This is a Black Sabbath cover from when "Dio" was the lead singer. I believe Ronnie James Dio wrote this it came out in 1980 I'm sure you can look up the lyrics and the meaning of the song by a Google search. By the way Melody also plays the flute in their cover of 'Close My Eyes Forever " which was Originally done by Ozzy and Lita Ford.

The other band members play other instruments as well. In addition to guitar, Sam also plays violin, Abigail’s first instrument was the accordion before she learned drums, Melody who started out as their bass player plays flute as you saw in this video, Ethan in addition to playing bass originally played rhythm guitar and is currently learning drums and Justin the keyboard player is currently learning guitar. Melody certainly has an amazing vocal range! They have a new original out too, if you haven’t seen that it’s Rise Up.

The actual first verse is "The less that you give you're a taker". The original song was from Black Sabbath in 1980. The original music was from the lead guitarist of Black Sabbath, the great Tony Iommi (eye-OWE-me). The lyrics were from Black Sabbath's singer at the time, the great Ronnie James Dio.
"The world is full of kings and queens that blind your eyes and steal your dreams" Dio himself said that was the best line of lyrics he ever wrote.....Nice cover to a great song.

I couldn't pick up all the lyrics and there don't seem to be any on line yet, but, I absolutely loved the heaviness and drive in this song. And, Melody's voice is absolutely wonderful. That sustained scream/cry at the end was perfect, as was the totally unexpected flute solo that came after.
Look up the lyrics under Black Sabbath. This is a cover from the Ronnie James Dio era of Black Sabbath.
This is their tribute cover of 1980's DIO/BLACK SABBATH song, they pretty much stayed with the essence of the original just putting the Liliac stamp on it . If you asked a 100 people to explain the lyrics I'm sure you would get 100 answers, thats what I love about music and poetry, it's all up for individual interpretation, and for me personally it doesn't matter as long as I enjoy the performance . Melody certainly can hit those perfect 4 octave screams which have the hint of throat whistles . They all can play multiple instruments, Melody's being the bass guitar and the flute which she apparently taught herself in the space of a year , the only other song I've seen her play it on is their tribute cover of Ozzie Osborne's and Lita Fords CLOSE MY EYES FOREVER which is definitely worth a look and listen .great reaction keep them coming FANG4LIFE RORH.

Lady, this is literally a cover of the classic Black Sabbath song from 1980. During the Ronnie James Dio era, which was between 1979 and 1982. And then once again in 1992. He sung on "Heaven and Hell," "Mob Rules," and "Dehumanizer."

@@ket0_t0ne39 you don't know me .I realy want Liliac to succeed.i think they are very talented and could be huge but I don't know why they keep releasing covers.though in my opinion most of their covers are better than a lot of their own stuff.i personally believe they need some proper guidance. Just my and a lot of other people's opinion
Of the 5 videos released this year alone...3 were ORIGINALS....Plus a Nirvana Cover...they also released their "Madness" Album of 11 Original songs....so, I guess you don't know too much about them?@@michealridgway7607
