Decatur Redd "The Real Atlanta" Documentary... A short documentary is not enough to tell a life long story of a fight between pain and glory. Decatur Redd and Casso Motion Pictures put forth a great effort in trying to do so as they bring the cameras to Decatur Ga. in hope to capture as much of the present and revisit the past of Decatur Redd

@@mikeschmidt4800 it's the whole South. I'm in Florida and we got so many folks moving here from California, New York, all parts up north,etc. Crazy covid lockdowns made it worse. We got companies coming in buying up all the property and renting it out. Something like 30% of my neighborhood is rentals now.
I miss the old atlanta. I live in dallas now and its not the same how atl was. When i came back to visit the atl i was so shocked to see how many homes were abandoned when they were once filled with families. Atlanta will never be the same but at least i have great memories of my city where i once called home

Deshuntae Abercrombie I from the ATL too. Born and raised in the Adamsville neighborhood on the West Side. I remember when (The Miami Boys) tried to take over alot of our Hoods: Bowen Homes, BankHead Courts, Eastlake Meadows ( Lil Vietnam) and Tech Wood. They were ran out of our projects though.

DirtySouthFlorida3 As far as I know, it was with the (intentions) of taking over the drug traps and or turfs in the projects of Atlanta. Those Miami Cats brought heavier artillery to the game, they were known to have semi automatic tech 9s some converted to become a fully automatic. I wasn't apart of the game, but I know of a a few that were in the game during that time in the mid 80s to the early 90s and have fun shot wounds to prove it. Me, personally, Homie, had I been in the game, I would have tried to connect with others and share the 🍞. Better to have more Real Friends than Real Foes. Yeah, I know, unfortunately the world doesn't work that way.
