I'm thinking about doing the Lone Rider foot pegs when we're done traveling. Similar to these with a little more control, but these seem awesome. First thing I did with my 1200 is change the foot rests, because I was already used to wider foot pegs.
@@rostfomin The ones for the Tiger 900 will work for the Scrambler 1200 and the Street Scrambler. At least they should, as people have used Tiger foot rests on both bikes. I'll be getting them soon if you want to bug me to make sure.
I’ll be interested to see what you think about them after putting much time on them. I’ve been against adding them to my GSA as coming from a road racing background I don’t like any flex to take away from my feel of the bike.
How is the scrambler compared to the T700? Is the rideheight similar and the suspension? I had a T700 but sold it since it was rather heavy for the 70hp…
I mention my thoughts on the T7 in my review video on the scrambler - and also show the weights and talk about how it affects your decision based on the types of riding you wanna do so check those out (it’s more entertaining than me rambling via text!)
Hey mate just stumbled across your channel. I'm hoping to get a 1200xe sooner or later. Just curious as to what your fuel range is and do you carry extra fuel? I'm thinking if I run a single rack on the left I could put a rotopax there.
Glad you stumbled here 🤗 fuel range varies a lot depending on the type of riding. On a highway I get 230km+ (haven’t pushed past that, maybe could push for 250~km maybe in good conditions. Off-road is generally less but I’ve never run out of fuel, I’ve always been able to get to a fuel station. Rotopax are a good range extender I’ve had a few mates use them on other bikes across the desert. What sort of trips are you planning?!
@@lifeofascrambler I'm currently riding a honda cb500x which can get 450km to a tank if I baby it (its great bike but it's lacking that excitement factor). Im in northern rivers NSW so up and down the Gibraltar range, a few camps, I'd like to ride to Phillip Island for the gp and also go north to Cape York eventually.
I NEED SOCIAL GARAGE!!! What a great concept
To replace the pegzls, i simply put it in 6th gear and bungeed the lever upwards. This created enough space to remove the footpeg pin.
I thought exactly the same while watching this
Brother, Waiting for more videos..
Love your scrambler series and your social garage idea sounds 👍 awesome.!!
Great stuff 👏...I'm planning on getting some Pivot Pegz for my T7...glad it's a simple install. Scrambler looks great 👍

Interested to hear how they go! I haven't tried/looked into them much, but I can see they're a bit more $$
All my bikes have Pivot Pegz, they are fantastic.
I wanted to try Lone Rider pegs, but they don’t have them for Scrambled unfortunately

How about the clearance on the road compared to the original?
(scraping of the footrests on the asphalt)
More, less or the same clearance?
You don’t scrape the pegs on these bikes, not on asphalt anyway, they are too high off the ground
I've been looking at these. Would be interested to hear your thoughts after a few decent rides.

Realistically though most of my rides are local or semi local blasts. Also, I really like the idea of a social garage. Wish there was one close to me.
Wd 40 would make things easier for fixing
its good for some things but the 'WD' stands for 'Water Displacement" so it tends to dry out certain things!
Do you have a link to purchase these Pegz?
Yes indeed! pivotpegz.com/products/copy-of-triumph-2019-2020-scrambler-1200-xe-xc
