If you're wondering why Lex's Little Corner isn't making much profit, it's because you only have enough facilities to handle 10 customers per hour. One individual coffee machine or bakery showcase, etc, can only handle 10 customers per hour and you would need 4 of them to reach the 40 customers per hour your location can handle. Your shop's customer capacity is limited by your LOWEST capacity service (e.g. The 10 capacity from your cupcakes/croissants) and this can be viewed in the menu at 16:05 in your video. I could be mistaken as I haven't played the game myself and have only watched other peoples' playthroughs but I'm fairly certain this is the case. I'm looking forward to seeing you play this game again when you decide to return to it!
He has run the course with this game and I agree that until new features are added he'll be treading water till he simply walks from point a to point b and makes millions of dollars. The slog as they say.
To bad it's over for now. But I hope you play it again. I would recommend after a couple of updates you RESTART and start from the beginning. To see if it's harder.
Your shops are limited by "Maximum Customers per Hour" and at many shops the number is 30 and you have low profit because you dont have enough equipment to supply x amount of people. For example with cash registers , one is only supplying 20 people an hour and if your shop supports 30 people you need to buy second cash registers and if you have for another example shop that supports 30 people an hour and you have 2 cash registers ( or one checkout counter) but have equipment that doesnt supply the 30 people you will ve bottlenecked by the equipment that supplies the least amount of people.
You can see what chair is at any given desk in the Schedule window. And when assigning people there you actually see if they are happy with the setup or not.
As a suggestion I'd say achievement hunt, I'd be interested in watching you finish out all the goals but if you don't want to thats fine too, I enjoy most series
Aaaw. I wanted a little bit more lol. But it still was great, fun series! I hope there'll be more of this game, whether you put yourself on a difficult challenges (e.g. having shops with very low demand, having only jewelry shops, etc). A super difficult one would be very fun, because the current state is kinda, way way too easy.
You mean how you can grab a 200k loan from Vantander upon spawn, sleep on a bench for 5 days, grab a salad on the casino boat and safescum your way to 1 billion in like 40 minutes? Their roadmap does look like it will add more variety, prevent safescumming the casino and a bunch of other tweaks, new update is expected in May. Right now you have to make your own difficulty, like, you have to actively mark everything you sell down to get a margin you deem fair. Even without a casino, get the 200k loan, spend 5k on schooling and then grab lawyers. 1 Lawyer (recruitment + training + chair/desk/pc) is like 6000? 1 full time (49h) lawyer produces like 34k net profit a week (~5k/d) Meaning before day 10 you could quite easily be making 100k a day. All this to say, I fully agree, most aspects are far too easy, while some aspects are missing (Can I throw a big retirement party? Can I give my employees a bonus for doing a great job? One day I hope so) and 1 or 2 aspects are the other kind of silly. Spending 30 million on a building that produces 2500 a day is quite frankly insane, IRL 30m in rental properties would produce 150k a month. Since in the game a month is 5 days, you get less than 10% of that. Or how about the fact my cleaners, HR people, drivers and customer service workers all make less than I did at the grocery store? Love the game, but it's not without some serious balance issues. Oh, and the best part? Winnings from the casino don't count as income, so you can be a billionaire with a 50k tax bill. I guess that's on the more realistic end, but it's wild the game doesn't count it towards your net worth.
If you go to the schedule in your hq and hover over the computer on the side it tell you what chair and desk it has assigned to it. Makes it easier to move people around
Hmm... Hearing to the music during this playthrough reminded me of Pravus when he was playing Minecraft with the Tekkit mod years ago~ Aaaaaah~ Good times, good memories~ ^^
that Hell's Kitchen office became my tech hub. The full-time programmers get focus-workspace circles in the fully-furbished larger area and the part-time plebs get a circle in one of the smaller rooms with some ugly green desks lol. Hopefully in the next few months the game's updates will get you to return
100k gets you a truck which can haul 18 sets of desk+chair+pc. Delivery from Ikea and the office furniture store staggered out at 10am and 2pm can deliver another 12 sets. Means in half a day you can put 30 office spots together. Yeah I'd like blueprints to easily just slam down 300K and get my 50 desk set up with the proper floor and walls but I personally find the hiring of 144 lawyers (I do 2 offices at the time, 36 FT and 36 PT lawyers in each, and 6 HR at 100% can be paired up to have 6x 1/25 which leaves 144 spots amongst them for lawyers) to be more work. 1 Truck would fit 18 sets (54) + 1 handcart + 4 shelves and a cleaning station. Put the shelves right inside the door so you can easily run back and forth from truck to shelves. Once it's all inside you can pause while you grab everything from the shelves and place it. It's a chore, but you're making it harder for yourself. I personally enjoy the 'choking out the competition' stage of the game. Once you're making about 1.5m a day, you can kill 2 competing businesses per week. I've had to spend like 80 million, but I choked out all other law offices, so now if they want a lawyer it's me or no dice, which is why they are fine with the $1000-$1250/h I'm asking.
I liked watching you play democracy (commented here, pretty sure you wouldn't read those comments). I loved learning about the Technology and 15 dollar an hour thing. Huge respect.
After all the the actual effort of working and make money, Prav ended up on International Waters. Too bad the developers doesn't have swimming mechanic in this game...😅
you could have just more them around from the schedule, when you hover the pointe on the slot it tells you information about the desk, computer and chair, that way you can assign the right employee to it
Is this game in Early access, I was saying a video or 2 back that the office and store fits look like a pain, they should have made it like a traditional builder game rather than ordering and running the stuff to the place looks more like a chore, maybe do that at the beginning but as you get to mid/late game do it more like Sims. enjoyed this series hope they expand an you come back
"Gambling is the only reliable way to make my character happy" Or you could have just BOUGHT A TV! Im sure hte local stock news would be VERY intersting for someone like Mr. Big Money. and/or a gaming console, cus everyone needs a little gaming in their life.
Buy every building in New York! Borrow money from banks to buy real estate. That way you don't actually lose 8 million dollars immediately, the income earned should cover interest and expenses, and whatever is left over is yours to keep.
Hello Pravus, I know you have a zillion and one game offers given to you on the daily, however, Satisfactory is a game developed by Coffee Stain and its really, really, really great for people that want to take raw resources from around them and make a automated factory simulator. From the ground up, I was wondering if you ever saw the game or had interest in the game and if those FPS base building/sandbox crafting games was up your alley? Fear not if you say no, I'll continue the IV drip on myself and bother you no more about it.
Pravus, you are only complaining about the chair employees because in real life you work mostly with other engineers. Common sense isn't all that common.

Ronald needs better clothes, a nicer place to live (house? penthouse?), and maybe a boat. Material wealth is the only wealth that matters!
Your traffic issues lay in the capacity per hour from chashiers and other appliances. They have a limit per hour on them
