Hey this looks delicious. I prefer ground beef over regular beef anyway. Well I have some good news. I we nt and finished filling out an application for one of the apartments and she told me that I can get in about 3 or 4 months. Finally one that isn't going to take a year or more. Now I really gotta get cracking on packing things up. I have a feeling I'm going to have to get a storage unit. Get to babysit tomorrow. Can't wait! Hope your having a good weekend. As far as the Super bowl I slept through it. I didn't really know the ones in the half time show so I slept.

Dave , great recipe & yes on us & the girls, & beef is not nearly as costly here as it is there. Grocer's make ground chuck out of chuck roast & here you can buy a chuck roast cheaper than ground up & I use that for this recipe . Cut the roast meat in 1×1 inch squares across the grain & it will be tender. My sides are going to be par boiled baby carrots, drained & sauteed' in butter & honey. Crescent rolls to dip in the gravy sauce. For folks on a really tight budget a can of evaporated milk is rich & can be used in place of heavy cream. Keep your stick on the ice pal. Btw Dave , we are called hillbillys, but also briars( like Briars/ thorns on a bush & ridge runners because of all the hills/ridges in the region , lol, truth

I was into football pretty heavily years ago until the players started kneeling during our national anthem and i stopped watching and supporting anything football. I thought most of the commercials this year were far better than they have been. They were playful and clever and not so,preachy as the last few years. Game was boring for a few quarters too and I didn’t really like the half-time performance even tho I like Usher. Post Malone and Reba McIntyre were first rate and I didn’t mind seeing Carrot Top eating a hot dog.

When I use ground Beef, I add about 20g of dried cremini mushrooms to get that umami kick of better Beef cuts.

The chuck roast works Dave , less costly than sirloin , etc...hillbilly terms will keep coming , see you at the lodge
I've been making ground beef stroganoff for years and I think it's just as good and way cheaper then the original tenderloin.
