Its not Ohm (electrical resistance ;-) nor OM (actually AUM) the sound of creation (also known as Big Bang ;-) It is "overtone singing". That is quite an art and only few people can do this. It means to produce two frequencies with one mouth. It can be used for meditative purposes, because it requires concentration. I'm impressed the can produce this offhand.
@sharikkapitoshka yes its called diphonic chant. indians use it as a mantra, its the ohm. just make ooohhhhhmm... opening and closing your mouth slowly and gradually, and youll end up making that. it's easy to make, you just need to practice
Great that exactly what am doing in my bathroom... Unfortunatly my patner doesn't like this at all... She 's greating a third sound when she sing the O and U sounds together... We call that in french... Chant diphonique... And its also practice in Mongolia.
She's demonstrating a sostenido (opera stuff), means how long she can hold breathe or voice or whatever she's doing with her mouth. No english required. You're welcome.
actually anyone can learn to do this. i did it in my bathroom after watching a tutorial and it worked (i'm already a singer so i'm not sure if that has anything to do with it). it's just a resonance technique involving placement of the tongue and shaping of the mouth. look for a tutorial on here - there are plenty i'm sure.
She's singing 2 notes at once... it's called Throat Singing... look it up, there's video of the Tuvans and Mongolians doing it here. It's cool as hell.
I assume this french artikel of the Wikipedia explains it well. The German one does, but the English one is not so good. Anyway, what I ment to say is, that it is not a mystical thing, just a vocal technique.
She insane. Gorgeous. And she's got the voice. THE voice. I love Nina (H)
Wow that was REALLY amazing. i can hear the harmonics! and i think that's definitely NOT easy at all
She's somewhere between extremely cute and scarey! I'd love to meet her off camera and see what she's like in person

It is the nature of genius to be misunderstood.
siempre habia visto a esta mujer en duos con oopmh o apocalyptica pero ahora me estoy empezando a interesar por nina, es rarisima
When I saw her picture for the first time, I expected her to be crazy, but I didn't expect her to be this crazy.
@SuperMontsy Yes, the show is "coucou c'est nous" translation : "Hello it's us" LOL. From Paris (France).
It's called "overtone" singing - actual throat singing is a lot more gutteral sounding... still, very neat trick (I just learned how to do it).

Nina is the only truly uniq rebell. Everybody else are just stereotypes. The uniqness makes her music art.

Actually, this looks like Throat Singing. Whatever it is, I'm impressed, though I wish the sound quality was a bit better.
