Favorite character was who most fans refer to as alucard 2.0, the look in his eyes , the sheer hatred on his face when he rescued the elves , and saw their ravaged bodies, just made me understand why humans and even a few other drifters feared him . He went from " War is Fun" to " Fuck this , now it's time to go to work."
He always has this look in his eyes, like he is a deadman walking and just wants some more heads for the palace he is gonna build out of them in the underworld

Haven't seen Drifters in awhile and I haven't listened to Blues Seraceno for awhile. This reminded me of why I love both.

first time I've heard of this anime, the artstyle feels like Hellsing Ultimate. Wonder if this is from the same artist or group of people that made that.
they have the same mangaka. Kouta Hirano. drifters was the next project after he finished the Hellsing manga.

Been way too long! The VA and animation is so good that the manga is kinda meh compared.
I just hope the author doesnt pull a Robert Jordan. Granted he did find another to finish his work. Sanderson is pretty good in his own.

sadly not enough manga material for season 2. they need like 20 more chapters minimum. but at the pace the chapters are released its looking grim.

Drifters is exactly the place where Doom Slayer would fit in. He WILL pick the Drifters as his squad if he shows up
Chris Wu What’s not to love about this anime? It’s literally the most manliest one out there besides the obvious ones. It’s about samurai, Viking dwarves, cowboys, teaming up. All warriors respect the warrior’s code, and all warriors respect a brother-in-arms. I’m part-Japanese and I love how it depicts the absolute brutality of the samurai and the samurai code. Also I love how it shows the weebs, that we didn’t just use katanas and we love guns. Especially revolvers. We love the IAIDO that a revolver or a handgun provides. A gun is fun, and a huge sword is fun too. Katana, claymore, zweihander, it don’t matter none to us. As long as the job can get done.
Also, Doom Eternal is fucking amazing and I wish we got an OVA by this anime studio on Doomguy leading the Night Sentinels into combat.

There are 2 episodes of season 2 but the rest is not aired because of lack of material.
