- Today we install and compare the two newest cp-e axle back exhausts for the Subaru WRX and Subaru STI 2015+. First one is their Austenite Axle Back Exhaust with Quad Mufflers and Black Tips and the second is their Austenite Off Road Axle Back Muffle Delete Exhaust with Polished Tips. I want one for my 2018 Sti!!!🤗🤙
the fit for the sti version was annoying but it did work. had to use the smaller cpe provided 13mm bolts since you can’t reuse the stock 15mm bolts. you have to use the provided gasket as well as it also has an extended hole on one side for the 13mm bolt to fit properly.
long story short: STI version just gets thinner 13mm bolts and custom gasket to make it fit. Does look and sound good though! Would go for something made specifically for the STI next time though.
