Mike, have you ever heard of someone's jaw beginning to pop AFTER receiving tmj massage?? It happened to a client of mine 2 days ago and I'm not sure what to do. Idk if it is because I left things very uneven tension wise, or if the loosened muscles altered the biomechanics of the joint in relation to the disc, or if it was from holding her mouth open in a certain way or what but we need to figure out what to do about it. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
@@massagewithmike have you ever heard of this happening, or heard of massage causing internal derangement? Like lateral to medial pressure on the lateral pterygoid pushing the disc medially?
