Great shirt! Just in case you didn't know, the black swan is the official state bird of Western Australia. The capital of WA is Perth, and the Stones played Perth Arena.
This ironic. I just now saw your "Final PT" video, then found the new channel. Bad business. Now for the irony: A divergent opinion. American Woman was recorded before the release of LZ II, or Whole Lotta Love, so I don't think Randy Bachman could have lifted the riff from Page. If you were talking about Willie Dixon's old song, then I'm on less sure footing. This song originated in early 1969 when Randy Bachman broke a guitar string on stage, and was re-tuning, running thru chords, on a cold winter night in Canada. The crowd loved the ensuing jam and tossed together lyrics. It was not recorded until August 13, 1969, and not released until March 1970 So, this song was recorded before the release of LZ II (October 31 1969) or the Whole Lotta Love single (11-07-69). That's as confrontational as I will ever get. Hope your new channel is great, and trouble free. I watch lots of your vids.
Just stumbled on your videos while looking for help with Blue Sky and wanted to take a moment to Thank You for all you put out. So glad you started this channel and didn't let the negativity keep you down!

Like the black swan shirt. America's Cup, don't leave Perth without it.
If ever I'm looking for guitar lessons I come here first
I like the intro too, there's an interesting contrast in it.
Nice amp reverb JJ!
@:15 Did that not just sound like "Superstition" ? HA!!
At the beginning of the vid, you play it kinda funky. I like that a lot better than the recording. Is this a Randy Bachman riff?
Great video, nice to finally see a cover of this. Onya. and by the way ,did you see the Stones in Australia??? Just curious cause of the thick accent.
Great tone, nice rhythm playing! You guys went to Perth a few years ago? One of my "bucket list" trips I've yet to take:).
Do you happen to collect Stones shirts? I've seen you wear a whole bunch of cool, unique ones with the different styles of the logo
Good lesson. Yeah, you can hear the Whole Lotta love similarity. LZ covering Old blues guys.
Thanks for the Canadiana! Randy hosts a radio show up here now. It's pretty good.
Just today I was listening to different versions.... thanks!
Def'n harder to play than it looks. Took a bit.
Great video on a classic song.
Very clean.
what amplifiers do you use?
Peavey Vypyr 100
Great, :)
Hey JJ, great playing as always! Does your SG have the Peter Green neck pickup out of phase thing going on?
Yes, it does.
Very cool, sounds great. Thanks, man -- rock on severely.
Ron Hedblad Good catch man.
Thanks, John. Leave it to James to find the Special Sauce that makes everything sound righteous! Rock on, man
What effects units do you use on rock songs.
Some gain, delay, reverb. On this one, I also had some tremolo.
Cheers James, what is your opinion about using compression?
My opinion is every guitar player should find a tone they like.
