"How(enta) charming(muddo) and how(enta) elegant(sogaso) is he. Whoever(evari valla)Is capable of (tagune) of describing(varnimpa)"
Young (Mandolin) Shrinivas playing BindumAlini like he owned it.. How strange it is I search fervently for his music among hundreds of CDs for over three hours and I come up with this krithi in raga Bindumalini that this prodigy chose to play at the Aradhana may be around 1984. How can one describe him and his music ?
Eyes blur as I watch..
Look at the positive energy on the stage. Everyone happy to see the young maestro play with innocence and enjoy his own gift of music!
So true🙏
Very very rare Gem was Mandolin Srinivas. God gifted child. Can’t control tears in my eyes. What will be the state of his parents, I wonder. 😢
God's own child....eyes fill with tears when listening....
Best said.
GOD Himself incarnated in Srinivas Form to enthral the carnatic world with Alien Musical instrument of India.
There is no replacement for the mastro
Great
Yes, same here.
Please don't cry
I have not seen Lord Subrahmanya. But when i look at young Srinivas, for me he is like Lord Subrahmanya. Radiating that energy around him with piercing eyes and smile.
ఆయ్యా మీలాంటి విధ్వాన్సా సభూతుడు మళ్లీ మళ్లీ ఈభూమిమేద పుట్టాలని పుట్టించాలని ఆ భగవంతుని కోరుచున్నాను
Since his passing, it's the first time I can bring myself to hear his music again... it was such a tragedy to be snatched away so soon. He is irreplaceable.
I still haven’t been able to come to terms to his passing!
wat an innocent n cute smile which he carried through out his whole life inspite of all his miseries.Very humble n disciplined human being also.
Yah its true
Love you mandolin srinivas sir
Tears roll down my eyes whenever I listen to the rendition of entha mudho by the genius.
He has created a path for us all to see God via this composition
How did he played the only two noted EandB instrument 🎸 mandolin with that much precision adopting it to classical carnatic music 🎵🎶??? like a monk in deep penance. It's truly wonderful thing with god's grace showered on him that made music lovers plunged the music he created.
A very very RARE GEM, an outstanding child prodigy.Sri. Srinivas's passing away is irreperable loss to all music lovers all over the world.A gem and a very great master of a very rare amazing, enthralling, scintilating carnatic music of a very high order. We cannot get a replacement for this great loss.

What a soulful rendition. His music is enough for us to cleanse us. BTW nobody has noticed Kunnakudi Sir standing to the left in red kurta enjoying Srinivas sir's performance I think.
The great loss in our country. Maybe God wants to listen to this music
At such an young age, his Divine talent melted negativity and charged us with positive, Divine energy, always! After watching this video, eyes blur on their own, like you have described here. Thanks for preserving and uploading this gem from Srinivas.
மண்ணில் மீட்டிய விரல்கள் மறைந்தாலும் விண்ணில் மீட்டும் விரல்கள்.
அருமை உண்மை
Eyes blur each and every time this plays..
I was emotionally moved watching this video. No age for music. He is not playing like he owned bindumalini, for me he owns it. Shrinivas, salutations for you. Maythini Sridharan, thanks for uploading this clip. Irreplaceable musician - huge loss.
Thanks for sharing the video. Would be happy to listen to many other concerts of this child prodigy.
My God! What a breathtaking, incredible, prodigy. Like a distant comet, he flashed by us for a fleeting moment in time and left an indelible, unique, mark by introducing an hitherto unfamiliar mandolin that has greatly enriched and show cased the divinity of Carnatic music, It was not just his genius, but also the adorable personality of total Shraddha,, humility, respect and love that he displayed that left a divine halo around his music. Thank God for RUclips and digital media we are fortunate to be left with some rare collection of his concerts that should be edited and enhanced as a must see for future generations - rather than the decadent, cheap, music suffocating the airwaves and corrupting the youth. RIP dear Srinivas.
கேட்க, கேட்க கண்ணீர்தான் பெருகுகிறது.

ThyAgaraja Utsavam Thiruvaiyar: I think its 1983 or something..
Maythini Sridharan Thank you Maydhini Sridharan!
Might be a born pundit of mandolin till the sad incident occurred when god need his concerts before him in heaven.
He's bending the time so much at the beginning it's hard to believe a kid his age already had that much funk
Hi! I think you are a westerner. The artist was kid in early 1980's 10-12 yes old. At that age performing this South Indian classical music itself considered to be a prodigy or God given or God's incarnation. But he introduced this western instrument, to the South Indian classical music which is considered to be an orthodox form of all music in the world, at this tender age by adopting the fingering to this form from his own self. He was a genius.
Sangeeta swara Bala yogeshwar, mandolin Srinivas!!!! Na bhootho na bhavishya thi!
Anyone knows who is the person standing next to. kunnakudi sir? With the. Large kunkuma on forehead?
