This sermon, with its wonderful empathic tone, shows the real heart of C.H. Spurgeon. As one who knew deep and protracted depression himself at times, he is able to express a solemn connection with the despairing. He knew the Word of God too well to lose sight of His Saviour or the glorious hope found in Him. It was a great blessing for me to read. I hope it will be a blessing for you to hear.

I have faith from God that all will be ok soon, this world will pass, and I am promised a place by our Lord and Savior.
