I think if I were the author and they done that to my book I would definitely have needed to sit down, chances are my bladder would have over excited itself and my brain would be blowing colourful fireworks all over the place. This is bloody stunning and one of the most beautiful YA books I have seen them do. (Maybe give FairyLoot some lessons, please as they were shite for February)

It bends 360 degrees so if you bend the two sides back on each other the two magnets stick together to makes a proper lamp. You can also half open it and stick it to a magnetic surface like your fridge x
Illumicrate may have delivered the best book box ever…bold statement. But you’re right, the book was BEAUTIFULLY designed and lots of customisations. The items were top tier and again, great designs…I’m so impressed ❤
Also, the strainer, you can make cold brew :) so cold coffee, different teas, matcha or fruit water. Really cool addition. Almost as cool as my fancy new book lamp 😂

I have an book lamp in bigger with an remote control, so it's more handy than the illumicrate one. But I'm also soo excited for receiving the box, cause I'm already in live with the lamp and everything else🥰🥰🥰

But also when you pulled the book and somehow didnt see the book edges straight away i was like COME ON LOOOOKKKK cause I knew you would love it haha And next month has one of my face items ahhh (otherwise i would have skipped).
When I was editing the video I was like "why have I not noticed the edges??????" Although in my defence I do have very poor vision but choose not to wear glasses while filming because the thick lenses cause distortion 😂 I'm so pleased I didn't open this first because I would have been so angry with Fairyloot

Omg! 🫠 I’ve been subscribed to FL since September and this is my 3rd illumicrate (somehow my January box got skipped and they couldn’t rectify it 😢) and it’s the best box I’ve gotten. I actually just switched to the book only box because normally I don’t like illumicrate’s items. Like last month, I don’t think I liked any of them. But this month was amazing! I’m just so happy! I did the exact same thing that you did with the book lamp 🤣 I now know why special editions can make you cry 🤣 it’s hands down the best edition I’ve gotten so far from any box. I just wish a quote was on the back instead of praise from other authors. I’m not wowed by the endpapers. They’re beautiful, but the rest of the book just looks so magical! I’m really looking forward to April’s book! I want a galaxy stenciled edge, please and thank you!
When I saw the water bottle, I instantly knew this box would be better than the Fairyloot Feb box. Regarding the strainer, you can try putting fruit in to give more flavor to your water, like lime or lemon, even strawberry. Hmm, so that's what an Illumicrate book sleeve looks like. Oh, the book was what I had hoped Fairyloot would be doing and was heartbroken to hear that they weren't. Kind of disappointed by the dust jacket though. It was an already beautiful cover in the original version but I like seeing how book boxes change the design. Like I would replace the dust jacket with the book sleeve. I really hope that someone will sell this book to me.

You can bend the booklamp 360 degrees and the two wooden panels click together with a magnet. You can also lay it flat, so 180 degrees, if you put it on a magnetic underground. I put it on my fridge :D

I got my book today and it was gorgeous. I canceled Illumicrate after just three boxes last year because They were so disappointing. I actually can’t even remember all the books I got because they were so underwhelming but I decided to give them a second chance when they lowered the shipping cost to the US and I am so glad I did. I really love this book and i hope they can keep up.
Nice video as always! I have one of these book lamps too and you can actually completely open it (like 360 degrees) and it should stay still and create a sort of « bubble lamp ». Don’t know if it makes sense haha

And I absolutely in love with the way they customised the book. Great quality, amazing edges. Also love the water bottle and the book sleeve, I didn't have one of those yet!
I really like that water bottle. The sleeve will also help keep the condensation down as well as protect it a bit. The strainer means you can add fruit to cold water and get the flavor of it. I am jealous about the book lamp! How much fun is that!? The book sleeve is pretty. Illumicrate really did a great job with the items! And the book this month...beautiful!

Okay so! A tip I figured on keeping the book lamp open! It is magnetic, so you can open it all the way until both sides touch, keep it open like that for a little bit, detach and voila! An open book! I don't know if it's actually cheap or anything, but it's very effective. And I looove a consistent theme that they kept in this box for all the items, compared to Fairyloot. This is one of their best boxes ever and what they did to the book is...mind blowing 😯 Love illumicrate! I am not a fan of the porcelain items so I am skipping next month, looking forward to April (and the papercraft kit for the Poppy War too yes! The more Poppy War stuff the merrier for me as it's one of my all time favorite series! XD). Love your channel, love all of the unboxing videos and watch you religiously!

The book lamp you can stick the two ends together. There’s magnets to hold it. Also I don’t think you can use the past drink bottle with hot drinks as I don’t think it has a double wall like this months bottle.

I very carefully opened my lamp all the way so the magnetic clasps kept it open all the way. Someone told me if you leave it like that for a few minutes then it will lay flat (but I can't testify to this) that book though 😍
The "book covers" of the book lamp are magnetic...so you can un fan it 360° and use it as a lamp standing up. And once the spine is relaxed, it can stay open like a book.
So for the book sleeve item, are you supposed to be able to slide both hardcover ends into it? I tried slipping this months book into it, and can only get one sleeve in and not the other. It's not elastic-y enough to get both bookends into it. Thanks for the video!
Previously I've had to pull one of the hardcovers back horrifically far to get it in but for me it's worth bending it for not getting finger prints all over. I usually do the back cover :(

The book sleeves are really useful to avoid getting finger prints on books, but you do need to bend the cover quite far back to get it on
