I needed this message today; it spoke with power straight to my heart. For me it's very timely since a friend just received test results that are alarming. These are troubling, difficult times for her, and her mind and soul tremble with fears and doubt. She is in great need of loving encouragement and tender words full of hope based on the promises and tender mercies of our Loving Heavenly Father. For God is Faithful (!) and He will help His people in all times - in both good and bad times, and in the severest afflictions. Thanks be to God, for He will help us and bless us. For God is not dead, and He will help all who call on Him in Truth!
I am thinking “cheery” means what we now call ENCOURAGING
I like the word cheery.
