Very cool Product, but $500 is quite a bit more than my helmet mounted rear view mirror! Really hoping to see this become popular and reach down to the $300 range!
Yeah, this is what I struggle with too. I get why it's expensive, but at the same time, it doesn't do a better job than a rear view mirror mounted on a helmet. The mirror does look a bit dumb, but it's cheap and useful. Also, the map feature is nice as well. I would actually get this if it's $200 or less.
This is a nice product, but the rear of my helmet is occupied by my brake light. I wonder if this company and Brake Free could collaborate and design a single product for the rear of our helmets. Otherwise, that real estate is going to be rather expensive.

yep. I have the Pidzoom mirror as well. love it so far. However it is a stick protruding out of my face and only see one side of the road. It is a very price effective substitute though

a week has passed no other video of this product...🤗 I just installed mine with extra battery and front.camera(it can record both cameras and switch to rearview recording is in background, cool feature) I really hate they do not inform.you the HUD can be installed only on the right side(for the left side of helmet you have to speak to customer service and buy a different module that is not on website) just curios what sound records the outside of inside mic..I have to test it tomorrow! also curiosus about night riding camera quality and mesh intercom
It’s interesting, but I’ll wait a few more iterations. Never buy first gen and for $500, you can just use a pidzoom helmet mirror. For EUC, I also don’t want anything blocking my field of view, it ruins the experience. For motorcycle, this is more tempting for blind spots.
the Camera is omitted on the SE. the SE doesn't have the rear camera. the SE just carplay on an HUD. Personally if you are already paying $450, the extra 50 is a great incremental addition.

or just get a Pidzoom helmet mirror and a wrist mount for your phone. That should set you back about 30 monies.

I can get used to my PIDZOOM mirror within a few minutes, not sure how long it will take if I use this HUD though
They should integrate some light (better if brake lights) into the unit. I always think that lights should be mounted higher up.

that was my first thought. i'm left-handed and left eye dominant. it would be a bit weird for me to watch it with my right eye
