Great video! Thanks! I have got the Seagull as well and I can confirm that it is a lovely vintage style Watch. I replaced the Nato for a nice brown leather strap and I enjoy the Watch very much. The books you bought are real classics; as an amateur-watchmaker they have been very helpful to me, specially the book from De Carle is very good. The Shugart price guide is a worlwide reference for collectors of vintage and pocketwatches. It also contains a lot of usefu information for beginning Watch collectors and also on the technical side of watches. Great buys CG! Regards from Holland :)

(for a price obviously lol) i recently bought my first ever reasonable watch, don't laugh at me, the invicta 8926ob. i know, invicta blah blah blah but i don't have a ton of cash on hand to throw out and i love how it looks. in the near future i was hoping to change the dial though as well as the bezel, and remove the invicta branding. let me know if this would be possible!

have you ever pressed on a super double domed sapphire from crystaltimes before? i can't get it to sit flush. i'm on my 3rd gasket and it keeps going in tilted... makes me tilted lol i've pressed on crystals from yobokies and dlw which gave me no issues.

I wish I had the Omega SM prior to that one without the ugly, and so stupid looking helium valve that not necessary and has nothing to do with diving.

My Alpha Daytona homage has the same Seagull movement inside, seems pretty reliable so far.
I've heard nothing but good things and have been pretty impressed so far.
