- 50mm lowerong springs from H&R works great with Bilstein B8 on 19" wheels, holds great in cornes and still comfy enough for daily driving
Road is full of potholes I had to avoid to not bent my rims
Currently running just the 50mm lowering springs on stock struts and the ride is pretty awful so looking to grab some b8s to complete the kit!
Seems to ride very well.. I hear that you feel the smaller bumps a lot more with the B8's - I have 20mm lower sport springs for my car and very carefully considering which dampers to use.
I have 225/35/19 tires and 50mm lowering springs, so you feel the road more. If you have just 20mm drop oem dampers should work well not harsh like sporty B8
@@creexxx I went with B8's in the end.. Cayman R springs for my 987.2 Cayman - Seems to ride firm which I like - Not Harsh really unless really really bad roads.Cayman R dampers would have been a better option though.
@@MagicAyrtonforever glad to hear that it was a good choice. I recently traveled 1000km through 4 countries for vacation, without any complains about the ride comfort. Only like you said - on really bad roads
I got for my dkoda octavia 2 vrs bilstein 8 and vogtland 50mm lowerimg spings.what you did with shock bumps in rear you left them original or cut them, because I heard that need to make tham shorter
I kept the original bumps, no issue there
I have the mk2 facelift and have eibach lowering springs. Lowered 1.5 inches upfront and 1 inch in the rear. Will b8 shocks be too harsh a ride? I'm rolling on 225-45-17 tyres.
Stock dampers will work fine with your eibach, b8 will be to harsh, better in corners but over bupms will be firmer
stock dampers will wear out quicker, make your car bouncy and eventually fail
Thanks for the advice. 👍🏾
Jak máš přidělanou kameru prosím ? :-)
