90% of the time its the small simple stuff that needs repaired or replaced to get things back up and running correctly..
This is what I tell my Mazda customers all the time..
Glad you this was an easy fix for you..

Hi Daniel, I’m no mechanic but I always have a go if I think I can do it.
It’s the knowledge and experience that a mechanic has that makes the job easier and that’s why you see it as simple stuff, to most of us it’s black box stuff, the skill is knowing what black box isn’t working.

I also have a 304 cr. But my Injector lines and glow plugs are not accessible from the back. I have to take the seat out to get to them. Very strange

Hi Kyle. I guess different years have different designs. Mine is a 2006 I think.
I have had to access the starter motor through a small hole behind the seat. What a pig of a job, the hole is too small. I felt like taking an angle grinder to it and making some room. 😀

@@TheRuralProject I’m pretty sure the engine in mine is spun 180 degrees of yours because my starter couldn’t be in a better place. Open the hood and wham. Right there could have it out in minutes lol. I’m having some wiring issues at the moment that I believe is glow plug related which is how I stumbled across your video. I have a Intermittent dead short that’s on the same fuse as , fuel pump and alternator. I unplugged both of the two and ran a hot wire to the fuel pump to start it and still blows the fuse.

@@kylebrown8891 wiring issues…. Grrr. My latest wiring issue ( excavator is standing dead on my access road ) is blowing 1 of the 50amp fuses every time it starts. Engine starts, fuse blows, cannot turn engine off with key ( have to use kill switch in engine bay) and all electrics and hydraulics are dead, so I cannot move it out of the way.
Hopefully I’ll get to look at it this weekend.
