This video made me realise Albert Einstein was not just a great scientist…he was an enlightened soul who knew what life was & how to lead it peacefully & consciously. No wonder he didn’t give up on his inventions despite several failed attempts.

Seems so much in life that should be simple is so needlessly complicated. I contend that our ultra-modern, ultra-"advanced" and ultra-sophisticated technology really isn't progress unless and until it becomes simple enough and user-friendly enough that nearly anyone can use it and benefit from it without requiring a doctorate in engineering or computer science or some expensive technogeek to walk us through it. When instructions become clear and easy to follow, in language everyone can understand, when they're consistently accurate, give enough information and provide enough essential details, AND everything new comes with them so that even so-called average people can use new-fangled gadgets without hassle or frustration, THEN I shall call new technology progress.
And let's not forget the moral angle when it comes to using practical thngs. We would be a whole lot better off as a society IF our morality would catch up to our technology, which it has a long way to go to do so, and may never do so, at all.
We're so busy sending probes to Mars and exploring our solar system when there's still so much on earth that needs addressing and fixing, I do question our priorities as a race of beings. Let's first simplify and clean up our own backyards. Heaven knows, we sorely need to do that.

That one resonated with me. In school, I had a hard time understanding what I was being taught. The teachers made it seem like I wasn't really paying attention or I was dense. But one day we had a substitute teacher come in for one class who apparently did understand the subject well, explained things simply and I learned more in those few days he taught than the entire time I had with my regular teacher. Other students in the class also said that he explained things better and got the concepts across whereas the regular teacher just confused us.

Maybe that's their motive, to frustrate you enough that you'll no longer bother them. I've been taught by the occasional REAL teacher, and it makes a world of difference.

Although he was a pacifist, he knew quite well what the Germans were capable of during World War II, which is why he urged FDR to embark on the Manhattan Project, and I'm glad he did! As for nuclear power, it's probably the most viable energy source right now, due to climate change. Ultimately I'd like to see fusion power, which would satisfy all our energy needs for hundreds of years and not create any pollution, including greenhouse gases.

If creativity allows you to surmise what will happen before it happens, then knowledge is not due strictly to experience. Intuition, or having a mind that can understand cause and effect provides insight long before an experience takes place. If anyone could know that it would be Einstein as much of his work was theoretical and not provable when derived. His cause and effect was way deeper than most, so I have trouble believing the first of these statements came from him.

To me it's more than a gut feeling, when it happens I just know. It has saved my life multiple times and others lives as well. The intuition is an extremely powerful Force. The first time it happened to me I was very confused because it wouldn't go away. I had gotten home from school and my mother wasn't home. But she was rarely home at that time and it was so loud in my head saying she's not home and something is very wrong. She had tripped on the railroad tracks and broken her ankle pretty bad. I could have been looking for her if I'd listened to it. I swore I would never ignore this great gift again. It has truly kept me and others safe. Telling me to slow way down on my motorcycle coming up to a curve. When I came around the curve cruising at 10 mph the road was packed with turkeys. I wouldn't have survived had I not listened.
There have been so many more events that are even bigger.

There is a certain group within science today who cannot understand the wisdom of this Einstein quote. Perhaps it is because they come from societies whose members were virtually all illiterate up to fairly modern times. People of that nature have to memorize because illiteracy makes looking up things impossible.
