This is video is not waste as mentioned by many people here , infact that means they have just software issues but here it's highlighted that hardware needs to be changed. I have spent 6-7 hours overall in changing settings and trying many things with the help of LG chat bot but all was in vein . Today after registering a complaint came to know that there is a Wifi PCb which needs to be changed. But the service provider is asking high to change it I.e. 3500/- am just checking online if I can change myself the part.
It is possible to change to self but need some technical knowledge if you don't have then , plz do not open the tv yourself...
You can change it by self. It's not PCB at first. open the back and clean the FFC CABLE (right mid) and module (at center bottom). Unplug it from socket>clean>insert again.
Try it once.
If it still doesn't work then change the cable. It's cheaply available

This problem is related to Wifi chip "Hardware Problem", can not solve by changing country, lower power consumption, factory settings, also HDMI or other on or off.
So don't want time to wait or searching solutions.
Repairing cost is nearly 50$ max

i found out how to fix it without having to contact support. I just reset all the settings. (General > Reset to Initial Settings.) My tv works just fine now and i haven’t had any issues with it and the Wifi problem.

Bro if your tv is 3 4 year old I think it's natural so you should call lg engineer to replace you wifi module if you want it'll cost 2500 to 3000 thousand

My LG kept disconnecting and I was about to throw it off the roof until I unplugged the HDMI cables I had for 2 gaming systems. It immediately solved the problem that I’ve had for 2+ years. I guess small changes can have huge effects. Best of luck all
Thanks for the tips I mean the solution. I removed my MI 4K box HDMI cable and did a reset to factory and now I am able to see the Wifi option and able to connect. Hope this is one of the best solution and i hope LG needs to fix its crap software. how come we should live with out connecting an external HDMI as apps are limited in webos. Any thnQ.

Changing the location between Canada and U.S. turns the wifi back on for me but a better fix is to unplug the wifi module and dust it out. Very simple to do.

I have faced the same ..the issue is mainly due to not exiting apps properly mainly RUclips..if you jump on to another app without proper exit ..final root cause is remove the wifi panel which is hanged plug inside the tv and fit again for this I have paid lg service guy 767 RS .

I am facing same issue , but some time it's start automatically showing wifi. Barely I can use it 3 to 4 days and it's stops connecting. I don't exactly reason for this behavior. Only I can understand there are better other companies for smart TV than LG. Never ever buy LG

Having the same damn problem . Have been for quite some time now . Resetting it doesn’t help WiFi still turned off and even using an ETHERNET cable helps a bit but still lacks and disconnects all the time . No problems on any other device . Plz some help

You will have to change the inbuilt dongle to reconnect the wifi it is a hardware issue
edit - if you room has a sudden change in temperature the dongles connection might be affected just wait for you room to cool down and then try
