I just want to correct the narrative about why there are more women in nursing homes than men. While in some cases it may have something to do with the relationship the mom has with their children, that situation doesn't represent the vast majority of. It is due to the fact that women outlive men, they have illnesses / chronic health conditions that require more specialized care that families can't provide (ie. Alzheimers), economic factors (low income), so their family can't afford to take care of them, women are more likely to utilize health care services and seek professional assistance more so than men.
Over the years I had to learn how to actually spend time with the person I was with. I would choose my own hobbies, my boys, and family over my significant other. Now as a 36 year old man, I had to learn the importance of spending time with my partner and I love every minute.

Good morning,for the victim/survivor there is no time limit on abuse, rape and trauma. However, there is a statue of limitations which expired. In terms of Cassie bringing a criminal case time expired in the criminal court, so she went to the civil courts. I wish her healing and a happy life.🙏🏾🖤

And we don’t know Cassie’s trauma history, she may have been sexually abused as a child. We can never question a persons right to break their silence.

Regular men just want someone strong and have their Boundaries and standards...like necessarily a challenge or feel that we have to chase them. That's my only correction to that. What happens when after 4 years things change more kids and the man thought it would be rainbows and sunshine and he cheats and now wants the relationship to work but the women doesn’t know if she can continue with that betrayal that she has had in a previous relationship?
