I seem to have read somewhere that this camera supports no more than 4GB. After all, there were no memory cards of large objects at that time. Even 4gb was considered very large.

Это окислы от дешёвой вытекшей батареи. Если почистить, то возможно будет работать. Но чтоб чистить, нужно разобрать. А вот разобрать а тем более потом собрать, это очень сложно, а для обычного пользователя практически невозможно!🤷

You need a device that can accept MSD/MSPD (Memory stick duo/memory stick pro duo) cards. At least that's the only way I know.
