Let's be realistic here, physical games cuts in to profit and will be obsolete in 5-8 years. New consoles are sold without disc drives. Like with many things, either get on board or get out of the way... It's how progress moves.
@@kirkhuff1124 I agree to an extent. I feel like people are scared of losing access of games if they're digital only with the thought of them being a collectors item or just personal property in general but I don't think today's games have that sort of nostalgic potential like games had in the 80s and 90s. I have physical copies of all my games from Sega Megadrive/Genesis all the way to PS4 but starting with PS5 I've gone digital.
Happy new year for everyone! I’m looking forward to getting a PSVR2 for my birthday (which is only in March) but before I’ve decided to do some research. I was actually going to buy a Quest 3, but I’m so glad I didn’t get it. Just from what I’ve seen on this channel and others, I’m already so excited to play on this headset.
@@guizz12 it’s great although i would recommend looking for some games your interested in now bc some are on sale for cheaper than usual because of Christmas and I’m just gonna go ahead and give you my favourite game which is vertigo 2
@ Yeah, I’m looking at some games in the christmas sale and I’m probably going to buy some games. It’s also good because then when I get the VR I will have what to play.
@ a few games have demos for when you have the headset for example subside, star wars tales from the galaxy’s edge and btw don’t let it put you off just because your not using lightsabers most the time it’s fantastic
@ Yes. I already have the playstation plus and it has many games I want to play, and also they have free trials of very good games, but that I can only do once I get the headset.
Dude.. my experience with PSVR2 on PS5 has been a breath of fresh air. Gt7 blew my socks away, and pavlov is a lot more stable and smooth, Alien Rogue Incursion is an Effing blast, especially for someone who grew up with all the alien movies on cable 😅 No mans sky is literally breathtaking for me. I am truly convinced that VR is the future of gaming, Playstation will be the ones who normalize it. The best part is that VR is amazing for story one player games. And once in a while, some multiplayer, but as for storytelling, yea, you can't beat it when using a high-end monitor, Vr makes it special.
Great video, man. I keep forgetting about Midnight Walk and Firmament, despite the fact that they both look great. I really hope Firmament in particular does well, since I'd love to see the Cyan Worlds also port Myst and Riven to PSVR 2. And yes, Ace Combat 8 needs to happen in VR. I really like your comparison of GT Sport > GT7 being like AC7 VR > AC8. I just got GT7 in the holiday sale and it's INCREDIBLE! It'd be amazing to get a fully fleshed out triple-A Ace Combat game playable start to finish in VR, since AC7's limited VR missions were already amazing on PSVR 1.
To me it looks like VR in general has got a boost a few months ago, and it looks like this is going to continue in 2025. Even though I have been very happy with my PSVR2 since the release, at this moment my 'still need to play list' is getting bigger and bigger.
I wish theyd update pavlov on psvr2... it would actually bring in more players knowing that they will stay up to date with the latest content and crossplay
Jammy you may plan to go outside this year but when you do you may find that you are disappointed by the graphics and game play. Honestly you might be better off staying the NMS world. It is beautiful. Happy new year 😜
Oh and you missed Ghost Town by Fireproof Games (makers of The Room). It isn't confirmed for 2025, but the end of their reveal trailer says "Coming Soon" and you can already wish list it. Should be out in 2025.
I'm just wondering if there is any news on Resident Evil 7 coming to PSVR 2? It would be nice if Resident Evil 2 and 3 Remake get a VR mode as well. The whole game, not just the main story.
I want a proper Guardians of the Galaxy in psvr2. Kind of the like the recent game where you play as Star Lord and give commands to the squad. It could work tomorrow to iron man vr but a longer experience.
I'm the complete opposite . I stopped doing youtube because it got boring . I had almost 20,000 subs and was increasing but then decided to stop, delete my vids and just use youtube to watch instead . Two vids had 6 million views which was interesting . Now as each month goes by I lose a few subs .
@ forgot to say I was going to get the adapter aswell but do you know if there is any difference between off brand adapters made for psvr2 and the normal PlayStation one? I want to get it off of amazon and that’s the only place there in stock.
Im VERY excited for Undead Citadel and Flatout. Legendary Tales has me wanting more RPG and Flatout is gonna feed that racing need with GT7 at its side. Im excited for some of the shooters as well!
The only game I am exited for is Assetto Corsa Evo. I only play GT7 and I am just hoping that Evo will make it to PlayStation in 25 but more so I'm hoping it will actually be VR compatible. I do love the look of some of these other games but I suffer from an illness that makes my limbs swell so most of the time I couldn't even get the VR hand controllers over my hands. I would also struggle to stand up for ages to play a game but I love anything racing anyway. I've always been a fan of the GT games but Assetto has way better physics and if ACC had been VR compatible I probably wouldn't play GT7 half as much so big 🤞for Evo.
Not a single first party title is beyond depressing, but this is Sony after all and anything gaming related that isnt the home console they mismanage and let die.
With gt7, and now exo cars and flat out coming to psvr2 I think now may be time to start thinking about a racing rig. I'm kinda disappointed, tbh I've been holding out for good racing and flight sims since launch, and we've had pretty much nothing but horror n action adventure games. As much as I'm looking forward to aces of thunder, the fact that its all old planes really annoys me. I want something with modern-day jets and full hotas support. Something rhats really gona push the ps5 and vr2ss resolution n frame rates to the limit
A lot of the bigger games we know about for 2025 were supposed to be released in 2024. There will probably be a lot of 2025 games that haven't been announced yet. But I wouldn't be surprised if it's a bit of a step down from 2024 in terms of the heavy hitters. It isn't every year that you get games based on major franchises like Batman and Aliens, as well as the multi-year hype machine which was Behemoth. They all happened to hit around the same time in the same year, and that's a hard release schedule to follow. Still I think 2025 could be a solid year with a lot of good titles.
Love your work, and I know the time needed to make quality content. So, I emplore you to please don't shotgun content! OMG Lofi............ Boxing lost me when they lost knuckeles
we need more physical games, how Alien Rogue Incursion and Metro Awakening didn't get a physical release is a tragedy

Naw
Too right. I'll happily pay a premium of 10-20% to have a disc on my shelf if theyre worried about margins
I prefer to pay more for physical disc, so I can share it with my friends or family without the inconvenience of digital game share

I’m with you on the Ace Combat needing to come to PSVR2. It would be the dream to get that game on VR. It looks like it’s meant to be on VR.
Happy new year!
Really hoping for some news on golf+ coming to psvr2.
I’m loving re village rn also just bought aliens and into the radius and ps premium gave me Star Wars and synapse I’m going to be busy for a while
I just hope these flying games have demos so I can see how well I tolerate their motion before getting the game. Great video btw!
Yes most of the PSVR2 driving games make me quite dizzy
I wish all the games had demos! Lol
We need more sandbox physics type games like blade and sorcery, that would be great to have on psvr2 or something like nightclub simulator.
Happy New Year Jammy. Youre a very impressive RUclipsr and im proud to be a subscriber xxx rock on mate

I saw Pirates VR jolly Roger is coming this year too.. I'm super stoked for this

Cross play is on Pavlov I was playing with an index player before
@ClickerLB theres no cross play with oculus, the biggest accessable vr on the market, so no theres no crossplay.
Hey jammy do you know when hitman on psvr2 is coming out and will it be a free expansion if you have the game just like the psvr version
Jammy you may plan to go outside this year but when you do you may find that you are disappointed by the graphics and game play. Honestly you might be better off staying the NMS world. It is beautiful. Happy new year 😜

Do you think Asgard’s Wrath 2 will come to PSVR2?

I am so excited for I Am Cat!

Aces of Thunder Im waiting for since last year 2024.
Psvr2 is mainly for 180 degrees of movement or sitting down that wire is a danger hazard
So much Games 🥳 but I Need more time. My wishlist is sooo big 😮
Hope Capcom give us Enhanced VR patch RE8 and RE4..

Ace combat looks awesome!
I would love to get a port of Batman Arkham shadow in 2025
You Forgot one! System Critical 3! 🦾
Missed grimlord
should i get a psvr2 if i play games like bonelab and metro awakening or half life alyx? ive been wanting one for a while now but cant decide.
With psvr2 you can play both steam vr and ps5 vr games. For pc you will need adapter for 60 bucks.
@ forgot to say I was going to get the adapter aswell but do you know if there is any difference between off brand adapters made for psvr2 and the normal PlayStation one? I want to get it off of amazon and that’s the only place there in stock.
@@Floppagt_ No idea about off brand ones. Took the original one and it is all good.
I hope they release HL Alyx and Batman Arkham shadow for psvr2
Frenzies is gonna be a top tier game
Im VERY excited for Undead Citadel and Flatout. Legendary Tales has me wanting more RPG and Flatout is gonna feed that racing need with GT7 at its side. Im excited for some of the shooters as well!

Cold VR
I don't think we will see Aces Of Thunder. Keeps getting put off and the longest game delay in history
And you know what else is massive

I read GTA7 and was like bro 👁️👄👁️
Need a proper open world game like skyrim
Doesn't look as exciting as 2024
