There is a vacuum line that runs from front right across the top by throttle towards the back with a turn back on it. Where does that end go? You have it sitting on the breather box. TYIA.
I took all the emissions stuff off. I believe the hose ur referring to goes to the air valve unit. The I capped everything but the crank case breather hose.. which also goes to the same air type valve. I'm going off memory I sold the little 4 wheeler and got her a DRZ110 6 months ago. Sorry I hope that helps
@@EastTexasADV Thank you. People mess with stuff that shouldn't even pump gas, lol. Over the 6-years (2015 model) someone had it tucked up. It does have a vacuum on it. Yes the other side goes to the breather lid.
@@baglag4768 I hope that helps. I know what you mean just because some people own tools doesn't mean they should use them it's kind of like welding just because you can well doesn't mean you should necessarily as the old saying goes
Not sure with out seeing it. Not to sound like a smart ass but maybe let it warm up a bit more. If I remember correctly w this one she would jump on it after letting it warm up a bit and run it at a good click for a little bit. Otherwise it would die also
@@EastTexasADV I was riding it today been riding for 20 mins and it was running perfect but it randomly died going up a hill. Like it was out of gas. I thought I was out of gas. So I backed up so I was sideways and level on the hill and switched over to reserve. Started right back up. No other issues. Checked and the tank was 3/4 or so. Not sure what happened. Hit that same hill 4 more times and it never happened again.
@@EastTexasADV I added some sta bil brand small engine fuel system cleaner and some chevron Techron to the gas filled it up and ran it. After about 2-3 miles it quit doing that all together. Seems to be starting up much easier also I think the carb is dirty so that’s next on my list but it’s running so good I might wait until winter to pull it apart… thoughts?
@@code3responsevideos872 definitely dirty. Ya I'd try and pull it out w fuel still in the bowl if u can. That way when u open it up u can see what's floating around in there. I bet a just got junked up. Antiny bit of dirt ect will cause a lot of problems
Thank you for making this video! I was able to fix my son's quad myself and not have to pay a repair shop to fix it.
Your welcome and thank you for the kind words. That's why I do videos as to help. So glad it helped you.
Thanks man, was looking for something like this to take my kids KFX 50 apart. Did not want to pay $300 for the local shop to do this.

Very detailed view on how to clean an atv carb
Thank you for the compliment. Glad it helped
Thanks mate. Just bought the 50cc version and won’t start without some Aero start, so I’ll give the carby a clean using your video
Thank you. I hope it helps you.

Where does the hose at the bottom of the carburetor go connected to ??
@@aaroncastillo5616 just saw this question. Not sure which hose. But if it comes off the bottom it's a overflow hose. Hooks to nothing.
Mine is stalling out when the automatic choke first cuts out when it’s cold.

@@code3responsevideos872 might be a stuck float. That would be my guess

Your very welcome. Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment.
Do you think it’s possible to put bigger carb w manual choke
I'd stay the same size carb. If u want more fuel, I'd just swap out the main jets.
Does this carb have a vacuum line so I can install a vacuum fuel pump
It's been a while but I don't think it did. Carbs for these are well where only like $40
How do you take off the body can you make a video of it
Yeah I'm sorry my daughter has moved up 2 dirt bikes and fortunately I no longer have this 4-wheeler
