh but it seems like they don't do anything at all?
I suspect they did that so when you pair 2 of those identical units together it's like true wireless stereo so you get one's a left channel and one is a right channel
And if I'm thinking correctly you can only pair 2 of them together you can't Daisy chain for one to the next to the next and have 12 of them linked together that would be nice but I don't believe it works that way
I love kobalt everything. But when they go half assed on the look it's just such an eyesore to have. I went with the FLEX. Which I also have the circular saw FLEX as well. Everything else kobalt. My garage starting to look like lowes.
Honestly almost all modern battery capable devices are becoming brushless I would refer to its manual to see. Maybe Google check it I'll check it myself.
It would have been nice to have a dedicated weather radio on it it also would have been nice to have short wet 1 and 2 and a ham tune are on it. But then again I'm a Radiohead.
No, I bought one for my four wheeler and I’m going to take it back. Even with volume all the way up on my phone and on the speaker it wasn’t loud enough when I was driving
@@breadfan9 I would say the Craftsman is just better sound wise and durability, never had a issue with them, even the DeWalt one which is basically the same as the Craftsman for some reason has shut off for no reason and speakers seem to vibrate a lot more
@@breadfan9 I heard this kobalt on a job site and it was fine does everything you need just to be honest but just think the Craftsman has better sound, especially bass
The sound is quite good. Don't expect Dolby surround sound out of it but with 6 speakers it's got decent range and clarity. There are 5 AM and an additional 5 FM radio presets too.
All that and yet the MOST IMPORTANT how does it sound!

Also holds cord

Volume on phone usually affects the device..thats the beauty of the bluetooth..can turn up/down and change from phone

How's the sound quality compare to other jobsite radios? How's the bass? Thanks!

A brushless radio?! I didn't think that was possible! 😂
All the Kobalt lights are brushless too 🤔
Just part of the brushless line lol had me confused too
@@kentucky4696 lol i got a laugh outta it haha 😂
@@Dron3sALaiRe lol i just ordered it…jbl dont have the durability I’m looking for but hopefully the kobalt has decent sound quality
@@kentucky4696 let me know how it sounds!
I wonder if the new 8amp battery is the same size as the 6amp battery
How can u tell if it's brushless. The vacuum don't say brushless so I assumed it was brushed, same with the inflator. Are they brushless also?
Honestly almost all modern battery capable devices are becoming brushless I would refer to its manual to see. Maybe Google check it I'll check it myself.
How’s the am/fm reception? Asking for drive in purposes
Works great. This would be a great companion at a drive-in theater!
That’s exactly why I’m buying one lol. I have kobalt batteries and a charger so why not?
It would have been nice to have a dedicated weather radio on it it also would have been nice to have short wet 1 and 2 and a ham tune are on it. But then again I'm a Radiohead.
Did you try to connect the devices together and then connect your phone to it?
Does this play in stereo or is it a mono radio
After you set the clock you don't have to reset clock again on it if you wait 30 seconds it'll stop flashing and I'll still be correct
Is this loud enough for my SxS?
No, I bought one for my four wheeler and I’m going to take it back. Even with volume all the way up on my phone and on the speaker it wasn’t loud enough when I was driving
Why even worry about batteries..who’s going to rely on a job site radio for the time?😂
Lol brushless radio thats a new one😂. Ill have to use that joke, even tho i think u were serious..
All the lights are brushless too 😎
Is that a grease gun on the box?. And is it a charger?
It's a caulk gun and no the radio is not a charger
@@OnTheWorkbench I saw the caulk gun there was something mid box with a hose it looked like a grease gun
@@BC-go2hm probably the sprayer
The Craftsman radio is better in my opinion, this radio is ok but the Craftsman slash DeWalt are better since there basically the same
I have both Dewalt radios like the ones yiu are talk8ng about.....how much better would yiu say than this one?

There's something very wrong with their tool listing and advertising
How’s the actual sound quality? It’s hard to pick that up through video.

Well damn. Now I need one. Thanks.
compared to the little jobsite speaker from kobalt, is this better quality and louder, or is it about the same?
@@CristianSalmeron this definitely has better sound quality and it's much louder than the smaller one, I have both.
