    Hi Dr.Talei. Love this demo. Do you ever use longer, or 23g/25g cannulas?
    Any areas you don’t use lidocaine for fillers?
    All the best.

      @@mohammedshazly4039 It’s actually very safe. Safer than needles. I used to do tear troughs using needles, but now I only use cannulas.

      Thanks for your reply Dan..whenever i use the cannula there can i be at the supraperiostal level..i think its highly debatable..
      As for the safety if i go deep at the bone level would it be safe with a 27g micro cannula?
      And can u go that deep given that the cannula cant arch over the zygoma with that point of entry..
      Im not debating here..im just trying to learn from my masters thats all..

    • @danestheticsmedical
      @danestheticsmedical 2 года назад

      @@mohammedshazly4039 Sure. I use a 25 or 22g cannula for almost all of my treatments. In my opinion, it’s designed to bump arteries out of the way. The larger the cannula, the safer. The downside with larger cannulas is less precision. I prefer 25g myself.

    Im curious as to why more and more doctors are saying no to juvederm under eyes. I've always had Juvederm or Perlane (thick stuff) under eyes and in troughs. It lasts a long time and it creates the fullness I'm looking for. Other fillers like simple restylane are too thin and don't last for me. Anyone else have thoughts?

      How do you know he didn't let her know beforehand? Also this risk of blindness in specific is extremely low given that the procedure is being performed correctly. The injector's number one consideration is always to reduce the chances of arterial occlusion via a true understanding of the underlying network of vasculature. So, the points of insertion are chosen with respect to low risk sites, a blunt tip cannula is used instead of a needle to reduce arterial intrusion, and in her case the injections are being performed down near the periosteum.

    • @chintho2012
      @chintho2012 4 года назад +1

      It can cause blindness only if the injector accidentally injecting the fillers into vessels. Please do not generalise that fillers can cause blindness. Do more research and please don’t make it sound bad.
