Thanks for sharing the cost and for saying when you got a good deal. $3500 for an S54 and Tranny is amazing. You definitely did your homework. How long did the swap take you from start to finish? My e36M3 LS3 swap is about 70% complete (CARB legal). Lots of lesson learned :)
Thanks man, definitely got a smokin deal with the prices of S54’s in general. I did spend a lot of time studying what to do and what not to do. The swap took me about 35 days. I didn’t have to do emissions since I have classic car insurance I would have had to source a few other parts, it can be done though.

Yes, I saw the haggerty video of the S54 E36 swap that is California legal and can only imagine what that cost. Lots of money lol

85k on S54 WITH tranny for $3500 is not a great deal, it’s a give away deal of a year! Nice work!

@@MotorsportThrottle not a bad choice. Unfortunately I don’t have one. I have an e36 M3 sedan that I want to do a swap on. I want one LS swap and one s54 swap. Lol. Love the e36
How much hp u making?
I’d probably say around 320-330whp with this tune, maybe more if I upgrade my intake to a CAI
