A solo 24-hour backpacking trip into the James Peak Wilderness to fly fish for cutthroat trout.

Nice fish on that first lake! Any recs on flies for alpine lakes?

Terrestrials (chubby, ants, hoppers, etc.) as dry flies, with weighted nymphs tied on 18” of tippet to the hook of the terrestrial!
